Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

FranceWhilst the position is ideal adjacent to the beach during the day, at night the "strip" becomes noisy with locals revving on mopeds and cruising up and down in noisy groups often until 3am. It's impossible to get any sleep sadly. I'm amazed the authorities don't close the road after say 10pm.
Lovely presentation on the beach road. Looks like a tropical cottage setting. The staff were lovely

MalaysiaFeels dirty everywhere you go, especially the common area/dining room that you’ll find lizard poop everywhere you look. They should really do something to upkeep the place like reception which is basically just a bar counter. Not that close to everything, still need a motorbike. No shower gel provided, they didn’t refill the shampoo dispenser. Toilet is clogged and sink is leaked.
Bed is comfortable, breakfast was decent that they give you options (pancake, full breakfast, and nasi goreng) which they take order day before. Location is alright, it’s at Kuta Beach but the beach itself is mediocre and not that clean. Daily housekeeping. Hair dryer and iron provided.

United KingdomCould’ve been a bit cleaner, some stains on the sheets but nothing major.
Nice location (need moped though as it is very far from any nice beaches - kuta beach isn’t that nice), kuta town only a 20 min walk. Really good value for money though, stayed for 8 nights and had a very pleasant time there.

AustraliaBreakfast is bad. Small portion, not many options and bad quality. Since they don’t open the kitchen in the morning, they ask you what time you want breakfast on the next day (which they cook the night before and then warm up in the morning), and it is also very inconvenient since on holidays I don’t want to schedule a certain time for breakfast the night before. Better book without breakfast and go elsewhere, there’s plenty of good places. The tap in the toilet was bad. Water going everywhere but to the sink. We had to open it just a tiny bit not to get wet. Almost every night you have the teenagers on the streets playing around with their bikes, accelerating and being very noisy. We were at the back room luckily, but we could still hear them. If you’re in one of the front rooms, may God help you. They don’t go until too late, maybe 11pm. There’s mothballs in the toilet, which turns to a not very good smell…but I understand it might be to keep roaches and other insects away. The bikes that the hotel offers are not the best. Better off walking to town and check other options. There’s heaps! No safe box.
Staff was super friendly and of service. Helped us sort out some trouble with a dcooter we rented and were very attentive. The location is away from Kuta centre which makes the place peaceful but close enough to walk to restaurants and shops or 1 minute scooter ride. The air con was silent and cold. Room was very spacious and balcony too. The bed was super wide and comfy.

IndonesiaThe bed was slightly uncomfortable, but I’m really nitpicking here.
It was right by the beach and the rooms, while simple, were clean and perfect for what we needed. The reception staff also helped to book us a scooter which arrived within 10 minutes of us checking in. It’s the perfect budget hotel.

SingaporePlace was near the beach, however a 15-20 minutes walk to the main Kuta street where most of the cafes and shops were at. Helpful if you know how to ride a scooter, it'll just be a 3-5 minutes ride. Room was pleasant but expect the toilets to be a little run down as compared to photos.
Right next to the beach, good for morning/evening strolls. Friendly staff, quiet ambience with a nice garden porch and lounge area up front to chill. Spacious room and comfy bed good for short stays.

United KingdomThe whole place is quite dirty and needs a good clean. It's a shame because it could be nice but it isn't well taken care of. Unfortunately the bathroom had a really bad strong smell of urine. It smelt like a very bad mens bathroom. I found it unusable. I asked the front desk and they kindly cleaned it and it was better but still had a smell. There was also mould around the shower. For the price, I'd expect a better bathroom.
Good location opposite a lovely beach. A twenty minute walk to the main area, only five on a bike. Getting a bike makes it much easier. The bed was very comfortable and the room has nice decor.

Location close to main street of Kuta (10 minutes walk or 2 minutes scooter ride) but still quiet. Friendly employees. Free water provided in room.

IndonesiaThe bed is really squeaky. And also there are a lot of different levels in the bathroom, they could be a tripping point if you are not careful
The location is great! Not that far from restaurants but far enough so the traffic is minimum. And of course it's near to the beach!

The staff waited for us to check in as we arrived late due to the speedboat delay. The room was spacious, comfy beds and pillows, air con, decent sized bathroom. We got bottled water every day, also had tea, coffee and a kettle in our room which was great. The location is right on the sea, we could hear the waves in the evening which was lovely. The staff were friendly and the food was good.

AustraliaThere were a lot of flies around which made it difficult to sit outside at times but we could sit in the gazebo which had more breeze. The restaurant was basic but it’s not far to town with many choices there.
Relatively quiet spot next to the beach (which is only swimmable at high tide). Lovely rooms in beautiful gardens.
