Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesThe location would be better with less motorbike traffic for more quiet and ease of walking. It would have been nice to have more food options without gluten. Thinner pillows! All of the pillows were too puffy! I slept with a towel under my head instead.
I loved all the colors and how uniquely each room was decorated. I also loved the staff. They were extremely friendly and helpful! Several called me by my name. The food was delicious and well-prepared. (The chicken fell off the bones!) The juices and smoothies had such great combinations of ingredients. The Open Mic night was so lively and fun! The grounds were beautiful and lush.

United KingdomThe lighting in the room was very dim, so it was quite difficult to read. The aircon control was a bit temperamental but the staff were very helpful in coming to fix. Sometimes when coming back to the room after the bed was made up, the mosquito net was left open at the sides, so I got bitten a few times as they'd sneaked their way in from earlier in the day.
Beautiful scenery and a lovely atmosphere. It was so nice sitting on the balcony or by the pool watching the monkeys. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Bali Bohemia is a great spot in general, as they have an onsite bar / restaurant which hosts an open mic night on Thursdays, chess club on another night, and flamenco music. Very popular with expats, nomads, locals and travellers. A brilliant place to go if you're travelling alone and looking to meet other people.

AustraliaSuper cute and spacious accommodation (we were in the 2 bedroom villa), with a fantastic restaurant, on a lovely quiet street with lots of restaurants a short walk away.

AustraliaWe wanted to stay longer! Next time!
It’s a wonderful bohemian themed property. Each room has its own personality. There is a great pool and our villa had its own private pool. It’s so close to the monkey Forrest and UBUD town. We loved it.

New ZealandWe didn't take the path to Ubud as it seemed quite busy with scooters, but we were told it was safe. There is a torch in your room if you want to use the path at night as there is no lighting.
We loved this wee oasis in a busy Ubud! The room was quirky with the most comfy bed we had our whole trip, and the grounds were lovely. The staff need to be mentioned too as they were so respectful and helpful! Some lovely eating spots a couple of minutes walk, as well as massages. I did get a fright when I was sitting on the balcony casually scrolling the gram, I looked up to see 3 monkeys on the balcony watching me!! I loved that though, even if I did skedaddle to the room, haha! I loved everything, and it's a 10/10 for me, just know this accommodation isn't perfect. For the money I think it's great value and so close to town. There were some gaps in the deluxe double room that mosquitoes could find, but there was a lovely net over the bed. It isn't 5 stars, and it doesn't claim to be, but for me, it was a great experience. I am so glad we stayed, there were definitely memories made!!

United KingdomLighting in the room was poor. It was hard to read at night. Also, there could have been more hooks to hang bags and scarves, etc, instead of a few draws and some hangers. The towels were old and worn, and were not changed until we asked.
I liked the garden and pool, and the room was comfortable & spacious. The balcony was my favourite spot. I liked the fact you could refill a water bottle & save buying more plastic bottles. The staff were polite & friendly.

New ZealandIt's Not a quiet place. You can hear everything from your neighbors and the restaurant. Monkeys fight on your roof in the night and early morning. Roosters start at 5am. It's fine for a few night but then it was nice to move to a more chilled place.
Great location on the corner of monkey forest. Monkeys were very entertaining. Quirky rooms which were really cool for a few nights. Great restaurant but very very loud until 11.30pm Thursday night with open mic night.

AustraliaI loved the monkeys occasionally visiting the roads outside from the forest across the road, though if you are afraid of them, maybe don't stay here.
Fabulous small hotel, stunning gardens, funky bohemian style rooms and furnishings. Great restaurant and pool. Close to monkey forest and shops, food places.

AustraliaWe stayed in ‘Dream’ unit, this is like a townhouse with a room next door. Walls are thin and can hear conversation of neighbours

Czech RepublicThe way to the city centre leads partly through a shortcut that is full of scooters so you have to be careful when walking there
We stayed in the villa with a private pool. The vila was really nice place to stay - it was originally decorated and the beds were comfortable. We also liked that monkeys from time to time came near but they were not aggressive at all. We also visited the restaurant and I really liked their breakfasts. The staff were really friendly and helpful.

My daughter and I truly loved Bali Bohemia Huts. We stayed initially in the large family villa with its own private pool and kitchen, then moved into a Luxury Room ( as the family villa was booked out). Both places had wonderful quirky & artful decor which made it fun to hang out. All staff were extremely friendly and went out of their way to ensure we had a pleasant time. Finally, the restaurant was superb- a good choice of innovative Middle Eastern influenced, healthy food and drinks , plus a Great atmosphere....we can only recommend.
