Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe only issues were: [1] the air conditioning unit didn't work, which was disappointing but we were ok, [2] there was a huge amount of mould in the bathroom on the ceilings and the silicone around the bath, I went to check my friend's room and it was the same there, too. I'm assuming because of the humidity [3] the shower would switch between temperatures within seconds, so showering was extremely difficult. Luckily we only stayed one night, so we didn't have to deal with it but also, it was too short of a stay for anything to be done while we were there. Besides those 3 issues, the hotel is super beautiful and if those issues were resolved, I would highly recommend it!
We enjoyed the hotel - it was very cute and in a secluded location. There are a lot of stairs to get to the rooms, however, it's a few here and there as opposed to one long stairway, so I didn't mind at all but just in case you need to be aware mobility wise. The bedrooms were very clean, the beds are super comfy, and the rooms are very spacious - there was so much room, even with both suitcases, bags and clothes hung up, and four of us in the room to meet before leaving, it was not crowded! The balcony overlooked the swimming pool and it was incredibly calming sitting out there in the early hours of the morning through the sunrise. Just to mention, you do have a little bit of a walk -- to the sister hotel -- to get to the resturant but it's worth it - the food is super afforable and extremely well made. Plus, it overlooks a valley and is absolutely gorgeous to go down for breakfast. Get the fruit smoothies, they are incredible! The staff are incredibly kind (as everywhere in Bali) and hospitable.

AustraliaThis is a great place for people who want to spend time away from the central, populated area. However, it was very inconvenient without a car. I also don't think my timing was good to stay here. Location, broken A/C (later fixed), An uninformed building photoshoot on the day I arrived that I wasn't aware (photographers were very nice, but still...),, a sudden request for a favour to co-operate the photoshoot through WhatsApp, no shuttle to the central (suddenly cancelled, driver was not well), a difficult location to catch Grab (easily waiting 40-60min). I stayed at a room on the ground (11B). The overall room and toilet were also muggy, mouldy, and humid. It was quiet most of the times when I stayed here because there weren't much people staying. However, I could see a noise problem due to the public area in the centre of the building.
Pretty, aesthetic space, friendly staff, filtered water, welcome ginger tea, easy access to nature.

IndonesiaFrom the moment I arrived, I was enveloped in a sense of serenity that lingered throughout my stay. I definitely left with a longing to return, knowing I'd found a special place to escape and rejuvenate.

United KingdomWell... where do I even start? We had a leak from the ceiling, and at first, I thought it was just a minor/new issue, so I didn’t make a big deal about it. However, I later saw comments on Google with pictures from someone staying in the room next to ours, and I realised it’s an ongoing problem that no one seems to be fixing! It’s shocking because, with water dripping constantly, I’m certain the ceiling could eventually collapse. The paint from the ceiling was everywhere on the floor. The day before we left, the toilet stopped working, the shower head was broken, and the bathtub was damaged too 🙄. When you start paying attention, it’s clear the place wasn’t very clean either. There wasn't even a normal shower. There was no curtains, there was just a bath with a really low broken shower head. How to take shower comfortably? I don't know 🤷♀️ The steps around the garden need proper maintenance, with grass overgrowing the stairs and becoming too high. The hotel is literally in the middle of nowhere. While the staff was friendly, most of them didn’t speak English, making communication very difficult. The only positives were the comfortable beds and pillows, and the food was decent. The view from the so-called “reception” (which doesn’t really feel like a proper reception) was nice, but overall, the hotel just gave off bad vibes. We didn’t feel comfortable staying there.
