Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesThe room wasn’t clean when we checked in, the reception responded swiftly and had it taken care of
Great service by the hotel. Helped us get a tour around Ubud area and even tickets to Nusa Penida, although at a little overpriced rates. The staff was very cooperative and helpful. The room with the private villa was amazing and the whole resort had a calming vibe to it.

Hong KongRefer the point above. The lights in the bathroom ( Villa 1V1) are less bright. No shower curtains and the curtain which separates the bathroom window and the bedroom doesn't close well. Power sockets can be increased for charging gadgets, phones, etc. The bathroom ( shower heads ) are a bit old and this definitely needs to be replaced.
Breakfast is not up to the mark and can be improved . Very limited choices on local Indonesian/Balinese breakfast which I feel should be the focus. Coffee variety can be increased. The fruit juice is highly diluted. The bread slices need to be kept in a box. The toaster should be a roller one where the guests can self use than getting the bread burnt in the toaster.

SingaporeOur room was really very dirty under the beds etc, think piles of dust and cobwebs. Maybe just ask if you need it extra clean, eg kids with dust allergies like mine. Big holes in flooring / roof area of shower Staff didn’t really show us around the villa and we then had issues with some things like AC remotes. Breakfast is a little repetitive, if you have young western children maybe consider bringing cereals and pastries for them to eat if they can not eat egg for example.
It’s far from the noise and busy central ubud. Lovely rice paddy view from restaurant but not the 2bed villas. Staff are friendly.

United StatesThe rooms are extremely outdated, particularly the bathrooms and look like they haven’t been properly cleaned in years. My towels had mystery stains on them, as did the bathtub, sink looked like it had been neglected for a long time. The food at the restaurant (at least the western dishes) are horrible.
The resort itself is gorgeous; it’s surrounded by lush green jungle and has a beautiful pool area. Juice is made fresh

IndonesiaThe breakfast menu is so limited with standard taste. No cereal available.
The view surrounding the villas is super refreshing and so peaceful. The staff are always so friendly and helpful. We stayed in one villa with private pool. The place is quite old but not so bad at all as you can see the padis field from the pool.

The place was really cozy especially it has a private pool options. All the staff were really helpful, whenever I made a call to receptionist or kitchen, they always answer fast.

SingaporeThe location turned out to be disappointing, as I had been misled by other comments. It is situated quite far from the city (8KM) and away from the main road. Although I anticipated the presence of lizards, we faced more significant issues with rodents and baby scorpions, which could have been dangerous if any of us were bitten. Another concerning aspect was the monotonous breakfast served daily. After just two days, we grew tired of having the same meal every morning, and we had expected some variety in the menu. Their transportation service was not worth using as they charged a premium without providing any added value. Instead, we opted to rent scooters from a nearby provider for half the price. Most of the rooms were in poor condition, equipped with old lock and key systems instead of access cards. The sliding doors had enough gaps to allow pests and rodents easy access to the rooms, even on higher floors. Furthermore, the gardener's daily presence with a noisy grass cutter disrupted the expected tranquility and peaceful environment.

AustraliaThe staff didn't have a buggy to carry our luggage. Apparently they had one before. Being a family of 5, we had alot of luggage and it was a fair walk. Their staff did their best but it's not the most efficient way to run a big facility like this. Also, I expected more traditional art/decor in our room to give the feel of Bali, very plain room - but beautifully maintained garden
The staff are just gorgeous. Weda and her colleagues made it very pleasant for us. They were helpful with the shuttle, added complimentary breakfast for us and the rice fields view at Breakfast and the pool was so amazing. The breakfast was simple yet ample. Whole place was very clean. The room service was prompt and very consistent service
