Love love love Ubud though!”Reception staff were not helpful, booked a room with two beds only came with 1 & they wanted another $200 AUD for an extra bed. Entrance to the facility had building works & construction going on. Banging continuously, a lot of other areas non useable due to maintenance. Building was old & not maintained properly.

Picked this hotel because of its proximity to the monkey forest and wasn’t disappointed. Daily visits from some cheeky monkeys to my villa. Not for those that are frightened. They will jump on you and steal whatever you are holding. If you stayed in a room you would less likely to have these interactions. Villa was lovey. Walking distance to everything in Ubud and good breakfast selection 👍

United Kingdom26 Reviews9 helpful votes“wouldn’t stay again- was not worth the money we paid at all.”our garden was shaded and therefore had no sun at all because the other villas were so close to us - we were given a hairdryer which was like a toy and was broken - making a screaming noise when it was turned on/ kept switching on and off and didn’t dry my hair whatsoever. we had no WiFi at all during our stay and the staff were so rude when we asked them if they could book us a taxi - they tried stealing from us by asking for 600,000 for a hour car journey ( which is triple what we ended up paying when we asked our friend to book us one instead ( as we have English numbers so we cannot make an account with Gojek).
the room itself was cool and big! we had a very comfortable stay! the breakfast buffet was amazing as we have only had limited breakfast choices prior to this stay. the breakfast staff were also lovely and welcoming unlike the reception staff.

very clean, spacious and comfortable villa. pool was amazing, bathroom / toilet area was very spacious and clean, and buffet breakfast was delicious.

So happy we moved from another villa to Champlung Sari was a great decision! Double room (living area and bedroom). Staff are very friendly and seek to ensure we have a great stay Can’t wait to stay here again! Not a negative at all here: but be aware as this is located next to the monkey Forrest you’re guaranteed to have monkeys around the villa. They’re more curious than anything. Staff are great at moving them on. Just don’t leave anything outside. We did watch them steal towels from other peoples balcony’s. Great entertainment and photo opportunities with them
