Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomWould be nice if the outdoor pool was heated, maybe add window pane in the bathroom as they only had blinds-so we had a few mosquitoes and lizards come in- but this didn’t affect us having a great stay!
The rooms were always tidy and clean, the views are amazing. The staff are really really kind and courteous. The breakfast was always great and we had a really great time staying here.

The view is speachless, on the morning you can see a beautiful sunrise above the jungle. Is so nice to walk around the resort to look at the ricefields.

IrelandThe resort is located quite far from central Ubud which makes getting around the various landmarks and restaurants quite difficult.
The facilities of the resort are fabulous. It offers a very relaxing and luxurious vibe and it is a peaceful location in the heart of the Ubud jungle.

IndiaSmall bugs or insects in the room as the resort in the forest area. The resort can take some measures to keep them out. Far away from the main market ( takes approx 40 mins from bike)
Good and comfortable rooms and a very polite and helpful staff. Close to Bayad waterfall which is not a major tourist attraction so you can have an entire waterfall to yourself

Czech RepublicThere is one restaurant at the hotel and only one other nearby. It is a bit far from the center (Ubud).
Really nice staff, beautiful views from the room, quiet accommodation in the middle of rice fields. You also rent a scooter from the hotel or it offres massages. We hired a driver from the hotel for the day, Wayan Wirawan, who was very helpful, took us around and showed us everything.

TurkeyThe location is too far up in the hill which means the temparature generally drops below 20 degress that makes difficult to take advantage of private pool in the room.(in november)

United StatesBecause the place is so popular, the rooms with the private pool were fully booked, so make sure to grab it early! It's well worth it especially with those views.
Mr Hayer (the owner) and Egi at the front desk along with the rest of the staff were a complete delight. The grounds were peaceful and the rooms were spacious and clean. Will definitely be coming back here again. Thanks for a memorable vacation!

JordanClose to nothing, not worth it if you dont get the villa with the pool, the staff can confuse you, you ask for water, one day they asked us to pay the next they said noneed to pay it's complementary. Not as clean as you would hope so, it's of course normal for the wild life such as frogs to visit occasionally, that's not the reason for this comment, the reason is because sheets had spots on them and made us feel itchy.
A nice place for a getaway, beautiful views if you take the villa with the pool you would enjoy it, the tv is very good and nice.

Stunning location with a beautiful view of the valley! Staff were exceptionally friendly and were so helpful. They really added so much to our stay. We really enjoyed staying 25 mins outside central Ubud and rented a motorbike from the hotel to do some sightseeing. We had so much fun and it was always so nice to come back to the piece and quiet of Ubud.

LatviaWalls in junior suite are thick as paper.. Unfortunately we with the toddler some times had to wake up when our neighbours wanted to express their love so loud that all the apartments had to wake up and listen.. :) Breakfast was quite poor to be honest and some times you have to wait an hour or even more..
Very nice and peaceful place. Stunning view from the balcony. Nice pool with the view to alley. Beautiful rice fields around and nice village with big temple near by.

The first morning everything was fresh but the other days it went little bit stale. You can rent motorbike easly at the hotel. Employees were so helpful all the time. They can bring your breakfest to your room every morning without charge.
