Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SingaporeThin walls as I could hear my neighbours when they closed the door/ talk
Location is great, right smacked in the middle of the popular Jalan Malioboro street (road closed to vehicles daily from 6-9PM; you might want to take note if you’re cabbing back), directly opposite Tugu Jogja that sells local snacks and a stone’s throw away from Yogyakarta station - which brings you to YIA in 35min (IDR50k) or 39min (IDR20K). Not to mention that there’re many eateries in the area, think Loko Cafe, Legend Coffee (3-5min away via motorbike), Sellie Coffee, Kenangan Kopi…. Room was clean and spacious, the front desk staff is well versed in English, polite and helpful. Did not opt for breakfast hence can’t comment on that. There’s a swimming pool at reception level (8), suit up in your swim gear if keen

IndonesiaWe booked triple room but many of the amenities are for 2 people so I have to call receptions several times to ask for extra shampoo, soaps, cups, tea, coffee pods etc. My mum is in wheel chair so challenging when we need to check out and i have to go upstairs to return the key and went downstairs again while the 2 elevators are almost always full, we have to wait for almost 10 min to get down. Reception in the 8th floor is not convenient at all!!. Bathroom smells very bad and I had to call reception to get it fixed. It was fixed the 1st day but smells return on the 2nd day. Internet is also sporadic, I would not pick this hotel if you need to do a bit of work. A little challenging when communicating via booking.com box and whatsapp. Park space is also limited, so we have to plan away our pick up so that driver doesnt need to wait too long.
We are party of 3 - my mum 83, my auntie 77 and myself 56 yo, stayed at triple room for 3 days 2 nights. We liked it that the hotel is in Maliobro where everything happens there. Room is very spacious for triple room. It has coffee machine, tea and welcome snacks. Water bottles are generous - 1 big bottle and 3 medium bottles (the 1st time I stayed in a hotel where I dont need to buy extra bottle of water!!). Staffs are very nice and helpful. Breakfast was good with lots of variety and tasted good.

IndonesiaAt that time too noisy of the music when I was checked in at the receptionist but it is understandable due to NY Eve.
The staff was very polite and helpful, the Malioboro road was closed due to new year eve, hence I was picked up by the hotel staff / security on the other side of the road, otherwise I would be stuck on the traffic. And I like the cafe in downstairs, their mie gadog is one of the best!

New ZealandSometimes you could hear people walking in the corridor. No soundproof room but I think they mentioned it in the description.
Great location, accessible to tourists attractions, shopping centres, coffee shops - friendly staff, oh and the corridor always smells nice. They have snacks and drinks in mini bar that they offer for free too.

AustraliaThe small street (to reach the hotel entrance) next to hotel occasionally had strange odor. Our room's pass worked intermittently (I should have asked replacement but I didn't)..
The location at the centre of Malioboro and so close to everywhere (e.g. eatery, art/merchandise/souvenirs shops and it's literally next to Malioboro Mall). We had quiet, spacious, modern and clean rooms and comfortable beds. Morning breakfast was great (I love gudeg, porridges, cakes, puddings and all the patisseries). Friendly & helpful receptionist and back-end staffs (big thanks for expedited our laundries on our last day stay). Complementary room amenities & drinks. I will definitely recommend this hotel & will book again if I visit Jogja in the future.
