Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomI liked everything
This is a beautiful little haven, so calm and peaceful after the hustle and bustle of Ubud. Everywhere is kept immaculately clean and the young staff members are an absolute delight with a genuine interest in making your stay comfortable. The swimming pool was warm and very clean and it was wonderful to swim in the evening with the accompanying frog chorus. Meals were served in the restaurant area overlooking the gardens and rice field which was a beautiful start to the day. I ate dinner once and the food was fresh, well presented and tasty. Bedroom was huge with a lovely verandah and walk in shower room.

United StatesWe stayed for a week and couldn't find anything to dislike.
The staff treats you like family and are so kind, friendly and helpful. Breakfast was covered and we ordered food in to our room most of the time, although you can have it outside to overlook the rice fields or near the pool. The room had everything we needed. You can also pay for convenient dinner (food is good!) or laundry services too. I would 100% come back!

NetherlandsThe room was spacious with a nice big bed, view from the balcony/ room over the ricefields was beautiful. We had diner at byasa ubud and the food was delicious. The pisang goreng, the kokos fried vegetables are worth ordering. But most of all I loved the hospitality of the staff. They genuinely wanted us to feel comfortable and happy in their hotel. If ever we will visit Ubud again, we will definitely stay in byasa ubud.

It was an amazing place with a beautiful garden and a wonderful view. The water in the swimming pool was warm enough. The location was perfect. The breakfasts were very tasty, always prepared on time. We could eat every day at the terrace in our room. But the greatest treasure there was the staff! Thanks people who work there we felt like staying with best friends. We stayed in a few hotels on Bali during our trip but Byasa was definitely the best ! We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this place.

AustraliaEverything was perfect!!!
The owners were so helpful. They even booked my tickets onwards to Gili Air and made the process so easy for me. I was always greeted with smiles and they were all super friendly. They had attention to detail, such as turning down the bed and placing the night shade on before arriving home each night. Breakfast was always so beautifully presented and they even supplied a breakfast box when leaving early. I can’t thank Byasa enough for making my trip so relaxing and easy. I will definitely be back and recommending them to family and friends back home.

United StatesRecently, we came back from our vacation in Ubud, and we stayed at @Byasa Hotel for 6 nights. This hotel is in a good location, has clean space, a beautiful view by window and pool, regular housekeeping when you are away, good breakfast and meal options. Most importantly, they value their customers, which is seen in their quality of service. Owners Pandey and Ayu are wonderful people who treat you like family, which is reflected in their staff, all the others were humble, polite & helpful. Overall, we had a great stay and would love to return. Thanks again for your kindness and honesty and for making our stay that memorable. Hope we see again one day.

United KingdomThe bathroom was a bit basic and had no window. Also the water from the shower would filter through to the whole bathroom making the floor a bit slippery.
Great location in Ubud. Also near plenty of restaurants and close to the action. We liked the way the hotel was set back from the street and it felt calm. Great view of the rice fields.

ChinaWe liked almost 98% of the stay, but the top shower head didn’t work. They tried their best to fix it.
We really like the garden and the restaurant, it’s such a nice area to just hangout. The location of the hotel is perfect, it’s quiet enough but very close to the busy area of Ubud. If you like walking, you could walk to the monkey forest in about 25min. The room is also facing rice field with nice privacy. Overall very nice stay!!

Very nice tropical garden with rice terrace view. The pool is nice and refreshing after a day of visiting Ubud. They also serve a very good breakfast with pancakes, eggs and fruits. The staff is very friendly and welcoming.

VietnamSound insulation can be better. The room above us makes a lot of noises when the checked in.
Everything! 1. Amazing location that takes only 20 minutes to the monkey forest and lots of amazing restaurants nearby 2. Staff is extremely friendly and enthusiastic. They pay really close attention to my well being same as my schedule to ensure I have the best stay! 3. The hotel arranges very cheap motorbike rental and extremely good massage. The massage’s price is a bit higher than other places but the technique of the masseur is top notch! The best massage I got in Bali. 4. They also help me with several other requests such as bank transfer and food pick up. 5. Waking up in Byasa is refreshing. They only have 9 rooms and all the rooms facing the rice field.

AustraliaHonestly, for the price, I can't really fault it.
Pande and all his staff were so welcoming and helpful. From the moment we arrived at 1 am, they were there to support us with anything we needed, including booking our driver (Alit who was also great) and organising a massage in our room. It was lovely to stay somewhere that's owned by locals. The daily breakfasts are generous and tasty, especially the fried rice. Our room was spacious and had a large balcony overlooking the pool and rice paddies - it's amazing to have that view being so central in Ubub. We spent time relaxing by the pool and gardens, which are beautifully kept. You are within walking distance of Ubub, so close to restaurants, etc, so if you want to be in amongst the action, this is a great option.

Quiet location backing onto a small rice field. Located next door to a 7/11, short walk from a bigger supermarket and bit longer walk to main strip. Great pool. Free afternoon tea and the breakfast was so good. Fantastic staff, they were so accommodating!
