Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

MaltaThe hotel is like a little paradise in Ubud, close to the centre but far enough from its noisy traffic offering a serene and relaxing ambience. The room was immaculate, styled with modern decor and food served during breakfast and dinner was expectional, always so fresh and tasty! Our favourite spot was definitely the pool area where we could enjoy the beautiful view and hear all the different nature sounds. The staff are very welcoming, polite and helpful especially while they were dealing with the airport because of my lost luggage. We had the most wonderful time and would highly recommend it.

United KingdomVery little! if you are leaving early and ask for a takeaway breakfast don’t expect too much, it was poor compared to other places in Ubud. there was also some unexpected building work going on near the pool which was sometimes loud during the day.
The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. The pool and bar were wonderful. Fantastic room with comfy bed and powerful shower. Good Wi-Fi signal throughout.

United Arab EmiratesNothing at all! Every single thing was perfect!
We LOVED this hotel. It was our firm favourite of our stay in Bali and we stayed in 8 hotels in total. The staff were SO friendly and did everything they could to make our stay perfect. They arranged a candlelit dinner for us on the pool terrace for our 1 year wedding anniversary, arranged massages at short notice, the food was unbelievable for hotel dining and the stay was overall amazing. We could not recommend it anymore!!

United KingdomAbsolutely nothing. A faultless stay.
Could this possibly be the nicest boutique hotel in the whole of Bali (/Indonesia/Asia)? We think it quite possibly is. If you are having any trepidation about whether or not to book this place, just do it already, it is an utter haven of calmness, style, elegance and bliss. Absolute perfection in our eyes... From the warm welcome and the no-hassle upgrade to a larger room to the incredibly beautiful decor throughout and the jaw-dropping pool and restaurant area, not one area of this accommodation could be improved upon. All the staff were so delightful and friendly with nothing too much trouble, the design was just incredible everywhere you look and even the food, something that could understandably be overlooked in a small hotel like this with such good offerings around, was really very good indeed, the breakfast in particular was very good. If you are coming to Ubud to find peace and live the Bali-lifestyle, the good energy that is coursing through this hotel will certianly not disappoint. In short, it is probably the nicest hotel stay I've had in my life and we will certainly be coming back when we next visit Bali.

AustraliaThe property looks old ,definitely needs to have peat control done as lots of mosquitoes, frogs(that make noise the whole night) small lizards & insects. When we entered to room had to smell of water in the walls & we could see patches. The AC drained was blocked so it was dripping water too, so had to be checked. The in house telephones were not working , when I made them aware, I was told it has to be looked at the technician was coming, but not a single day the room telephone worked so we had to use WhatsApp for all communication.
The staff was very helpful & good!

United KingdomThe staff were not very welcoming or helpful. I was given a room with a malfunctioning AC and the staff only agreed to change it after I complained twice. I booked for a massage and it was done very diffidently.

DenmarkThe first room had a really bad smell of mold. Gave the headache and difficulty breathing in the room. The hotel was fully booked so we could not change, however the day after we were allowed to change and the new room was much more comfortable to stay in. Too pricey according to What you get.
Cozy small hotel. The garden. The vegetation. Nice terasse and pool area. Nice restaurant, delicious food at reasonable prices.

TurkeyThe hotel is a small boutique hotel. While you wanted to have a calm and quiet holiday, it was literally a nightmare. There were too many families with children and babies, and you woke up to the sound of children's voices and noise in the morning. It was a complete disappointment. It should definitely be an adult hotel, it is not suitable for children. It was a big mistake to choose this hotel. .Bali has a customer profile that is contrary to prudence. I regret it
