Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

ChinaActually, I think there are no significant drawbacks. If I had to mention one, it would be that the water pressure in the shower is rather low, so showering is not particularly comfortable, but it’s within an acceptable range. Also, during our stay, the neighbor next to the homestay was renovating, but it didn’t really affect us because they were renovating when we were out, and it wasn’t too noisy during the day.
I think the owner is not very good at speaking, but is very serious and enthusiastic. He maintains a proper distance with the guests staying at the accommodation. This room is very new, located in a very good position, quiet in the midst of noise, with a small garden that is kept very tidy and clean. I got up very early in the morning and saw the owner cleaning, which shows that he cherishes and takes good care of his little yard. There are not many rooms in this homestay, and it seems to be fully booked, but there is no disturbance from each other, and the stay is very comfortable, the air conditioning is also very strong, and then very comfortable. I stayed for only one night because I made a mistake about the time I was supposed to stay in the house. When I wanted to extend my stay, the accommodation was already fully booked. I think this is a very comfortable space, definitely suitable for staying two to three nights or more.

SpainA small Oasis in the heart of Ubud, the popular Goutama Street. 4 quiet rooms located within a balinese family home. Wayan and his family are very welcoming and make you feel like home. You can rent a scooter there directly from his brother wena. The rooms feel like a 5 star hotel, the bed is super comfortable, towels of all sizes, water bottles and a kettle with coffe/tea. The garden is so beautiful with animals. Everynmorning they serve you a lovely breakfast in your room. Suksama Wayan!

This place was a little slice of heaven! Cloudspace is a beautiful, clean and tranquil hideaway thats situated right in the heart of Ubud. It was so peaceful and quiet. The rooms were absolutely gorgeous and looked right out onto a beautiful courtyard. The bed was so comfortable and the AC kept the room so cool in the heat and humidity. The staff were also so accommodating and friendly throughout our whole day. They even let us check out a little bit later and kept our bags safe all day until we were ready to leave for the airport. Will definitely stay here again and will recommend to friends and family☺️

MalaysiaNothing much as the value proposition is suitable to the price paid.
Location is perfect, just off Gautama Alley where the cafes and restaurants are located. Basically walking distance (or Gojek ride away) to everywhere in Ubud central. Room is small but more than adequate for a couple. It’s a new homestay so everything is clean and comfortable. Bed, towel and pillow are clean. The restroom including the shower is ensuite with small opening to exterior. It is also quiet and peaceful at night. The garden is nice with a small terrance equipped with chair and table for you to chill. The caretaker is soooooo nice and there’s cute dog too. In short, the homestay is very homey and great for value if you want to stay in central Ubud.

TurkeyThe hot water was a little unreliable. There are two times we need to have a cold shower at different times of the day. But with the weather of Bali it was not a big problem :)
The location was amazing! It is right at the centre of Ubud. The room and bathroom were very clean and well-decorated. The bed and pillow were very comfy. The staff is always smiling and very helpful.

This newly remodeled guesthouse is situated in the heart of Ubud at Jalan Gootama, a street full of affordable guesthouses , spas , shops and eateries. The no car except motorbikes policy from 6pm-10pm really made my day after spending 4 nights in Canggu. We took the car driven by the owner's son to the airport and had a great chat with him during the 75 mins journey. Highly recommended if you do not wish to spend too much time commuting to the central part of Ubud during your short stay

RomaniaNothing negative to say
This was an amazing place to stay. All the family made sure we are confortable, breakfast was really good, lots of flavors that we already miss. The location was perfect, in the center of Ubud and at the same time quiet. The place was very clean and cleaned daily. The garden and the fish pond made us feel relaxed and mindful. The hosts were really helpful - with information, advice, they arranged our laundry and they also offered to drive us on amazing trips. It is our fist time în Bali and we learned so much about their culture in the 8 days we spent here. Thank you, we would definetly come back here!

Romania- the street it’s not accessible by the car, it’s too narrow. Not a minus since it’s in the centre but it’s good to know - I did not like the bathroom door becaus all the light was coming through and since we travelled with a baby it was harder to help him sleep during the day because of this
- it’s in the centre of Ubud, close to everything - the family who owns the place is so friendly and helpful - very nice bathroom - good wifi (my husband was able to work, even had video meetings)

The room at Cloudspace was perfect, clean and luxuriously comfortable. I would have loved to stay longer. It's a great location in the heart of Ubud and the host family are beautiful people who kindly allowed us to keep our bags there all day before driving us to the airport in the evening (350,000 rupiah).

SingaporeThe water heater can be quite spotty. As you are staying close to other families, you might wake up from the noise of their morning routines/from the animals. If you are a heavy sleeper, it should be fine.
We really liked the location. It is just off the Main Street, yet it is tucked inside the estate so there is privacy. The room is clean and well-maintained. The AC worked well. It was very peaceful and relaxing on the balcony as it is situated within a beautiful garden.

MalaysiaJust small details, but not necessarily impacted our stay. Water sometimes did not stay warm for long, but that was okay. And the mirror in the bathroom was quite far for use. Room is smaller than other places we stayed and no small fridge to keep water cool. Or racks to dry our wet stuff (used the chairs outside), but again, minor stuff for us.
The location was perfect, in the middle of everything central to ubud. The room was nice and modern, bathroom also did the job. Staff was friendly and helpful. Communicated on whatsapp about our late arrival. We stayed only 2 nights and was just needed for some sleep and rest after long days out.
