I can't think of any negatives about the resort.

Banyan tree is a Fabulous place. I cannot fault it. The staff are so caring and attentive. The accommodation was amazing. The buggy service that you needed to get around the resort was very efficient. Great restaurants. We were looked after so well.

It's sad to see so much litter coming in from the sea/shipping lanes/fishermen/surrounding countries (?) and I guess it would take a huge international effort to stop this from happening. And while the beach is cleaned regularly, there is still quite a bit of litter piled at the far end of the beach. It would be nice to clean the beach completely.

Wonderful staff, very friendly. Our villa was very pleasant. The swimming pools were delightful and the beach was beautiful & cleaned regularly.

Excellent Service. Amazing staff. I would like to give Mr . Suparman a thumps up for the effort of setting up the Dinner of the Legend 2x because it was raining. Thou we ended up eating in the restaurant his service was excellent. He still made our anniversary special. Thank you also to the staffs who set up our room and make it so romantic. It's worth an experience to be in Banyan Tree. Will definitely come back. Once again Thank you everyone.

Incredible place, very peaceful and the villa was gorgeous! Impeccable service from all the staff wherever we went or asked. The breakfast buffet was really good, and we had an amazing massage at the hotel spa.

Prices of the restaurants are way too high. We had checked the website for the menu of one of the restaurants and discovered that the actual prices were sometimes even about 50% higher. Staff told us that they were still in the process of updating the website. Nearby Cassia hotel offered more reasonable prices for food just as good.

The staff (housekeeping, front desk and the “buggy team”) is most welcoming, attentive and very friendly. Housekeeping prepared a nice surprise on our last night by decorating the villa with flower petals, tea lights and towels folded into animal figures. Breakfast was not overly sumptuous but has a great variety, from traditional Indonesian to European/ American. Overall a good breakfast to start the day with. Also nice to mention are the nature conservation efforts, to create awareness with local people and guests. We witnessed the release of new-born sea turtles.

The offer of food was good and the food at Saffron was excellent, but once you had eaten at the limited venues a few times you lacked variety and as with Asia drinks in particular wine was very expensive

we stayed in an ocean view villa , which was very spacious quiet and beautiful views . we had great service from all the staff the pools were great and the beach was very clean and the water very clean and good to swim in and also safe for kids

In villa dining packages recommended! they offered bbq or Indonesian set..10 different types of food,absolutely delicious.4 different types of desert.Spa n scrub was fabulous !
