The prepaid meal deal wasn't worth it, I would simply pay a la carte. The tipping situation was confusing. The resort needs a little 7/11-type shop or corner.

Property had a nice relaxed atmosphere. Access from Singapore was very easy and quick. Staff were attentive and friendly. We enjoyed our 3 days. The birdlife was prolific.

Most of the staff I in hotels are trained to be polite. In Banyan Tree the staff IS kind. We were welcome with smiles, attention and love we never experienced in other hotels (and we travel a lot). The manager has been very generous, moving us to a better villa since the workers were making sometimes noise building a roof. The SPA treatments were fabulous. We are still walking on clouds after loving touch of Rose and Thalia. The breakfast buffet was bountiful, food in the restaurants tasty. But really what makes this hotel special is how attentive the staff is- they were calling us by our names, remembering well our villa number, what we order last time for dinner and what tea we like to drink most. I am really impressed. I wish I was treated in every hotel like here at the Banyan Tree. What I like is also that they support local schools and protection projects for the turtles. This place is simple a great vibe. Thank you 🙏🏻

The food in the cove restaurant was very average. And regarding the rooms, although spacious, the room decor felt a bit dated for the price

The staff were wonderful, so friendly and helpful at all times and really made us feel at home. The location is stunning and the pools were great. Also one night we came back to our room to rose petals and candles in the bath, which was really special!

The Christmas Eve buffet at Treetops had very little vegetarian options.

The environment is peaceful and quiet, the service is excellent. I enjoyed my yoga session. Everything is conveniently located. I appreciated the Xmas Eve celebration with the staff choir, and complimentary drinks and snacks

A small thing, but for Europeans the breakfast was limited. I appreciate that the majority of guests were Asian, but after 6 days I did get bored of breakfast!

Beautiful hotel- a little outdated in some areas, but not every hotel can be shiny and new! The hotel staff were amazing- nothing was too much and they always had a smile on their face. The restaurants were all very good and we enjoyed eating every night

The jacuzzi and pool are not covered so lots of dirt and insects. The buggy took quite a while to arrive. At times, we need to some quite a few reminders. No free shuttle bus to elsewhere.

The property is well maintained. Clean and neat. Amazing scenery from the room. The service staff were excellent! Fantastic services through out our stay. Very attentive, friendly and helpful. Beach activities were great too except equipments are limited if for big group of family.

Our family recently had the most memorable stay at Banyan Tree Bintan, and we cannot thank the team enough for making it such a wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality exceeded all expectations. The view from our villa was breathtaking, offering a serene and picturesque backdrop that made every moment special. Having access to the other hotels and facilities on the beach was great, as we had young children to entertain as well. The resort is so quiet - perfect for a relaxing break. All the staff from initial pickup at the ferry are friendly, and helpful. Breakfast at treetops is delicious with lots on offer. The food at Saffron is delicious. The treatments at the spa were so good. The hardest decision is do you relax by the pool or swim in white sanded private beach

I like everything about this place. Wish they got a bit of radicals sports offerings, like snorkeling or scuba diving, I would def be going.

it is situated on the hill and depends where your villa is, you are dependent on a buggy… you can walk/run on the beach though

People there are just amazing!! everyone at the reception, restaurants, pool, drivers, cleaners are super helpful and friendly!! The beach is very nice and very clean. At the pools big towels, water and fresh cold scented small towels are provided❤️

Some of these can be improved such as: 1) Offering complimentary ferry transport from the ferry to the hotel. 2) Have a designated mini-mart that is stipulated at Banyan Tree itself sells more varieties like snacks, drinks, etc instead of having to go to Cassia. Moreover, not many varieties of items to buy. 3) The villa should have a clean pool-like relaxation pool upon guests checking in rather than guests having to call the receptionist to change new water. 4) TV can be improved like SMART TV able to access Netflix or more channels.

Loves their breakfast at the treetops. Amazing spread of a variety of breakfasts to choose from. Not to mention a breathtaking view of the sea and enjoying the breeze. The staff were friendly, polite, and attentive. Especially we wish to delegate and express my compliments to these staff namely Darwis, Karis & Elfhadi whom they are taking care of us throughout our stays in Banyan Tree. Not only that they demonstrated beyond the extra mile to take care of our needs. This is something that exceeds our expectations in terms of customer service and professionalism. Hope Banyan Tree will recognize these staff and award them for their good customer service. Kudos to them! Keep up the good work!
