At night there were many sounds to be heard from the surroundings; cuddling chickens, barking dogs and building/construction sounds from nearby land plot, mosque prayer calls; unfortunately it was necessary to sleep with earplugs in. The prices for the meals and for services such as transport and massage are quite high, we found this somewhat exaggerated.

This hotel is a true oasis. The houses are beautifully situated. Wonderfully quiet during the day, with a nice swimming pool and great restaurant. The meals are of a high level and service very pleasant. The staff is very warm hearted and helpful.

This is a great accomodation! We visited Lempuyang temple, what is very close by! The staff gave us many nice idease to visit around. We visited the priest in his house and see the real authentic Bali! The Indonesian food and pizza and burger were the best!

I booked this hotel last minute on the day. I was riding my Vespa to this area and decided to stay for the night instead of riding back to Seminyak. It exceeded my expectation! the location was great as I was planning to ride up to Lempuyang Temple at 6am and it was so closed. By the time I got back I still had time to take a plunge in the pool with Mount Agung visible in the background. The room itself was really nice, quite and spacious. Very romantic, I am planning to bring my partner back here. The common areas are great and lots of spots of very picturesque moments.

The location is far from the airport (2 hours drive) and isolated. No service around, you can only use service and meals of the resort, which is high-quality yet a bit expensive though. It would be appropriate for people who love nature and want to stay away from noisy cities.

Friendly staff, delicious food, wonderful scenery. I love hearing birds, chickens and crickets singing. Besides, it's pretty close to the famous "Gate of heaven". You should hire the driver from the hotel to visit nearby places of interest.

It is a bit isolated and to move anywhere you need to organize a transfer ( very easy to setup though). The villa is amazing but the bedroom could me cosier.

it feels like an oasis in the middle of nature. The staff is incredibly welcoming and the restaurant is great. A good basis to explore the east of the island.

The location is very far away from everything, nothing around it, not suitable for kids , more for adults wanting to be away from the normal environment of cities, not for people who used to nature and natural life, small insects & creatures. Food options are limited

The location is good if you’re looking for something away from the city, peace and quiet, simple living. Natural views are incredible, staff are amazing and will go out of their ways to help you feel comfortable.perfect place for a couple to stay one or two nights only.

The management is not reliable at all as major very noisy construction work was in process next to the garden of my room and when I asked about it the operational manager told me the hotel didn't know anything about it...except the construction work was done by the hotel on their own land ! Also when I required that the blind bungalow be advertised online in Booking's app I got no answer. I mentioned a bad review would follow and I was then immediately blackmailed by the operational manager: give us a good review or we'll cancel your late check out time and you'll have to leave at 10am (actually check out time is at 11am). When I said this would all be reviewed they didn't mention again I would have to leave at 10am. But I believe that so many good reviews in the hotel are obtained by granting advantages in exchange of good reviews. Also all the food is frozen in the restaurant: fish and meat are hard as stone. So better stay away because the decor is nice but it's very unpleasant to stay in this hotel. The staff is highly hypocrite.

Luxurious resort unfortunately located in the middle of villages therefore the place is very noisy with several temples and mosques singing at the same time, dogs barking, motorbikes roaring, loud sound systems of the neighbors. Also the road is nearby and traffic is very noticeable. Beware because the king size room has no window at all and its patio is surrounded by very high walls...so no view at all and you feel in jail in this unit. This is not advertised and the trick is you're being offered instead an upgrade with a view for additional money. Greedy management.

staff quoted stupid prices for taxis and said you cannot use the grab or Gojek app, charger 250k for a 10 minute taxi on the way back opened Gojek got the same journey for 27k. wouldn’t mind as the taxi driver from the hotel actually worked there so not as if it’s an external company

Be aware of these liars!!! they locked all the doors to the other bedrooms where we could have hid from the bugs which bit me. bad management refused refund and the worst services we have got in Bali.

If you like centipedes, millipedes, geckos, mosquitoes, flies, wasps, ants, spiders, dragonflies and grasshoppers in the bedroom and kitchen then this is the place for you. just don’t get bitten when sleeping
