Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SingaporeNeed to walk a narrow road leading into the villa. The living room area was quite hot during our stay as the 2 ceiling fans are small and high up and weather wasn't breezy. Facilities are more dated than I expected, but all in good working order.
Fantastic service provided by Chandra and team, we were well taken care of for breakfast, transport, information on places to go. Great value for the breakfast which comes with juice and fruits, coffee/tea served punctually by the staff at the villa. Location is quite secluded which is ideal for those who want quiet and privacy. There's a nice restaurant near the villa to chill and enjoy some meals, also a minimart and money changer.

Chandra and staff were fantastic and really looked after us. Well suited to our group of four siblings and partners. Comfortable rooms and very private villa. Communication was good.

CanadaThe A/C would have been nice to be in the common area when you walk into the villa.
I loved the serene location, the friendly staff and the spacious layout of the villa. It was close enough to the centre of Ubud but was still peaceful and quiet. It was very clean and felt like "home". Chandra was exceptionally nice and accommodating all of our wishes and requests.

AustraliaCannot fault them in anything, everything was perfect!
This is by far the best places we have had the pleasure of staying in with family. We were a group of four and utilised the 2 master suite villa and it was perfect, but I would say that what makes this place truly unforgettable is the service provided by Chandra, Ingot and their team. They were so friendly and offered the best customer service going above and beyond for us with helping organise activities and even getting our dinner delivered to our villa on our first night. They are the absolute best ☺️

United StatesChampaca Luxury Villas provided a truly unforgettable 2-day experience in Ubud. Nestled in the midst of beautiful rice paddies, the villa offered breathtaking views and a serene atmosphere, perfect for relaxation. A special mention goes to Chandra, who went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable—he was incredibly kind and even assisted me with questions about medicines when I needed help. His exceptional service truly stood out. This place is a perfect blend of luxury, tranquility, and warm Balinese hospitality. Highly recommend!

SingaporeThere's one thing, however that can be improved.. to eliminate flies indoors.
The service at Champaca Villa was excellent! Mr Chandra and team were super friendly and helpful. They prepared delicious breakfast for us, took time to chit chat with us and even helped carry our luggage through the narrow pathway leading to the villa, both upon arrival and departure. The villa itself is gorgeous and spacious with a nice pool and a view that opened towards a padi field. We felt relaxed and had really enjoyed our stay there.

NetherlandsThe living area does not have airconditioning, which was not clear when booking.
The view is stunning, nice spacious villa, if you google search for best staff ever you will see a picture of the Champaca villa staff. Very very friendly also for a daughter. Helpful with tips voor restaurants/surroundings, good tasty breakfast. Close to Ubud (with grab not walking with a child) but far enough to find peace and quietness.

IndiaThere’s a slight walk from the main road but it actually feels good taking those few minutes to walk into a noiseless exotic place. One room has leaking windows with rain water coming in.. guess that should be repaired soon
The location is great, just minutes from main center u feel you’ve come to an exotic uncluttered location right in the middle of rice fields. Staff member Chander was very helpful, communicative and likeable. Mornings felt like a drama with a very pleasant view and floating breakfast. The breakfast itself was very well curated and decorated visually and taste wise. Rooms very spacious.

AustraliaThere was nothing to dislike.
Even though the Villa,s were in a fairly secluded area surrounded by rice fields/terraces, we were still close (15 minute walk or 5 minute taxi/grab ride) away from the main Ubud action if we wanted to visit. The villa design offered cool evening breezes throughout as we relaxed the night away. We occupied Villa 2 & 3 which meant we had our own private pool overlooking the countryside . The location was very peaceful and tranquil. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The owner Rita was a sheer delight to have look after us also.

The villa’s are located in the middle of the rice fields so was fabulous for the peace and quiet. The team managed by Chandra and Danu were phenomenal and nothing was too much effort. We booked the in house masseuse on numerous occasions as they were very professional and came to us. There is a restaurant (Kalos) within walking distance and the food was of a consistently high standard each time. The location is close to the city centre and we utilised Gojek and Grab easily.

United KingdomGorgeous peaceful paradise with a quick journey into central Ubud. Chandra, Danu and the team were fantastic hosts taking care of every need. They organised a special welcome for our friends on their honeymoon. We loved waking up to the blissful views of the rice fields. Danu even got me a yoga matt to use each morning of my stay. The pool was lovely and well kept and the rooms spacious and beds comfy. Chandra organised massages at the villa which was also a highlight. I have been lucky enough to stay in many places in the world but something about staying here is particularly special and unique. We would book again if visiting Ubud! Kalos (restaurant 2mins walk away) was also great.
