The road to the properties is very narrow, but the location is great for hiking to Mt Batur.

The hot pool is excellent, good view, very comfortable. During our stay the weather was also perfect. They made a good grilled fish for dinner (extra cost). Drinking water in gallon is also provided in every room. Everything is modest but clean.

The 4 bed dorm is possibly the best room. My friend and me had the whole space to ourselves. The view is amazing and the place is slightly tucked away but still 3min from the main road, which is a plus point for me always.

Great staff and service, also booked a hiking guide through the owner which is super friendly. Totally recommended for hikers to enjoy before and after hiking, since there's open air hot spring.

Lots of flies during the day and a annoying cat that will follow you around whenever there is food.

Clean and beautiful place to chill. There is a hot spring to dip with mountain view as backdrop.

The hostel dorm is very basic, mattresses were on the floor. Not the worst but wasn't exactly what we were expecting. A lot of flies, nothing much that could be done about them though.

Nice hot pools, staff were nice. We booked a Mt Batur trekking tour through the accomodation which was 450k per person. Really convenient location as the lodge is at the start of the track so didn't need to travel.

Billions of flies plague the entire area during the daytime. Advise a shorter stay, maybe 3 nights. The flies spoil the experience somewhat, hence the lower mark. Also staff try to push their hiking tour at check-in and wrongly state that you have to pay to go trekking on your own. No Grab, so inflated prices for taxis. Not easy to walk around - worth hiring a motorbike?

Amazing views near start of short hike up Mt. Batur. Lovely gardens and hot, warm & cool pools. They change the hot water daily! Free water refills and an inviting bar area to take in the spectacular views. Inside the room was free of flies and good quality construction. Everything worked and was as advertised. Food basic but good. They have cold drinks, including beer.

Beds are literally small mattresses, everyone is there t do the sunrise hike yet some people are making noise or chatting /phone calls and you have no curtain or privacy from that Only one shower SO many flies in the area yet they did nothing to repel them

Restaurant opening hours are misleading, it says 7:30am to 9pm, incorrect! Breakfast start at 8am, they do not serve lunch before 2:30pm and they stop taking orders at 8pm for diner, I went to bed without eating on my first night even if I went to the restaurant at 8:05pm ! They don’t care.

Only one toilet and shower which was unclean. The location was convenient for Mount Batur but there is really not much else at all in the area. I would recommend staying in Ubud and doing a Mount Batur tour from there. The hostel beds were just mattresses on the floor side by side.

Lovely warm pools and very close to Mount Batur. The Hostel will take you on a guided sunrise hike of Mount Batur if requested.

Room had a lot of flies during the day, the bathroom was very old and needs maintenance. Shower was not working at all. Bathroom was Not clean when we arrived. The road to the Hostel is very bumby. Unfortunately was the staff not very friendly. Taxi to leave is very expensive but you are not having any other choice.

Mostly everything not worth the travel to and from and the price certainly NOT worth it. You even have to pay to go into Kintimani no mention of that on their site but not in their ability to stop that it's an area thing and not uncommon now in Bali which is becoming too money hungry with all the extra taxes being imposed.

About the only thing going for this place is the views and hot spring water. Food is not too good room is poor facilities not good.

Got food poisoning and found dead bed bugs. Place is run by young guys which is a huge red flag. Nice hot spring pools overlooking which was the only good thing about this place. Stay in Ubud and do day trips to north Bali.

Limited meal options. Horrible flies. Noisy tourists.

Hot springs were nice with incredible view. Bed was one of the most comfortable I have had in SE Asia. Filtered water dispenser outside bungalow. Staff arranged transport to my next town with very nice driver. Staff was nice, carried my heavy rolling duffle bag to room. Offered to clean room but I declined due to short stay.

Worth noting, there are A LOT of flies everywhere from sun up to sun down🥴 Also, they force you to use local taxi, and those cost 1.5X-2X more than Grab and Gojet.

Staff were not very helpful or communicative, language was a major barrier but they also did not attempt to give us any information or communicate in any way. We were very disappointed that this resulted in us missing out on a mountain trek. Book very clearly before you go.

The view is absolutely incredible. So lovely to sit in the hot pools and watch the volcanoes and lake and breathe the mountain air. Food was nice. Definitely recommend for these reasons.

no AC in dorm room the FLIES were disgusting - so many I couldn't eat my breakfast outside and had to bring inside
