Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SingaporeWhile we booked three rooms, the two rooms on the bottom floor had issues with insects due to their balconies facing the jungle. The narrow and poorly lit pathway to the entrance was another drawback, especially at night. Additionally, the sudden blackouts in all the rooms were frustrating. Although the owner mentioned it was a common problem in the area, it would be much better if this issue were resolved to improve the overall experience.
We booked three rooms, and overall, the hotel has a very strategic location. It’s close to the main road, shops, and many attractions, which made getting around easy and convenient. The balcony views, especially from the bottom rooms facing the small jungle, were peaceful and scenic. The cleanliness of the rooms and bathrooms was great, making our stay comfortable. The room on the second floor was particularly pleasant, with little to no insect issues, which was a relief.

United StatesLocation was okay close to supermarket, however I had to move closer to dentist office on the other side of town. The bugs the height of the table I do realize that this place was made for short people but I think y'all should upgrade for taller people to be more convenient for everyone. Not knowing there was a plug-in adapter in my drawer that I could plug into the wall till the day I left would have been nice to know. All these rooms say they have a TV but they don't so I would like whatever is on the post to be accurate and truthful that's all.
I liked the views, kitchen, support, kindness and cleanliness of the staff. Comfort of the bed, safety and security that allowed me to feel at ease. The peace and quiet

SloveniaThey had the false information that the rooms are 35 m2 big, but the room was around 15 m2. However they were nice enough to prepare room for us to do yoga by the swimming pool.
Great Location, friendly staff, they were very flexible in providing solutions, they serve food, offer information and transportation to and from airport. Rooms are super cute. You are in the center yet it feels like being in the jungle.

SwitzerlandUnfortunately my room was downstairs and had a lot of humidity which resulted of a bad smell. Bedsheets felt humid too.
Quiet house just a bit away from hustle and bustle of the city centre but very close to everything walking distance for the shopping and boutiques. The pool is definitely a big plus! And the view and nature around! Staff is welcoming and helpful.

United KingdomNothing to not like.
Great hosts, very helpful. The accomodation is in a quiet area hidden away in the middle of ubud. Swimming pool on the roof is great & the AC in the room is fantastic. Nice to have a water unit/dispenser in the room we're staying. Very close to bars, restaurants, temples, spas & paradiso cinema which we would highly recommend. Originally was supposed to be here for 1 night but we've extended it to 4 to end our trip in Bali.

PolandI didn't like that the list of facilites in the room was not actuallly real. For example windows were not soundproofing at all. On the list there was also a washing machine. We asked about loundry and firstly stuff said that it is for 25k/kg, but later said that it is included for us and deleted it from our bill. But next day another person said that we actually have to pay for the loundry. When we were checking out stuff shared with us our bill summary so we went to atm to withdraw cash. During a payment they said different price (higher). I hope it was just a misunderstanding.
Localization and swimming pool. It was great to have an opportunity to eat a breakfast or lunch and rent a mitorbike at the hotel. Welcome fruit was very kind

United StatesThe room was clean, but was a little moldy. I tried to air it out with the fan and AC, but the smell stayed. I tried to sit outside then, but folks nearby were smoking, so I ended up at the pool for much of my stay. Mold is a part of life in Bali unfortunately
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool was clean and delightfully cool. It was wonderful to rest by the pool and look at the stars and the moon. Grateful for the fresh fruit available for snacks. It was far enough from the road to be quiet. The price was good for the value.

UkraineThe walls are not too thick, so in case there are passionate couples next door, you're going to know about that :D
A great place to stay with limited budget. Very cozy, quiet, great communication with the staff. You get all you need in your room - a big bed, private bathroom, air conditioner, mirror, wardrobe and a kettle. There's also a small pool there, big enough to swim some laps, but not huge. And you can sit outside and read quietly. The location is basically turistic center of Ubud, many shops nearby, cafes, massage places, temples. You can easily get a gojek from the place to get anywhere you need. The beach is quite far from here (1 hour ride min), but there's forest, rice fields and coffee plantations nearby.
