Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

GermanyWiFi in the co-working space hardly working. This is not a 5-star-luxury resort. Be prepared for some nature! Eco-friendly means they don't kill all the insects. There's also animals in the vicinity = some chicken might cry at 4am. To get around, you may need a driver or scooter.
Eco-friendly village with all included: Rooms/bungalows, restaurant. Co-working space, pools, yoga shala, regular events, some cafes walking distance. Clean. Friendly staff, some level of comfort. Great yoga classes with teachers, who know their stuff and show attention to detail. My 3rd trip to this place.

HungaryThis place is amazing. We came for 6 days and ended up extending our stay to 12 days. It has everything: a workplace, yoga, massage, pool, gym, nice view, good restaurant, etc. Also, the beach, which is only a 5-minute walk away, is amazing.

GermanyThis was an excellent place to find a balance between screen time on laptops in the work area with great WiFi and service and things like snorkeling or sightseeing, the pools, gym and yoga shala are great facilities, the staff is very professional, and we often ate at the restaurant, which has plenty of vegetarian options, good breakfast and the best view in Amed. The view of Gunung Agung is excellent. We enjoyed our stay!

AustraliaFor 80-90 per night, the rooms are tired, especially the bathrooms. All over Bali I was paying half this price for much more modern rooms and bathrooms. The property needs to be updated. Rotten wood everywhere and very old bathroom fixtures.
Incredible Yoga, and massage, lap pool, lovely restaurant and amazing staff. So friendly, happy to help and personal service.

GermanyThere is insect repellent & staff, but still, this place is in the middle of nature. You should expect some nature. WiFi is not super-perfect in all places at all times, but you get used to it. 3-hours transfer from Denpasar + traffic jam. Likely, one of the most expensive places in Amed. If you´re the luxury type, stay in the South (or Canggu, for that matter).
Nice breakfast, flexible timings. Comfy rooms with outside shower / bathroom Enough stowage options Moderate aircon. Friendly staff. Everything in reach (e.g. if weather is rainy, you can get food / workspace / pool / Yoga all within Blue Earth Village). Peaceful set-up.

PortugalThe main pool was always busy with classes or other activities. Good that there is a smaller relaxing one at another side.
Stunning location and facilities. Recommend to have a motorbike/car. Breakfast was lovely and the hut scheduled enough for privacy. Good upper bamboo terrace for self practices and working. Incredible yoga shala.

NetherlandsRoom was beautiful but not so comfortable. At least not for a solo parent and toddler. Almost no daylight in room. Not easy for light sleepers because of roosters and shared roof terrace. If you don't have a scooter or car it's hard to get away (and not that much to do)
Restaurant is amazing. Both food and view. Staff incredibly nice. Ambiance and design of the resort is beautiful. Great place if you're into yoga and or diving

AustraliaHaving to pay for Yoga as a guest when the owner/manager filled in twice, he was enthusiastic but clearly hadn't taught or practiced Yoga in awhile.
Staff were very helpful and friendly, Restaurant had the most gorgeous view and every meal was delicious and healthy. Included breakfast was substantial and many choices. Medicinal Yoga/Energy Flow Instructor was professional and knew her stuff. Pool was clean and much appreciated. Cool Vibe throughout whole establishment. It's an amazing establishment.

ChinaAt night in some too types I am a light sleeper and I can hear the animal’s sound, like frog or chicken.
Amazing location with great Yoga facility facing the Agong Volcano. The breakfast is healthy and delicious with beautiful view The staff is super friendly and helpful. If you like the local traditional style of room and close to nature (toilet is half-opened), you will like it. Good value of money here for people to enjoy diving and yoga. The diving shop right next to the hotel is a good choice.

United StatesThis is an exceptional eco hotel/resort. Our room was wonderful, super clean and spacious, cold ac, really cool outdoor bathroom/shower. The property is huge so our room felt very private. I really enjoyed the onsite yoga class with Marta. But I have to say, the best part of this resort is the incredible restaurant. The food is outstanding. I have worked in restaurants and hospitality my entire life and this restaurant was a 10/10.
