Hotel is close to the road and motorbikes are going frequently during day, but at night it is all silent.

Room was clean, we had a great view from the balcony, good breakfast, pool is made for Instagram pictures but a little too cold. I would consider to go back here again

Location was great trekking from the doorstep to local waterfalls and the village. The staff were very attentive and friendly. The pool was beautiful with great views. We stayed for 3 nights and had dinner each evening which was really tasty and great choice. The hotel provided us with a map for a trek to 3 waterfalls all within walking distance and offered to collect us at the end, but we had lunch in Munduk and walked back.

It was secluded stay. Up the mountains. It was cosy. Service was tip top. Rooms were spacious and clean. The place was so mesmerising that we did not care that therr was no TV! We spent the time enjoying the beauty of the place and the warmth of the people in Bintang Munduk

The only suggestion we could make, is that the food felt westernized to the point of compromising the authenticity.

The location was fantastic, and the property was beautiful. The view from our room, the restaurant and the pool were all stunning. It was very close to nearby walking trails and waterfalls. The staff helpfully walked us through how to do treks on our own with a map they provided us.

bathroom lacks brightness, and cleanliness could be improved. Unfortunately, the room’s soundproofing is inadequate, so you can hear the neighbors, and smoke from adjacent balconies can be bothersome at times. The breakfast could also be enhanced

The hotel is more beautiful in person than in the photos! The staff is warm, attentive, and always ready to assist. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and well-maintained, which is quite rare. The bedding is good and king-sized beds. The view from the room, overlooking the pool and surrounding nature, is simply amazing

- We suffered an invasion of ants in our room and the staff promptly gave us another one. - There was an error in our billing and when we notified the hotel it was immediately corrected and the reimbursement made by hand at our next destination, another hotel across the island.

- Beautiful decent-sized infinity pool with stunning views to the forest. - Cozy pool-side restaurant with high quality home cooking at very reasonable prices. - Extremely polite and friendly staff always ready to help. - Possibility to hire local guide to visit nearby waterfalls and spices trees and plants, highly recommended.

Stunning setting with beautiful rooms with balconies to enjoy the view. We had a idillic 2 night stay. The staff went out of their way to be helpful and make us feel welcome. We also enjoyed their cooking course one evening with a fantastic feast to enjoy. This is the perfect setting from which to explore the local waterfalls. We would definitely return. We loved Bintang Munduk. We are travelling with 3 kids and stayed in a villa with private pool. It was a welcome escape from the craziness of the Bukit and Batur. So tranquil with all the bird sounds. The staff were exceptional, the rooms comfortable. Would highly recommend.

Bintang Munduk is perfectly situated to easily walk to many of the beautiful waterfalls and the rice fields amongst lush forest growth .. the roads to both are peaceful.. the property itself overlooks a valley and the pool is clean and well positioned for relaxing .. we spent 3 nights here which was perfect for exploring and relaxing and the food selection was generous.. I am pescatarian and the restaurant caters well for that and vegetarians and very reasonably priced .. there was no need to venture out to eat .. at night we would have a pre dinner drink at the pleasant bar .. the manager and staff were always very helpful and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again and can recommend staying at Bintang Munduk

We loved our stay at Bingtang Munduk , room lovely, food good but what made our stay amazing was the team that looked after us, especially Andri and Edy who took us on a trek to see beautiful waterfalls and informed us of everything in such beautiful surroundings

Bintang Munduk is the perfect location to easily walk to the waterfalls and rice fields without having to pass through traffic areas ..the road at the property passes through the quiet village and both walks have spectacular scenery .. the staff were always encouraging to contact them if we found we needed to be collected for the return .. the road to the rice fields is at times hilly but we are a fit couple in their 60s so we enjoyed the walk.. we found the service from the manager and staff to be exceptional and the food and drink selection and pool were of good quality.. we have been coming to Bali for 40 years and can totally recommend staying here and will stay again ..

Change the toilet ring as it looks old (but still very clean).

The attention of the local hosts is amazing. I have been around the world and never in my life had seen such a great attention from the hotel workers. Thanks to all you I am rating this place as 10. The place is beautiful and in the middle of the jungle! Lovely for a peaceful stay and run away from busy Canggu.
