The location in the middle of the jungle is amazing, and it is just like what I expected from the pictures: calm with the river that flows by the pool, with individual huts that are private yet with amazing views, super comfortable and with a delicious breakfast included. All the staff is very nice which makes the experience all the more enjoyable!

The area was about 20 minutes out of Ubud & there was little to do close-by, however this is made clear in the description. As the traffic was so hectic in Ubud we opted to take seperate Grab bikes with our luggage which was a bit inconvenient however by far the fastest option.

Wayan & her team were lovely and the hospitality was exceptional during our stay. The villa was beautiful, peaceful & very clean. The grounds and gardens were well maintained and the pool was very relaxing. With only 4 villas in the complex it is a very tranquil & peaceful getaway from the rush of Bali.

This is not a place located in the center of city, and as the place doesn't have a restaurant inside, you'll need to plan your meals well. Food delivery might not accept the orders late night.

The location was very peaceful, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy nature. While the room wasn’t very large, it was comfortable enough for a short stay. We especially enjoyed the lovely view from the balcony.

Like most places in Bali (except central Ubud) you will need some transportation to get to the temples and beaches. Due to the traffic and lack of sidewalks, Walking is not easy in Bali.

This is a beautiful, quiet, and relaxing place to stay in Ubud. The friendless staff! Delicious breakfast! The pool is small but it's empty/available most of the time as the hotel only has a few bungalows. If you are looking for a quiet place to relax, this is it!

Nothing. Absolutely perfect would recommend to anyone who wants a natural, eco and nature filled escape to Bali.

Bamboo Eco Lodge was beautiful! Our room was amazing, made of bamboo and overlooking the jungle and river. I don’t have enough good things to say about this property! If you’re looking for relaxed natural accommodation then this is the place for you. The room was very comfortable with a large double bed and mosquito net and fan, although the room feels open and airy it’s actually fully sealed so no insects get inside. The bathroom was more open to the outside but this was such a lovely place to shower and get ready. Waylan was extremely helpful and kind and we booked an East Bali tour with Ketut next door while we were there. The swimming pool is at the bottom of the small hill and is situated next to the river, it is so peaceful and we had it to ourselves most times we went down - the wifi even reached! While we were down there we ended up seeing loads of beautiful birds and butterflies too which was wonderful. That was absolutely worth it and Ketut was also very helpful and welcoming to Bali. The lodge is about 30 minutes drive out of Ubud but this is absolutely a good thing, Ubud is great fun but very busy and coming out of the busy streets into our peaceful home away from home was perfect. Plus with the Grab app it cost only about £3.50 to go into town one way.

Little hard to find but hidden away and beautiful! Only problem was the pool was out of service when we went so couldn’t use it at all! But the lodges are lovely, just expect bugs/lizards to come in (it’s very clean though) - it’s an ecolodge! Staff are so lovely and accommodating, would come back happily!

We had two single mosquito nets as opposed to one large one on a double bed which was a bit fiddly but not a massive issue. Location is a little while from the centre of ubud which was our fault but took around 15/20mins to get to the centre on a scooter no problem and very cheap.

Staff were all extremely friendly and they made us feel at home. The owner even made my partner who was ill at one point a hot lemon drink from lemons grown from her garden. So sweet! The room itself was lovely although bedding is a bit dated and we loved the outdoor shower area. The location of the villas is set in a stunning jungle next to the villa and away from any noise (bar the wildlife which was amazing). Breakfast was tasty and cooked fresh every morning by the owner which made it feel extremely homely. Although set in the jungle we didn’t have issues with any bugs entering the room. We had a mosquito net provided and even spray and a plug to keep them at bay!
