Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

New ZealandNothing, it was perfect.
The property is bit far away from ubud town but it is what we were looking for. The surrounding were stunning. Pretty calm at night perfect for relaxation. Having a bear by the pool is what you are looking for after a big day. They organise a scooter rental, pick up and drop off straight from your accommodation. The rate to rent it was pretty good and the meals are reasonable price too

NorwayFabulous and friendly staff, enjoyed the company of the resident duck, dog and turtle, a peaceful and serene oasis, great view over the rice fields, salt water pool, elegant and spacious huts with great bathrooms and comfortable beds. Be aware that the place is quite a drive from the town of Ubud.

United KingdomNothing!
The property is very quiet, amazingly located next to the rice fields and each bungalow is a room with its own terrasse. Large showers, beautiful views, really good WiFi and the pool is delightful. The food is local and great. I really enjoyed having my breakfasts on the room terrasse (they bring it to you every morning) and my dinner for the first night on arrival. The staff is amazing!!! Really lovely, welcoming, and helpful with anything you need. They are incredibly knowledgeable in helping you plan for your trip in Ubud, or bali in general (they offered guidance with scooter rental, boat trips, and other activities). The staff is very good with understanding English and French (helpful in my case) and I really cannot recommend this place enough.

AustraliaWe were staying at the hotel for 8 days and it was an excellent experience. Very nice exterior, the room and the rice fields that surround the hotel. It is very convenient that they have an on-site restaurant, laundry and even massages and scooter rental. The staff was the best, always with a smile and concerned about their guests. We would go again.

SpainThe only little thing I don’t like is that resort is very small, I spent there 6 nights, the first five were amazing, the last one 3 families with kids were checked in…so for me I didn’t really like that, they were noisy in the pool and I had to go out at 12 mins night to tell them to stop shouting and take their kids to sleep. It would be great if they make it adults only to enjoy the calmness and pease , but alone travelers and families is no Match.
The resort is far from noise in the middle of rise fields, this was the reason for me to choose..far from ubud but for me ls a plus, there is not much to do in ubud anyways…they take care of everything you need , Yuli one of the directors make your life easier. Even they rent you moto bike and you don’t need to go around finding one..breakfast was so good and included. You hear lots of nature noises which I love…remember you are in the middle of the nature, so normal to see some little insects or frogs or little animals during the night. If you are afraid of that then maybe not your place.

IndonesiaBali Sawah Indah is one of the best places I have stayed in Bali. Everything is made with care and attention to detail. The room is spacious, with amazing views of rice fields and the jungle at the horizontal where the sun rises. I highlight how immaculate it is the accommodation. Full of small details that make your stay comfortable and pleasant. The location is lovely, with a peaceful pool surrounded by beautiful plants and flowers. Above all, their kind staff, especially Bu Kadek, will do their best to make your stay memorable. I recommend their kitchen and local food. You must try. The perfect place for an escape with your partner.

We loved everything, the location in the middle of gorgeous rice fields while being close to Ubud, the bungalows with so much comfort, the restaurant and above all the people - they will make your stay unique. Our little daughter in particular was spoiled ;) thank you for everything!

United KingdomWe liked everything
The whole property is very well looked after and beautiful. Ponds with fish, greenery and no mosquitoes (I saw only one). There were gardeners working to maintain the plants every morning. The 4 villas are fairly spread and have nice views. The villas are surrounded with some tropical plants, flowers and soft like carpet grass. The small infinity pool was just a cherry on top. The water always crystal clear and no chlorine added, just salts :) this was such a good news as our little daughter is not allowed to swim in chemicals. She enjoyed swimming everyday. There is lots of privacy and intimacy so we felt like at home. Never closed the villa’s door and had a wonderful relaxing stay. Our bedroom window + sliding door and terrace had a lot of privacy, yet the view was stunning… rice fields and nature. There were days when local men were working on their fields or chased dozens of unruly ducks what was very entertaining to watch. Our bedroom was a good size and decorated with style. I emailed the property in advance to ask if the additional bed will have a mosquito net and the host arranged one (actually bought a new one) without any fuss, although there were no mosquitoes. I was very grateful for that. The semi-outdoor bathroom was sparkly clean, white and beautifully designed with see through walls and greenery. We supposed to stay 4 nights but we extended our stay to 7 days and we still were sorry we were leaving. The staff looked after us, including when our little girl got sick. We hired an old motorbike from the property, but it worked well and allowed us to travel to Ubud and explore nearby crafty villages. The breakfast was simple but good and tasty choices for the evening meal. Spacious restaurant with some armchairs and a bar, also a clean open to view kitchen (a bonus to see that everything is prepared and stored hygienically). We highly recommended this stunning place to people who seek peaceful stay. We’ll definitely go back there

GermanyEverything was good.
Such a wonderful place. Far away from any crowded spots. The food they served in the restaurant was very good, so we dined there every evening. These extra spendings could only be paid by cash. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The both owner as well. We had such a lovely chat with Regine. At night there are lots of natural sounds. But thats how it is in the middle of nature. We loved it. You can relax at this place with its lovely pool all day or make daytours with a rented scooter to explore the island.

IndonesiaThat we needed to leave. But we’ll be back.
I wish I keep this secret paradise for myself and don’t tell anyone else. This tiny private resort is the exact fit for an introvert like me, who needed to recharge batteries and minimize interaction with anyone. With the only 4 bungalows and the owner’s house, this was it. The bungalow has everything you may need, including the coffee plunger, lovely terrace overlooking ricefields, and the softest linen. What we didn’t expect it to be equipped with a restaurant with the cleanest kitchen I’ve ever seen in public places in Bali. The food was great. The staff is attentive to any request. The massage was pleasant and affordable. The dog and the duck keep you smiley. And I was lucky to catch some sunlight by the swimming pool amidst rainy season. Cannot wait to come back soon.
