Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomOutside bathroom. The only reason is because mosquitoes love me and I often get bitten when I visit the bathroom. But that’s my fault as I thought that it wasn’t open roof when I looked at the photos
I love the gardens and the surrounding Ricefield and nature as soon as you stepped inside the property any stress melted away. The all female staff are amazing always happy smiling and laughing with each other.

RomaniaThe warm water in the shower ran out pretty quickly. If was difficult for two persons to shower one after the other, but we managed. The location is pretty far away from the main towns, but local taxis/ ride sharing apps work fine.
Loved the ‘green’ aspect of the entire resort. It really had a balinese vibe to it. We also got an upgrade on our room which was a very nice surprise!

ThailandThese are not so much didn’t likes but things to be aware of: 1. The resort is in a very remote location. There are no restaurants or convenience stores in the local vicinity or in walking distance. Tanah Lot is not walkable. 2. There are no TVs in the villas (not negative depending on what you’re looking for). 3. The yoga classes are great but you have to pay for them (175,000 pp) 4. This is probably an ideal resort for a short stay. Maybe 2-5 nights. We stayed for 11 nights and found we quickly got tired of the food options at the restaurant and the constant back and forth in grab taxis to different locations often resulting in us sitting in bad traffic jams around the Canggu area. 5. As above, for longer stays you may find that the breakfast and the additional food menu for meals is quite limiting.
Nice, small resort in a very picturesque location. Nice pool and villas. Breakfast is good and made fresh to order. Nice smoothies! Quiet location away from the hustle and bustle of Canggu. Good WiFi. Super friendly and accommodating staff!

NetherlandsThe food and coffee was not as expected. This is an amazing hotel, but the food was not high standard. Bali coffee for breakfast, no sourdough bread and basic nasi...
Great place, amazing views! But you need a scooter to go to a restaurant. Nice places nearby in Kedungu. Friendly staff, helped with everything.

AustraliaCoco Verde felt like a home away from home very quickly. As it is low season, we pretty much had the place to ourselves! Everything was just as it was shown online. The friendly staff made us feel very welcome. We loved sitting in the main area eating yummy food and drinks. It is stunning looking out on to the rice fields. We explored Tanah Lot and Ubud from here. There is a nice cafe, restaurant and massage places a short walk away. Every where else we just took grab.

New ZealandThe bed was advertised as extra large dbl but was only an elderly queen mattress with lots of "trampoline" bouncing when anyone moved in the night.
Beautiful, tiny resort with views over the rice fields in front. Only 5 mins drive to tanah Lot. Food is excellent. Breakfasts were the best in the last 4 weeks & both dinners were great with plenty of non-indonesian options. & the homemade bread rolls at each meal were simply Devine! The pool was very clean with lots of very comfortable, padded sun loungers in good condition. Grounds were well care for & attractive. We will probably come again.

United KingdomThe only disadvantage of this place is it’s a little remote from anything if you want to walk. We did walk to Tanah Lot, but it involved some road walking! However Grabs pick up and drop off here and they have bikes.
It had a wonderful relaxed, quiet vibe and beautiful setting. We loved it here.

SerbiaNo complaints, everything was just perfect!
The whole property is just perfect. The resort is located in the area filled with nature, and contains pool and a restaurant. From the restaurant you have a nice view on the rice fields and while we were there you could see farmers working throughout the day. The complete staff together with the owner are amazing and always willing to help out with any recommendations on what to visit and what to avoid. The food is delicious, you have a fixed breakfast menu that is able to cover everyone’s needs (my wife is a vegan while I am not, and both of us were delighted with food). Special kudos to the staff on their fresh juices - as we spent 19 days on Bali and in most cases we received juices that were watered down, but in Coco Verde you could just taste the difference and that it is 100% squeezed juice. The bungalow was awesome! As we were on our honeymoon the staff created a lovely decoration wishing us a happy honeymoon. Bungalows are specious, nicely decorated and distanced one from the other so people are not stepping on anyone’s toes. All in all, I would definitely recommend Coco Verde to anyone looking to stay in Tanah Lot or Canggu.
