Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

BelgiumSuch a pleasant stay! The owner and the staff were very friendly, they organised a balinese cooking lesson and they also invited me to the fool moon ceremony and they gave be clothes for the temple. The room was very clean and sheets were smelling fresh. The garden is amazing for remote working. Also very good Internet speed.

PortugalThis place is just stunning and very relaxed! Buda, the owner, and his staff were very kind. I had laundry and they managed to get it cleaned and dried for the next day, I didnt have to worry about it. It was the best place to sleep so far! Pancakes are great and I learned the recipe ☺️. Also Buda drove me to my next hotel for a good value.

United Stateslocation is just a bit away from the chaos which could be a good thing. bathroom toilet too closed to the wall but that’s the only bad thing there.
Everything, from the rice field entrance to the pool and the owner… who even offered to drive us to the airport and found us a bike to rent for a fair price. I really felt like u was involved in Bali while in there. Highly recommended.

United KingdomNothing to note Only thing which isn’t a big deal - on booking.com it was at the time of our stay listed as having 2 outdoor swimming pools. I did ask the host about it and he didn’t seem to bothered about the fact his property was listed wrong. However two swimming pools wasn’t important to us.
Lovely traditional feel to the place, nice pool and surrounding garden areas. Room was nice, reasonably comfy bed and bathroom was clean and more modern than some others we’ve seen.

SpainAn incredible place. Everyone there was amazing with us and also our taxi driver, and friend, Kadek, who has advised us and taken us everywhere, his company being very pleasant. Also they recommend us a restaurant near by the hotel, called Warung Lambung Padi. This was for us one of the best places to have a meal. The staff was so kind and servicial and the food very tasty and traditional. Thank you for everything!!

BulgariaThe only thing that is not 10 out of 10 was the WiFi. There were times when the internet was unavailable for a few minutes periods, which isn't a problem at all when browsing for fun, but it's not reliable for online meetings.
A relaxing and private location 10 minutes from Ubud's center. The staff is extremely friendly and always willing to help with anything - getting a sim card, renting a scooter, calling a taxi, arranging laundry, etc... The staff member even gave a brief scooter driving lesson on his own bike. Every day, the rooms were meticulously cleaned. We had a great time here.

GermanyA HEALTH HAZARD! STAY AWAY!! MOLD/FUNGUS INFESTATION IN CEILING During my stay I developed severe headaches and was feeling very unwell. As a result I spent most of my time in my room (always rejecting room cleaning as I was in my room). On my last day when I woke up and looked at the ceiling, I was horrified to find that the entire ceiling was covered in MOLD/FUNGUS. Upon reporting this to the staff they told me, i didn't want the room cleaning. The staff knew about the mold/fungus infestation, as they have an extra long broom to clean the fungus away daily (so they didn't care about the root cause that the huts are full of mold, they just want to hide it daily by mopping it away). I was shocked that they knew about the mould and fungus and act like it isn’t heath threatening. The staff did not care whatsoever about there being mold and fungus, they just care about getting money and hiding the mold. Several days later I am still struggling health wise. To anyone travelling to Bali i URGE you to stay somewhere else, dont risk your health to stay there.

Czech RepublicAnts are everywhere, in the bathroom, in the toilet, on walls and in the bed. I guess we had the worse room. Isolation between rooms is catastrophic, you can ear your neighboors snoring, talking ..like they are in the same room.
Wildness of the place, sounds of animals around. very kind and helpful staff. Nice pool. Good breakfast.

KazakhstanI booked the places cause of the price and reviews it has. Since I didn’t need to stay over night, just to drop my bags and collects them in the evening, have a shower and check out. Although I had a very limited time I would say that I won’t stay at the place again, cause I know that it’s possible to find for similar or almost similar prices better places in Bali, Ubud. Too many insects, quite untidy place. My body was itching after 1hr staying in the bed. The staff is great, I can’t say anything bad abt the ppl. But personally i wouldn’t stay again at the place and would search for another one. However I can’t complain a lot since for my personally and for the situation i had, it was good enough for the money I payed. I know Ubud and Bali is in general full of different insects but Iv stayed for 2 weeks there and can say that there are places where ppl really control that and you don’t even see them sometimes. So overall I would suggest to think to book the place for the ppl who prefer a bit more of a clean and comfort. Plus location was a bit further with a hill road to go in, and the place itself is quite packed so resting in the pool would not be an opinion of a person likes a bit of privacy. Again. Ppl who operates the place are great, very welcoming.

RomaniaWe stayed for 8 days, we had to use the shower water with moderation to last for the whole shower, and most of the time the second person had to wait 30 minutes to have hot water. But the most important thing we didn’t like about the property was the cleanliness. We found everyday gecko poo on our bet sheets, I even ask the staff specifically to change our sheets, and we left the blanket on the floor for the staff to remember that it needs to be changed. And later when we came back we found the bed made, but was with the same bed sheets. None of us got the sheets changed during our stay of 8 days. For all 3 rooms we had. The owner tried to be helpful and always offered to help us with all kinds of trips, excursions and transportation arrangements. But unfortunately the quotes we got from him were either more expensive than other tour organizers, or in the best case same price. And we kinda felt pressured into booking with him. Thing that in the end costed us, because we decided to book the transportation to our next location through him and ended up paying a lot more because when we arrived at the harbor our host never had the booking confirmation. And we ended up buying last minute tickets for the next ferry. Which were more then double the initial negotiated price.
The location was close to Ubud center.

FranceCleaning could be more thorough in general. Some dust, marks of humidity and dead insects in the mosquito net on the bathroom window. I didn’t use the kitchen because some parts were dirty. The plastic trash bins were a bit disgusting. Breakfast was okay but I was disappointed not to have a fried rice option like in every other hotel I stayed in. The personnel was nice but I didn’t feel the « family vibe » I had in other guesthouses.
Pool was great! Very silent and beautiful spot. Personnel is nice. Rooms are big and bed is very comfy.

TurkeyI could hear every single breath of my neighboor. Felt like we slept together. Cleaning was bad, I was pretty suprised when I realized they didnt change the bed sheet! Also keep in mind that a gecko may sh*t on you at night because there is no reinforced concrete or plywood ceiling under the roof. But its just a cottage way so no complain for this.
Nice people.
