    Beautiful view

    • Cabin
    • Stayed 2 nights

The cabin needs a little maintenance, some floorboards are damaged and stairs inside the bathroom are not attached and might be a safety hazard (I almost fell one time). Not related to the cabin, but there are many many flies there and it's hard to enjoy our time because they are very annoying during the daytime (but it was like that in all of Kintamani area).

I really liked the concept of the cabin, where you can open the side and take in the amazing view of the lake and mountains. We enjoyed the hot tub and were pleasantly surprised that there's a bathroom and hot water shower inside the cabin.

The neighbor in the other glamping place they don’t really think about other guests with loud noises and loud music until late night.

Nengah as the caretaker has been super excellent, the area is clean and comfy beyond our expectations. Bed very comfortable and the bathroom super nice as well. We booked the whole Glamping and Cabin for our family and we love the place. Very easy access…not sure what other reviews on about!! Never mind about the flies because it’s every where in Kintamani. Overall it’s been a pleasure to stay in Cloud Hills and with the price that we paid, we never expected to stay in such a nice and comfy place. Very top notch….thank you 🙏🙏🙏

They can not help it because it’s nature. But I got kind of annoyed by the high amount of bugs (not mosquitoes luckily!) so one night was enough for me.

Feels like you’re in a Disney movie. Definitely go here for an amazing nature experience. The staff was so nice and made a bonfire for me.

For me everything was perfect, but my husband said it was noisy at night because of a pump, leafs around a tent. And remember in any place in this region, you will be crawling with flies.

Wonderful place and very cozy tent with all necessary things (towels, electric kettle, dryer). After sunset, a staff helped us to make a bonfire.

There was some nails popping from the wooden floor. There was lots of flies, but its like that everywhere in Kintamani. We stayed in couple of different places before and all of them has flies issues.

I like it was remote, had view and had born fire.

There are many flies from morning until around 4pm. Just ask for spray to get rid of the flies.. anyway all around the place there are so many flies.. as there are onion farms around mount Batur.

The place is very remote and silent.. hard to find at the beginning but they put signs to help.. I think the best way is for you to ask the number of people in charge on the ground... so anytime you need something you can call or chat with them..

As the location is rather remote, it was quite difficult to find with help only from google maps. Especially if you're planing to have s.o. pick you up for a nighthike. Google doesn't seem to know the last section of the farm-road (as of 28.6.23). Then the farm-road's condition was so bad, that the my driver couldn't pass with his car and had me walk the last 500m. Also many flies all over the place, difficult to keep insects out from the tent.

It's in a very beautiful setting! The night staff even ordered food and made a fire for me, thumbs up for that. The tent was quite comfy, only the air circulation wasn't the best, even with the aircon running.

The bathroom is not attached to room, makes it hard when it's raining or late at night. Water and heater is not always available especially when few guests tries to shower at same time or back to back.

The cleanliness and nature like setting and cooling weather. Privacy of each tent and view of the mountain and lake.

Suggestion to the owner: the AC should be fixed higher than the bed, not behind it. When we were there it was cooling the air between the bed and the wall of the tent. The rest of the tent was quite hot during the day, even with AC on. Not a real complaint, but a reminder to the visitors: unlike other areas of Bali where you can get out of the house and something fun is always around, you should come to this area with a plan, what exactly you want to do. It's good to climb Batur, for example. We came there with an assumption that this would be a good location to visit North-East Bali, but since it's in a mountain valley - the places that look close on the map can be rather long to drive. We spent 3 days not in a most efficient manner.

It's a lovely comfy glamping tent with a beautiful view at the lake Batur. Very quiet rural corner of Bali. The girl working there helped us to arrange the acsencion to Batur for a reasonable price.

The lights outside were on all night right in front of the tent. Made it a little difficult to go to sleep. They could put some more furniture inside as nowhere to sit things. Some outdoor furniture on the deck would also be a good addition. The road is a little bit tight and steep. Only suitablefor small car and motor bike.

The landscape surrounding the area is amazing! The outdoor shower is unique!

good if you are waking up early to hike the Mt Batur for sunset, because when sun is out forget about staying inside the tent… too hot not easy to access to, it’s easy to get lost around even though there are different signs indicating the way there no facilities around, no place to get water… maybe a pool in the future can bring a bit more options to spend time in such a nice location.

nice novelty accommodation and scenic location nicely integrated in nature with low impact build simple self-check in process

    * Flies during the daytime were unbearable. The property should provide insect spray or do something to manage the swarm. * Plumbing is an issue, water is sometimes off, including the hot water is off several times. * No staff is present during 20:00 - 09:00. * The room rate is too expensive. I paid for IDR 640k and it wasn't including breakfast. * No smart TV which is now common in other properties. * Anticipate yourself to be prepared with all of your equipment as if you are camping in the forest, which in this case is not suitable with a glamping proposition. * No toothbrushing kit in the bathroom. * The wooden balcony deck in front of the dome tent is open, which will be nicer if we can have an adjustable cover so we can still cook in the rain. * The bathroom is open. If it rains, you will have a shower from both the shower head and rain.

    * The view is very nice although the lakeview is blocked by several trees. * The staff - Mr. Sarpa is fantastic, very welcoming, and accommodating of all of our concerns and requests. * The dome camp is well-conditioned. * Privacy to other tents is quite okay but can be improved. * Air conditioning in the dome tent is my favorite. The area is very hot during the daytime.

Got a bit lost getting there. Google maps told us to go the wrong/difficult way. The best way to get there is to follow the signs to Cloud Hill at the petrol station in Kedisan on Jalan Windhu Sara. Maybe add a route map for when you arrive in Kedisan.

Great view. Quiet location. Friendly staff.

The view was good but that was everything. There is a farm close by and it smells. We had at least 100 flies in the tent. The employees made excuses for it but we left after one night.
