Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaThe bed was springy and not the most comfortable. The bathroom was very mouldy, and the shower didn’t drain very well. The drain was full of another girls long blonde hair from the previous guests which was gross. The air conditioner took a long time to cool the room down, and didn’t make the room nice and icy cold, mostly just a tolerable temperature.
We stayed over Nyepi. The restaurant was open on Nyepi which we appreciated. Meals were tasty, and cheap. Complimentary breakfast daily was fine. Nothing fancy, not much to choose from, but did the job. The rice terrace outside of the room was beautiful and calming. The room was nice and quiet. The room nice sized, good fridge, kettle, coffee. Location was good, an easy walk into Ubud town. The pizza shop directly opposite from Abi praya is 10/10 Staff were fine, not overly friendly. The gardens and pond are beautiful, calming jungle atmosphere.

United KingdomBath was quite old and not very clean - did not use for this reason. Shower good pressure and temperature but again quite old. Complimentary Breakfast OK but nothing too exciting.
Very helpful and friendly staff, always willing to accommodate. Big spacious rooms and big comfortable beds, with good AC. Facilities broadly as described and able to give good recommendations

AustraliaBreakfast was not great. Although included with room, I went out to a cafe for the last 4 or the 5 days I stayed there so I could get tasty food and drinkable coffee. Looks better in pics on booking.com than in real life. Could do with some renovations/updating. Neighbouring bars are noisy at night,

AustraliaWe were given the oldest room on the property, which wasn’t shown in the photos when booking which was disappointing. The bathroom had an awful smell and the shower took forever to turn on.
Location was amazing and the space of the room was great

AustraliaThe coffee at breakfast is really bad (you only get half a cup and they don’t seem to use a filter so you get a centimetre of sludge in the bottom of your cup)
Great location on Jalan Bisma which has lots of spas, restaurants and shopping but also a short walk to the main areas of Ubud. I was very happy with my suite room. It was large, had a great bathroom including a big stone bathtub. The suites are individual bungalows so there is little noise from your neighbours. The suites also has a spacious outside patio which looks over the small rice fields. If possible I would avoid suites 2 & 3 as they are closest to the pool in the neighbouring property and there was a fair bit of noise from children screaming. The property puts a lot of effort into the tropical gardens which are just gorgeous. The pool is a decent size and also has a great view over the rice fields. They did ask me to pre-order breakfast (the meal & the time) the night before. But when I forgot it didn’t seem to be a problem. It’s easier if you don’t know what time you’re going to wake up. The breakfast was generous with a selection of hot dishes, juices & fruit platters. The banana pancakes with chocolate sauce are fantastic. For the price I paid, I think Abipraya is good value. I’m already planning my next stay

New ZealandBathrooms need an upgrade and some shelves for shampoo etc. . But there is a screen to stop the whole bathroom floor getting wet which is good.
Loved the rice fields view with the colonial balcony / verandah. Shower has good pressure. The rooms were beautiful and loved the extra wardrobe which allowed me to put all my clothes away really well. The location was excellent. If you eat at restaurants on the same street, then you are paying approximately $6 a main course. Main streets in Ubud are a little more. highly recommended the water rafting and Kubrick ATB which can be booked as a package. Just don’t use the Tour operator directly outside Abhipraya as he scammed us out of funds.

New ZealandThe bathroom could use an update and a deep clean. The rice paddies are looking a little sparse, but that may be the time of year
Fantastic location - an easy walk to Monkey Forest Road. Lots of bars and restaurants around with live music. We didn’t find it too loud at night (but we were visiting during the rainy season). We loved the pool after a hot day of walking the city.

United StatesThey had so much construction going on! It started at 6:30 in the morning and just kept going until after dinner. The “smart” tv only got YouTube and would not let us connect our Netflix account and at first the TV wasn’t even connected. There are also a boatload of mosquitos and there were any zappers or anything to mitigate them.
The gardens were beautiful though the rice paddy in all of their promotional materials was just a giant mud puddle when we visited in December. The location was perfect and close to many great restaurants. The bed was very comfortable and we loved the giant bath tub! They were also very kind and prepared a birthday surprise for my child!

United KingdomThere was a lot of noise at night - loud music coming from a local club/restaurant on several nights, and very loud wildlife (a lizard in my room was cheeping all night, and lots of louder noises outside my room). This isn’t necessarily the hotel’s fault, of course, but could be annoying if you’re sensitive to noise. There was also some construction happening within the hotel during the day, which involved lots of drilling and made relaxing by the pool tricky. The shower was also rarely warm.
Close to central Ubud. Staff very polite and helpful. Room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was speedy and delicious.

IndiaThere was construction going which hampered our experience. Also, Since we were looking for vegetarian options in breakfast, the menu offered very limited option. We had to skip the BF on last day only because we didn't had options.
Staff is really amazing. They are really friendly and very accommodative. The overall property is very green and clean and you would love it (only if you book a suite).
