Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

GermanyAs the room is not tightly sealed, especially at the doors, animals also get in (ants, geckos, spiders, etc.). However, the staff really made every effort to prevent this and keep everything clean. But what are they supposed to do if there are gaps in the walls? My neighbor didn't seem to have the problem.
The Staff is super nice and friendly. Great view from Balcony. Didn’t use the pool but looked nice. Cheap but good meals available, but you have to tell the staff in advance (choose breakfast the evening before, choose dinner at breakfast). Bed was very comfortable. TV, soap, shower gel, hair dryer, kettle, fridge, coffee, tea, towels, everything was there. Yes also stairs.

FranceA very friendly team runs this small hotel located 5 minutes from the main street of Candi Dasa. The views from the rooms and pool are exceptional and the grounds are very well maintained. The hotel also offers a convenient catering service for a small fee.

Germany- AC was running at 30°C when we arrived and needed about 5h to cool down a bit so we didn't sweat too much. The AC did not work sufficiently anytime and there was no fan on the ceiling or anywhere else bring a relief. - No drinking water offered anytime and no minibar! - We couldn't consume their welcome drink, nor their tea or kind of juice for breakfast since we can't stand sweetend drinks. Fortunately we brought our own large bottle of mineral water so we did not dehydrate. - No restaurant, though it is stated in the discription. - Usually you can order food in the evening (after 07:30 p.m. only) via WhatsApp, which they forward to an external restaurant, but not that day, so no food for 24 hours! - The next restaurant is almost 5 km away in Candi Dasa. Haven't seen a minimart, but that was no option anyway, since my wife didn't want to drive the street to the accomodation for a 2nd time. Since the street was wet from rain we couldn't leave early. - No shampoo. - No soap. - Bad vibes during breakfast, when were asked to pay 100.000 Rp extra per night since I had booked the double room for one person only. That choice between 1 or 2 persons during the booking process must have been hidden somewhere in the App. I'm an experienced traveller and user of Booking.com, but never seen that before in SE Asia. - A real big spider under the toilet had to be killed with the broom since I didn't know if it's dangerous. - Tokeh lives in the room, dropped from the ceiling behind the curtain, run around and hide behind the bed. - Disgustingly dirty behind the bed, under the fridge and in the corners, so I guess it hasn't been cleaned there since the opening. - Woodworms are working hard 24/7, so there is constantly new white powder on the bed frame and I had to keep distance with my pillow. - Big night active single ants were running around on the wooden floor. I had to kill each one of them since I found one under myself in bed.
- Bed was comfy, but we couldn't sleep well since it was way too hot in our room and we had to share it with a Tokeh. It has been replaced but always returned home. - Terrace with great view and birds to watch. - Pool looked really nice, but we couldn't use it, since there's no shadow all day. - Garden is really well mantained. - View is great as long as the typical Balinese fires don"t cloud the area. - TV - Nice parking area, but dangerous to reach on a very steep and narrow street, at least for a car. We had to stop on the steepest part in a curve to let a scooter through. - 77 steps to the room is a good workout, but there's no shadow on the way to/from reception/breakfast room. - We got a 600.000 Rp refund afterwards for 3 nights, since we left after the first night already. - Most staff and workers carrying building materials to a higher level are really friendly. We felt pity for the poor staff member who had to climb the 77 stairs 3 times to pick up our heavy luggage.

United StatesWay too far from candidasa center,, and no Grab or Gojack. If you don't have your own transportation, don't come here. It's hard ro find even for local drivers, up on the hill through the very narrow road upwards.. 15 minutes from Candidasa by car, but too far to walk, the street is full of agressive dogs who are barking all the time. During the day time the bike running shop was making noise, along with chickens, dogs and deko lizards.
Newly build hotel with sweeming pool and view on the hill. Room with balcony, hardwood floors. The staff member took me on the bike to the Oldest Bali village- Tenganan.
