Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

BelgiumOur stay in Ubud was an absolute dream. From the moment we arrived, we felt incredibly welcomed. The accommodation was breathtaking, designed in a beautiful traditional style that perfectly captures the Balinese atmosphere. We booked a stay with a view of the rice fields, and it was simply amazing. Waking up to such a stunning panorama was an experience in itself. Everything was spotless, and there was great attention to detail, making our stay even more special. The food was delicious and carefully prepared. The swimming pool was also a wonderful addition—perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. What made this stay even better was the opportunity to book various activities directly with them. We took advantage of this and were very satisfied with their service. Everything was well-organized, allowing us to fully enjoy our time. In short, this was a fantastic place to stay in Ubud. We would book here again without hesitation!

GermanyWe had a great stay in the villa. The rooms are well equipped and together with the surroundings invite to simply stay in and around Arya Villas (pools, areas to relax, rice fields, massages etc.). The staff is very attentive and solves every request as well as they can. A special touch is the afternoon tea and the free shuttle (watch the schedule) to Ubud when one is ready to exchange the peacefulness of Arya Villas with the busy Ubud heartbeat.

AustraliaBeautiful grounds, villas, staff and location. The pool and dining room look out over gorgeous rice fields. It is tranquil. I loved the 10-minute Gojek scooter ride into town - when you get back to the villa you breathe out with the relaxed and quiet location. Highly recommend.

Do not hesitate just go for Arya villas Ubud. Only 10 minutes of an easy scooter drive from the busy Ubud. The rooms are gorgeous, quiet and comfortable, not to mention the bathroom which is a gem. The view of the rice field in the morning has its breathtaking. The quality of the food is really excellent. All the staff, without exception, are magnificently smiling, at our service and with little care, and especially Dika who gave us good advice and guidance during these few days. The value for money is excellent. Paolo and Tess.

SwedenI recently stayed at Arya Villas Ubud, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff's kindness and attentiveness made us feel incredibly welcome. Their helpfulness was beyond expectations, ensuring our stay was smooth and comfortable. The villa itself was absolutely stunning—spacious, beautifully designed, and offering the perfect blend of luxury and comfort. The restrooms were immaculate and beautifully appointed, adding to the overall sense of indulgence. The private pool was a standout feature, offering a serene space to relax while surrounded by lush greenery. The on-site restaurant was another highlight. With a breathtaking view overlooking the rice fields, every meal felt like a special occasion. The food was delicious, freshly prepared, and showcased the best of local and international flavors. Arya Villas Ubud is a perfect retreat for anyone looking for a peaceful escape, exceptional service, and beautiful surroundings. I cannot recommend it highly enough and look forward to returning!

UkraineThe villas aren’t newest hence have some thingies here and there that require touch up or repair. The restaurant tried to make a special dinner for Christmas which really didn’t work; they’d better keep the regular menu although it is also very average; there are many places with cheaper yet tastier food. The last hundred meters of the road towards the hotel is extremely narrow and crooked; think twice about driving here by yourself. It has nothing to do with the property but going to Ubud is painful as it takes half an hour and more due to the terrible traffic around. The hotel has shuttles few times daily, but that open buggy isn’t the best option for the smoggy thick exhaust cloud that covers the town nowadays; we were here a few years ago and it was a different place which is now loosing its beauty.
Lovely place surrounded by farming houses and some rice fields. Amazing staff. The Balinese massage in the spa was great. Property maintained rather well, with very few downsides.

UkraineThe Wi-Fi in our room did not work. Also, the food in the restaurant was bland for my taste.
Great hotel. Located in the middle of rice fields, so it's very quiet. Nice garden. Nice swimming pool. Spacious rooms and huge bathroom. There is a shuttle to the city centre. The hotel also offers entertainment. Literally 9 minutes from the hotel there is a supermarket and 10 minutes cafe Section 9.
