The restaurant food is basic. You can go to town / explore near by restaurants for good food.

If you are at Kintamani and if you need a quiet place with a stunning view of the lake / mountain along with hot water pool, this is the place. The place is basic / backpacker type but perfect for trekking around the area and explore the place. They can arrange the bike rentals, taxi back to other places, trekking to Mt. Batur and other activities on a nominal price.

On top of hill with real bad pavement- i was scared to rent a scooter You really can’t move around without a scooter. Mobility became a issue for me. No grab or gojeck available in the area . Local mafia has banned all online ride hailing apps

Great location for climbing Mt Batur. Beautiful hot springs and view. It was so relaxing, and I loved my stay. There are many mosquitos/flies but that is just common for the area. I stayed in the 6 person dorm and the beds were comfortable. Lots of space for bags and a locker to keep valuables. Lots of friendly people staying here so perfect for a solo traveler. And the breakfast was simple and nice!

The road going to the hostel is a bit tricky, be careful with your car/bike.

So comfortable beds in the dorms! It's possible to book the Mt Batur guide directly at the hostel, no need to book it in advance. The hot springs are amazing with a beautiful view.

flies : but again it's nature you can't complain about it. It would happen wherever I stayed in Kintamani. it's not the hostel fault.

View : Just open the room door and the splendid view (Mountain and Lake) is just in front of you. Hot spring : we can chill out in hot spring whole day while enjoying the view. This is the facility which makes this hostel 10 out of 10.

Shower head is very broken. The small holes in the shower head give different pressure and temperature. It was an actual uncomfortable shower. Staff are shy and reluctant to communicate because they don’t speak English. “Don’t look at you, don’t look at me” approach. Otherwise amazing and I cannot rate it poorly based on these things.

There are a lot of flies in Kintamani. Nothing that the hostel could have done, but they were super annoying. The road leading to the main road is very dark at night so you will need a flashlight. No AC just fan.

The room is very simple but if you are not expexting luxury, the room has all you need: super comfortable beds, shower and toilet, a fan, electric kettle and coffee. In addition the breakfast is included in the price. The garden is beautiful with a thermal pool and amazing view of the lake and mountains! Several supermarkets are close by. The hostel had a lovely cat that actually slept in our room <3 They also organized a guide for us to hike up mount Batur for sunrise although we were very last minute. A bit expensive (30€ per person) but the guide was excellent! The tour included some coffee and small pastries before taking off and a breakfast while watching the sunrise (banana toast, boiled egg and banana, and tea coffee or hot chocolate). He also took us around the crater and finally backnto the hostel.

The flies everywhere in Kintamani and in this hostel too. They were very annoying. Nothing other than flies. Go for it. This is just awesome.

The entire property gives peace to your mind. So refreshing and relaxing hot spring swimming pool, delicious breakfast & delicious food too. The best ever stay I had in Bali except the experience with flies it was annoying. Rest would definitely recommend for everyone to try this hostel.

The dorm was extremely simple: literally eight mattresses in line on the floor (hence so cheap). Was lucky to share it with two super nice backpackers. But forget privacy. They offer scooter rentals (overpriced compared to other bali locations) and a mt batur guide for 450k. Definitely not a bargain. The vibe was a bit ghostly but that has to deal with the fact that it’s low season I guess.

Beautiful location, overlooking the lake. You definitely need a scooter to move around. Loved the hot springs, perfect way to chill in the slightly fresh evenings or after the mt batur hike. Staff is helpful.

The price of the Mount Batur hike was pricey- you could do it for less in Ubud, with transportation to the mountain included. The staff was not very accommodating.

The hot springs were delightful with a great view of the mountain over the lake! Its great for an escape if you want to get away from the crowds of people for a day or two.
