Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SingaporeI asked if they could clean the patio of the room when i arrived as the monkey has a made a mess and poo all outside of my front door, i had to ask again in the morning when it wasnt done and then the 2nd day when it still wasnt done. There were no other checks on the cleanliness of my room. In addition they offer a breakfast but as i went to the kitchen daily to get hot water the kitchen facilities are not clean enough to prepare food inside. It would be a health hazard for any guest eating from there.
I found a room in the centre of the garden with a beautiful view of the rice paddy, since the room was 4 walls of windows the curtains had to be drawn for privacy, I didnt mind this as I could keep the rice paddy side open

AustraliaThe door to my room didn’t close properly so it allowed lots of bugs to be in there at night. Maybe a proper handle on the door would help this problem. Toilet seat was not even secure to the toilet so it was a bit uncomfortable.
Nice quiet location still close to walk to town and the main area. Lots of nature around the property and lovely pool area

IrelandWe had to move rooms on our first night as our door didn’t lock properly and there were a lot of ants, this room was at the back of the property, but staff were very accommodating in finding us a new room. Located down a narrow road difficult access for cars so you may need to walk 2-3 minutes when being dropped nearby
The hotel is located very close to the Monkey Forest so expect monkeys on the property during the day/night, staff are extremely helpful with trying to deter them but they still come back! The location is perfect in walking distance from lots of cafes/restaurants and night markets, rooms are old styled but comfortable. Laundry service on site was a little expensive but convenient, swimming pool was very clean and grounds well looked after, room cleaned when requested and always left spotless

United KingdomIt was cash only but this wasn’t clear on booking.com. First night we had no aircon but they did have an engineer to fix it the next day. The bin was still full from the last guest. Bathroom looked like it was falling apart and the shower was broken. Lastly the doors aren’t properly sealed so we were bitten by mosquitoes every night as well as an infestation of ants.
Beautiful grounds and lovely staff.

SwedenThe room was in the worst corner of the hotel, and had a strange extra storage space with a zink ( perhaps an old kitchen). We had a tiny porch which only fitted 2 chairs ( we barely didn't fit ). Last day we moved to another hotel around the corner with rice field view and a large porch on the second floor, since this hotel only had another room available which was even worse than the one we already had had for several days. So it's worth shopping around in Ubud for a nice hotel with a view.
The area is central, but extremly busy with cars and motorbikes, shops and restaurants. The hotel has a nice garden, but no view and a very small splash pool.

AustraliaI booked this accommodation expecting two beds because I booked a double room and it stated that there would be two beds in the room, only to discover at the property that they don’t have any double rooms and all their rooms have one bed only. Also I paid for breakfast included and they almost didn’t honour it because they weren’t offering the breakfast included anymore ( you have to pay at the property) even though you can still book breakfast included on the booking sites. If booking with this property make sure to contact them directly and ask questions about their property and services because I almost demanded half my money back due to services not provided.
The gardens and pool were nice.
