Autentik is located on a beautiful peaceful location full of nature in Nusa Penida and everything matched our expections, maybe even lots better than we thought it could be. We definitely recommend it to everyone!

1. The staff is very helpful. I can get any help from the staff (e.g. make reservation on dinner, booking on activity, do laundry and etc). 2. The accomodation is very close to nature, where we can look at nature directly from our bed. 3. The hotel has partnership with one restaurant (Amok sunset) that provided free shuttle car to settle dinner. The sunset view is very beautiful! There are a few other restaurants that do delivery to the property. 4. The most important point, the staff really try to understand my need and also remember our conversation. When i checked out from authentic, I accidentally left some important item. The staff tried to call me but couldn't reach me due to my connection issue. Without wasting any time, the staff rushed to the harbour (they knew I went to the harbour from our conversations) and found me among many people! Really appreciate the kindness and responsible from the staff!

We loved our stay at Autentik! We loved the glamping and our own terrace with bean bags. It is also a huge plus it has its own lovely pool surrounded by greenery. Breakfast was lovely and included. The staff really made the stay, they were so welcoming and attentive!

The resort itself is beautiful with a gorgeous relaxing pool and you really feel like you’re in the jungle. The staff were amazing and the tents are so luxurious with everything you could possible need.

Nothing we didnt like, only small improvement would be more food avaliable at the bar during the day - even some salads/smoothies. This would be great instead of having to order.

Really loved the staff, they give us lots of information on the island so we loved being able to explore. The island is big enough that you can spend a day exploring. The rooms are big and great value for money!

We liked everything. The staff, in particular Soni, was great - helped us with more than our expectations - full brief on what to do in Nusa Penida. helped us book a tour, recommended good local and foreign restaurants nearby etc. Soni went beyond - he brought us an umbrella to a warung (local restaurant) we went for dinner when and it started raining. The room was amazing - great jungle view, amazing breakfast and nice pool. Everything was clean and nice. Good snacks in the room as well.

We had SO high expectations about this hotel considering the reviews and the fact that we paid 2-3 times more than the other hotels we stayed with in Bali for the same amount of nights. Prior to this, we stayed at two amazing hotels in Ubud and Amed which were half the price and a lot better in terms of location, facilities, breakfast and price. I unfortunately have to say that our stay here fell quite flat for us and that we were not very impressed. What we did not like specifically: - All communication from Booking and the hotel stated that we had to pay everything in cash at the hotel, including the room. This meant that we had to withdraw over 8 million rupies in cash and also pay quite a hefty commission rate for this. When we arrived at the hotel they said that this was not the case but that we only had to pay for any additional services in cash and that the room could indeed be paid by card, however this was a little bit late to receive this information and should have been communicated more clearly when booking. - The room itself is nice but very sparse. Even though we had AC it became excruciatingly hot, and it also felt very unsustainable to have the AC run on full speed constantly. We also paid around 80 euro extra per night to have a room with "jungle view" rather than a "garden view", however we could barely see any difference on these two room types whereas I would not recommend paying this much extra for that. - The facilities need a bit of a deep clean as it looks a bit worn (tent itself, pool area). I think our disappointment comes down to the fact that it is a lot more expensive than other properties that we stayed at, and due to this we had very high expectations and assumed that the hotel would match these expectations. But I have to say that it was nothing extra ordinary and that I would not recommend or stay here again for this price (and this was already a discounted price due to off season).

The staff is really friendly and helpful which we really liked. We really enjoyed the monkey family that lived directly outside our room that we had the privilege of seeing every morning and evening.

I’m gutted by the service of the hotel owner. We gave our laundry to the reception manager and even discussed how to handle with the different colours. When our laundry returned, 3 of our shirts were completely screwed / changed colour. Mistakes can happen, but please have some empathy for your guests. We got 10% “discount” on our room for the inconvenience… They didn’t ask what we would like or what so ever. Don’t do your laundry here!
