Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaThe area is nice but i recomendend getting scooters to go around as it is not on the main area. You can walk to mushroom bay but in a hot day the last thing you want is to walk. The pool area was fantastic , happy hour with a great view. Perhaps the breakfast could have been better but enjoyed the one day we ate it. We went out to grab nice coffee at the Coffe shops. There is a few massage places within walking distance.

AustraliaThe fact we had to leave
Truly the whole experience, it's a step back in time in island life. You can relax or explore as much as you want. The Bay Shore Huts just makes the experience even that much better.

AustraliaNot a big concern, more of an island issue but it was a bit far away from the main part of town + activities. We managed to walk to Devil's Tears but in the heat it gets very exhausting. There are no Grab/Gojek on the whole island, and taxis overcharge (one asked for $20AUD for a 5 minute drive and wouldn't budge). So I would only recommend Nusa Lembongan if you can withstand walking in that heat, don't mind staying at your resort, are willing to book a motorbike or don't mind getting overcharged for taxi services :)
Very relaxing stay. Located at the end of the street with a few massage places and restaurants/lunch spots within walking distance. The beach is not too far of a walk either (I believe Mushroom Bay). Absolutely loved the pool with the water view. Just to note you can also see Mount Agung (volcano) directly across it on days that are not cloudy which was a plus! Spent most of our time in the resort. Also, here's a tip that saved us, most restaurants offer free pickup/drop off services if you have a booking with them, just send them a message over Whatsapp to ask.

Did lots of research before booking this place. It didn’t disappoint! Very close to mushroom beach where the boats drop you off! About 10 minutes walk & easy to find on google maps! Our room was ready & we was taken straight away we previously asked for rooms 1 or 2 but we actually were at the back & we preferred it still a sea view room! Loved it so quirky! Bed was comfortable it’s not 5 star but we loved it! Loved the outside shower looking up at the stars whilst showering watching the birds there were bugs so if you don’t like them then not go you but it was right up our street! Fridge with daily water but lots of shops nearby so you could add snacks if wanted seats were comfy on the balcony & drying rack a good idea although it was rainy season so does rain quite a lot & I mean rain but it Was fun! The pool was great too very warm but nice to have cocktails by the pool! Breakfasts were tasty too but there was a lot a bit too much for us to be fair! We ate in the restaurant one night & we were the only ones in there but it was lovely lots of other restaurants nearby to choose from too just do your research! Hire a bike if you want to see the whole island we didn’t have our licence so we booked a golf buggy for 700 all day with Subali just near mushroom beach +62 878 5764 8856 very helpful please note take photos of buggy before you take it & no insurance but so fun & great way to see the island we spent all day looking around & covered up so to protect you from rain & sun loved it! Definitely book a trip with the hotel ask Nyoman & he will help for sure booked to see the manta rays & snorkelling & it was probably one of the best trips we’ve ever had it was unbelievable! Price was reasonable too they take you to the boat from the hotel go early as it gets busy later on! They give you water towels & a snack snorkelling gear provided & they take an go pro & send you the photos a couple of days later!

AustraliaDon’t organise any snorkelling trips with hotel, much cheaper to go direct to snorkelling company who will organise a free hotel pick up. We were overcharged, annoying when you are actually a hotel guest.
Two swimming pools , very comfortable rooms.

AustraliaThey say you can swim in the beach in front of the property. You can but it is not ideal. Not easy access, current strong, lots of boats. Better to walk 8 mins to mushroom beach. Staff member / manager quite pushy to promote their tours, all about the commission!
Loved the huts, very glad I booked ocean front. Quiet property.

AustraliaShort walk to mushroom bay. Outdoor bathrooms may not suit everyone but not an issue for our group.
Lovely large rooms with comfortable beds. Nice location on the water. Suitable for people with limited mobility. Easy pool and room access with limited stairs into the room and a step down to the outdoor bathroom. Small quiet property.

AustraliaIf you don’t like quiet and rather the hustle and bustle of Bali then this isn’t for you. We did our first 3 nights on nusa Lembongan and although I loved it I was ready to get back to beach bars and live music.
The property organised out boat transfer with setia boat ferry. Everything was so simple. Rooms were amazing and staff very accommodating

Lovely smaller villa accommodation. We had a pool view villa - view from bed was pool with ocean behind it. Rooms were comfortable and dreamy. Really was like something from a story book. Staff were friendly and welcoming. We hired scooters from site - easy. Massage in spa was good. Breakfast was basic but good. Had a couple of meals at the restaurant & they were yumm. Good value for money. Would highly recommend.

AustraliaThe restaurant menu needs more vegan/vegetarian options and more Indonesian food choices.
Absolutely loved this place. It was sad to leave. The location is fantastic right on the water and the pool and restaurant have a beautiful outlook. We had a water view bungalow which I’d lightly recommend. Restaurant staff were lovely. Rooms were cleaned very well every day. Easy walk to Mushroom Beach and cafes and eateries. We’ll be back!

AustraliaThe huts are beautifully presented but the grass roof has a bit of a damp smell.
What an amazing location! We loved being right on the water in our little Balinese hut. The bathroom was outdoors which at first I was sceptical about but I had the most magical shower under the stars! The staff were so fantastic and organised everything from scooters to snorkeling and spa time! Love the onsite spa also. Norman was a terrific snorkeling guide and we saw the mantas!
