Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaMore hand wash in bathroom, clean towels when room cleaned.
Clean room, good location to everything. Although it was quite tricky to find at first as google maps brought us to the wrong spot and our driver ended up having to ask a local. Staff were friendly, outside of the building a bit more dated than the photos. Bed quite uncomfortable but overall was a good stay.

United KingdomA bath mat and hand soap would be nice as well as pool towels but to be fair we didn’t ask about pool towels.
Lovely small hotel with only 6 rooms. Great quiet location but next to lots of bars and restaurants. Walking distance to monkey forest and a stunning 45 minute walk through woods to rice fields. (Off apple maps) there was a quaint little cafe on the way called yellow flower. We had room on upper floor which was lovely and immaculate with no bugs in at all. Staff always there and were lovely. We chilled round the small pool once and that was nice. Aircon and shower are great.

PakistanThey were a bit low numbered in staff since we had to carry some of our luggage ourselves all the way to the room upstairs.
The property was a bit inside the street but overall it was tidy and clean. The general location was very good since it directly connects with the main Ubud streets providing access to all restaurants and facilities within a few minutes of walk.

United KingdomI would suggest a bath mat for the shower and hand soap by the sink but that’s all 😊
We absolutely loved our time here, super nice rooms and comfortable bed. We stayed here for 6 nights and are wanting to come back here again already! Location was great for us with some lovely restaurants near by and some fab bars with live singers literally on your door step. There is always someone on reception 24/7, they are so kind and always asked us if we wanted our room cleaned with fresh towels etc and happy to help with anything.

LithuaniaEverything ok except that i “met” a giant cocoroach in bathroom at night which was a ..surprise, because i dont really like them too much. Also, the road to the place from the main street is a bit downwards so if its raining you must be carefulnot to slip.

New ZealandThe shared driveway from the street was very slippery with green stuff, especially in the rain. Not sure whose responsibility this is though.
The location is fantastic, close to everything but out of the major traffic and bustle of Ubud. The staff are lovely and so quick to help. The pool is beautiful and clean. Lots of close places for breakfast, massage etc. The value for money here is fantastic. I come to Ubud a lit and I'll definitely stay here again.

AustraliaIt’s down a small darkish alley way and is a bit tricky to initially find. It’s not in the actual heart of Ubud and that’s about a 30min walk. They also charged me there an above rate which was $100 more than what I’d booked on booking.com which I should have argued.
Room was a decent size and it has a balcony that looks over the pool. The staff are there till later I. The day.

KuwaitThe WiFi was ok, but can be faster. For some reason the bathroom runs out of water, but as soon as you inform the staff they turn on the water pump and it comes back.
The staff was very friendly, the location of the hotel is good and has many cafes and restaurants around, there is a mini market as well, and it is away from street and restaurant noises.

NetherlandsThe room was smelly from mould and very humid. It was still okay to sleep, but not very comfortable. We didn't have water sometimes, so we had to ask for help, which we got. But note that after 22.00/23.00 the receptionist sleeps behind his desk, so if you need help, you will have a mission to wake him up. It puts you in a little bit of an uncomfortable position...
Great location, cute pool and nice vibe.

United StatesProviding a few more pillows on the bed would have been nice. And a better working blow drying (not provided in the room I requested one). These are not deal breakers however for staying again :)
A quaint little property just off the beaten path. The small pool on the property is a perfect place to take a refreshing dip after a long day of walking Ubud city center. Be aware that a car cannot drop you off at the front of the property so you have to pull your luggage to and from the property. The main street off the property has everything you need, excellent restaurants and coffee shops, Circle K Mart, and even an ATM.

AustraliaIt would have been nice if all the bedrooms had a safe (lock box)
Really nice rooms with a nice bathroom setup. The garden and pool was really nice and because there are not many rooms the pool wasn't busy. Nice little retreat area.

United KingdomThe breakfast was very basic but ok and the place overall was good value for money. One of the nearby bars had a live band on most nights so not as quiet in the evening but this normally finished by 11pm
We really enjoyed our stay here. It is in a great location with lots of shops, bars and restaurants on the street itself yet it felt hidden away and semi-rural waking up to the sound of cockerels and chickens in the morning. The staff were really friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and the breakfast which was served promptly on the balcony at the time of your choosing was also good (but simple). We would definitely recommend and stay here again.

AustraliaCould use a bit more attention to cleaning as bed had yellow and red stains when we arrived and the sink had toothpaste and water marks on the sides.
Central location in Ubud, walking proximity to tourist destinations and with lots of nearby cafes and stores. Very lovely and kind staff, thank you for accomodating late airport pick up and caring for our suit cases. Beautiful and cozy hotel hidden away from noise.

Australia1. Room was moldy and smelt bad 2. Stinky smell when using shower booth. 3. Real location and map were different, which made me very confused at first 4. No hair dryer in room, yet you can ask at reception. But it was so small and lack of power that I had to go hair salon to wash my long hair everyday
1. Staffs were all kind and very helpful 2. Location was slightly far away from busy street so I could take deep sleep. Easy to get anywhere in ubud city centre by foot.
