It’s a nice hotel with little bungalows. The staff were really nice and helpful! They helped us to organize all activities and gave us a lot of recommendations for the island! That was lovely! Highly recommend to stay here!😊

There is a mosque near and it’s ramadan so you can hear they pray all night but it’s like this everywhere on the island

The hotel is very well located, you can easily walk there from Porto. The staff are super nice and always ready to help. Even when it's raining, the beach still looks beautiful, the sea almost transparent. Breakfast offers lots of different fruits. And the restaurant has awesome healthy choices, I suggest trying the cheese and pumpkin salad.

Great place, just on the edge of the main strip around the port. You can walk 200 metres to your left to get to Tyrtle Point and 200 metres to your right for all the bars and restaurants. This place also has a beautiful cafe stretching from the property and also on the beach. They do great breakfasts, lunch, and dinner. We paid for breakfast in our room rate and were impressed every day. You get a fresh juice (we had dragon fruit. Watermelon, and a mix of both),, a plate of fruit (usually pineapple, 2 melon types, and dragon fruit), coffee/latte/tea/etc, then a choice of many gorgeous offerings (see pics for menu and a few items). The rooms were very spacious, lovely big comfy beds, wardrobe, mini bar, everything you would need. Beautifully decorated in a beach style. Bathroom was big with a great shower, and had your shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and hand wash. Rooms also had a lovely wicker type beach bag with beach towels. The property is right on a lovely beach where you also have sun loungers. The staff who work here are an asset to the property. All very polite and always willing to help. From reception, to cafe/restaurant, room cleaners, and those tending the grounds. They really made our stay pleasurable. Would definitely stay here again and recommend for others visiting the island. There's someone doing a preying 5am every morning by the public broadcast, so it would be very noisy cause the hotel is a little bit close to the broadcast station

Beautiful place to stay in Gili, Staff is the best part! We were with a baby and they are all So kind and helpful. Comfortable amenities and chairs With umbrellas in the beach. Nice breakfast and very nice food.

The bathroom is partially opened which allowed mosquitoes to come into the room. The mini bar is stocked with booze at expensive prices. We just emptied it and put our own water and beer in it to keep cold. Also it really would have been nice to have some type of fan on outside deck. It was extremely humid when we were there and difficult to sit outside with the many flies and mosquitoes.

This was our 3rd stay at the Bale Sampan. Good location, across from the beach and not in the noisy part of town. Breakfast was very good and a very attentive staff. Small but nice pool. Large room with aircon, fridge, kettle, beach bag and towels.

Cannot recommend enough! We travelled with two other couples wh we’re all spoiled by staff over our three night stay. Make up of room every day was a special occasion as you were welcomed back with amazing artwork on your bed made from towels, flowe petals a s plant leaves. Staff seemed very happy to work here and it showed as they were always smiling and happy to see you and have a conversation. Location is very good on the island with its own designated spot right on the beach with tables sun lounges and umbrellas. Lastly food is amazing! Great range of choice and fresh! We will return to Bale Sampan again!!!

Spent two nights at Bale Sampan Bungalows. I was in a garden view room at the back of the resort and it was very quiet. The aircon was super cold and the bar fridge worked very well. The room was spotlessly clean and Abdul went to great efforts to make me feel welcome with his bed designs! Staff were friendly and accommodating. The beach opposite was perfect with crystal clear blue waters. Beds and dining tables were available on the beach also. Their Taste restaurant offered service on the beach as well as in their restaurant area. Breakfast choices were good and it was always very tasty. The location of Bale Sampan is an easy walk from the harbour in the quieter part of Gili T. Reasonably priced. Would recommend.

Good location in the main vibrant area. but rooms quiet well behind . A small hotel with a big heart. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is on the beach area and the food is very good indeed.

It is super close to the mosque and got woken up EARLY every morning. They did give complimentary earplugs that helped a bit. There was also no hot water.

The location was excellent, loved the pool, loved our room & even got some amazing decorations on our bed.
