Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaNothing major, just could have benefitted from a couple more power points.
Very peaceful. It’s where the rice fields meet the jungle.

AustraliaOur room was at bottom of resort which is on side of very steep hill. Had to navigate about 100 steps to get any where. If you were not agile this place is not for you. There is no mention of the amount of stairs in the site information.
It was a good central location to explore central and eastern Bali. Staff were very helpful. Room clean.

AustraliaThere are quite a few stairs as previous people have noted but totally worth the climb up and down
This is a beautiful location with gorgeous staff and quite a stunning unique room. Loved having our own private pool.

United KingdomWhen we visited the restaurant was only open for breakfast, but this was because we were there in the off season. The stairs need to be mentioned. Our villa had 70 odd steps to climb for breakfast / reception. Not a problem if you’re capable and want to keep fit.
The location of the resort is amazing. You will not be disappointed

PortugalSome of the menu was not available which made our food options limited in such a remote location but it was more than enough for 3 days.
Stunning views, amazing infinity pools. The food was good and affordable. The morning walk and the tour were fun activities. We were isolated but never felt bored. The point of this booking was to enjoy the surroundings of Ubud and those nature landmarks without having to rush in and out of the city so mission accomplished.

United KingdomBreakfast was simple and not the healthiest (sausages, bacon, pancakes, etc...) Would be nice if they provided more fresh dishes. The location is far from Uud (around 40mins away), however, close to other touristic spots.
Gorgeous and affordable resort with breakfst included, room service and other facilities. The pool view was stunning. Our room was very spacious and had a balcony. The hotel provides room service, which came extremely handy since we both got sick during our stay. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

United Arab EmiratesSeveral aspects are neglected and maintenance is rather poor, so is cleaning. Our room was not properly cleaned, parts of the shower rusty, all sliding doors rusty and noisy. Sockets were limited, one was taken for the router and the other for light and tv. Toilet seat half broken. At this price, I expected higher standards to be honest.
We booked a villa with private pool and it was fantastic. Spacious and with amazing view to the forest. (There is a price to pay though: the villa is at the very end of the resort and there are 102 steps). There was variety at breakfast and food quality very good.

RomaniaThe food was average (except for the local Indonesian food which was delicious). Also, the pool was a bit cold, but it was okay if you wanted to swim.
The room was big and with a great view of the jungle. The area is interesting and the staff is very nice. Also, the facilities for traveling and visiting around are quite good.

AustraliaStaff were not as professional as other places. The food is terrible, do not get the breakfast. Be prepared for the hardest bed of your life! The company emailed me through Booking.com asking for my credit card details after I had already paid. Turns out they were hacked and I was lucky to have avoided it

BulgariaIt is a little run down, as much as the staff is trying to maintain everything in best possible shape and condition. The villas with pools are the ones that are truly worth it.
It was very authentic, built with natural materials and set in front of an amazing jungle view. The staff are warm, welcoming and try to meet all their guests needs. There are a number of beautiful places to visit nearby for short walks and two very nice restaurants right nearby, for variety.

AustraliaSome food items were not available, didn't find out until your food arrived, communication would be great. the mini bar is quite limited as a diabetic no sugar free drinks available. Because of humidity, room is very moist and mould would grow on towels and in the seals of the fridge. No conditioner
Waking up to the jungle was breathtaking and having our own pool was an absolute treat. We wanted to be away from the busy streets and we sure got it. Approx 43 mins from Ubud city. 15 min walk to a beautiful waterfall. The massage was incredible. Staff were so friendly and kind. Overseeing a wild jungle is what to expect, something out of Jumanji. Bath was so relaxing. The resort grounds are so well looked after. GREAT JOB 👍🏻👏🏻

RomaniaThe statues by the pools, like the merlion in the main one and the peeing boy in the private pool, are just plain tacky. Plus, the furniture feels outdated, giving the hotel a bit of a gloomy vibe. Breakfast is underwhelming and on my last day I found a bug in my food.
I stayed in the junior suite, which, although it doesn't come with a pool, is conveniently located near the main pool, often empty. However, the junior suite rooms are situated at the property's base, requiring climbing numerous steps to reach reception. Unfortunately, both the phone and Wi-Fi in my room were not working. Because of this, on my last day, I was upgraded to a room with a pool, which is significantly more comfortable and closer to reception, with fewer stairs to climb. Easy to get grab there, though it is a significant 45 min ride from ubud center during daytime
