Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

FranceNot easy to find, at the first floor of a building that looks a bit abandoned. Could be cleaner, the staff don’t speak English. Not very sound proof.
The room and bathroom are ok, good and comfortable bed, helpful staff. Modern and fun box bedroom.

SpainVery comfortable and well located. Download the app Bobobox and log in in advance to speed up the check in (you will need the app). Take into account that there is no common area in case you are a solo traveller.

MalaysiaClean and neat. Have a separate bathroom for man and woman. Spacious common area. Feel safe in the compound. First time sleep in a pod, a bit uncomfortable at first, but you will used to it. Not for claustrophobic people. Good location, have Kenangan Coffee & Family Mart in the same building.

United KingdomOne minor complaint was noise levels. Of course this is down to the other guests though and not the accommodation.
Everything was great. The staff were friendly, it was kept immaculately clean and I would definitely stay again.

MalaysiaA bit noisy because the capsule is a bit thin. You can hear footstep and it gets annoying if kids running around at night when you trying to sleep.
The place is clean especially the bathroom and lovely staff. Strategic place if you wanted to explore central Jakarta. There is some 24hour shop downstairs. In front there is a train station. Keep in my mind to download the bobobox app before checking in.

MalaysiaHowever, there was a minor hiccup during check-in. I was not informed in advance about the need to download an app for check-in, which was slightly inconvenient. Upon arrival, I was given a barcode to unlock my room through the app, which took a bit of extra time and effort. It would have been more convenient if this information had been provided beforehand.
One of the standout features of this capsule hotel was the spaciousness of the capsules. Unlike the typical cramped capsules I've encountered before, these offered ample space to store belongings and move around comfortably. It provided a sense of openness that reduced any feelings of claustrophobia. The lighting control panel attached to the wall was a thoughtful addition. It allowed guests to customize the ambiance to their preference, creating a more personalized and comfortable environment within the capsule. The cleanliness of the shared bathroom and shower facilities was exceptional. The fact that they were separated for men and women was a bonus, ensuring privacy and convenience for all guests. Additionally, the presence of a musolla for Muslim guests demonstrates the hotel's inclusivity and consideration for diverse travelers, which is highly commendable.

TaiwanI wish I had known I'd need to download and install an app to access everything. A lot of time could have been saved if I knew and took care of all of this before arriving. As it was, I arrived tired from travel and had to download and install unexpected apps. Top bunk room was not easy to get in to. I could not open or close the door with a backpack on in the room. Stairs are steep.
The pods were cool. I like the lighting/sound system interface. The bed was comfy. The QR code system can be hit or miss. Just don't forget your phone.

United Kingdom2 small points. 1- the mattress is a bit thin so if you don't do well with hard beds, this may not be best for you to get a decent night's sleep. 2- while the place is kept clean, make sure that the kitchen emergency exit door remains closed. Someone accidentally left it open (I think a cleaner) and a massive rat scuttled in from the outside which my partner scared back out and closed the door afterwards. (Seriously I have a video of it). This isn't a reflection of the hotel itself but Jakarta isn't the cleanest city so it's just something to note. I would happily stay at this place again if I'm back in Jakarta on a tight budget but this is just to make people aware.
It's great value for money. Each capsule is actually surprisingly spacious - there's a small standing area and desk where you can put your luggage so it's not taking up the bed area (which tends to be the issue with most capable hotels). Shower and toilets are regularly kept clean and they're nice and spacious as well l. The kitchen/seating/working area was good. There's a working hot water dispenser as well as a kettle, a nice and a sink which is handy for any food (like ramen cups etc) you might want to buy from the convenience store next to the hotel entrance.

SloveniaI was looking for a place just to get a nice rest after my flight and before my next train and this one was perfect for that. Good water pressure, privacy, clean, enough space in the capsule to sort out your stuff, market and restaurants nearby. It is not a social place if you are looking to meet new people.
