The nearest beach isn’t a beach were you can swim. Instead we went to Pantai Selukat with the motor bike.

We had a great stay at Cucukan Beach Guest House. The staff is kind and hospitable. They take good care of their guests. The room is clean and well furnished. The bathroom is spacious, is clean and smells clean. The food is freshly made.

Only thing could be the absent of concrete the last few meters to reach the stay but totally manageable.

Staff is delicious. Rooms have plenty of space and super clean. 3 minutes from the beach. They should charge double the price for a place like this.

Like most other places in Bali: Tall pillows and an AC just above the bed so you'll have wind down your neck the whole night.

The pictures does not do this place justice, nor the price. This being our 10th place to stay on our travel around Bali/Lombok, it was the most comfortable, with the cleanest room, excellent breakfast and idyllic surrounding. The nearby beach is gorgeous, with black sand and locals enjoying the surf sized waves. And the Marine park is walking distance, just across the road. It way surpassed our expectations from a low priced guest house, beating our best experiences from more pricy resorts. Bonus: Warung Legong is a nearby restaurant with excellent food in really nice atmosphere, which also offers free transportation and deliveries to the guest house.

We would loved to have some hand soap and hand towels in the bathroom. Road (not long distance) to guest house is quite bumpy.

We chose this guest house because it's very close to Bali safari. Guest house staff was friendly and helpful. Place has outdoor pool and catering options. Our room was in first floor, it was clean and in good technical condition. We had short, but nice stay here.

A bit far from activities such as restaurant. The hotel proposes dinner but it is a little bit overpriced.

There were a few issues with the AC that needed attention but only in one of the 3 rooms I'd stayed in over the course of 2 weeks. The wifi was still spotty and would fail at times but overall it was decent. The last room I stayed in had lots of ants in the bathroom. I didn't notice them at first but they were in the shower, walls and by the toilet. There were none in the room, just the bathroom.

Love the staff, they're wonderfully accommodating and sweet. The hot water and water pressure was immaculate. It's quiet, near the beach, and the property has really good energy. The beds are comfy and there are only 7 rooms, so it's never too loud or crowded. They were kind enough to let me cook whenever I asked, or make changes to my order if I didn't eat certain items. Always smiling, and ensuring the stay was memorable.

The wifi was a bit slow at times and there were a few days where it would disconnect for an hour or so, but once back up, it would auto connect with no problems. I alerted the manager and she assured me that she'd look into it.

Breakfast was great and included in the cost, which made it even better. The rooms and prices for food are very affordable, much more than hotels. The water was hot and AC was cold. Excellent water pressure. I liked the mini bar in each room, which is not something offered at many places. The staff is wonderful, very friendly and sweet. I truly loved that they remembered my orders and tailored things just for me (like putting a napkin over my drink to avoid bugs, always giving me TakeAway utensils since I do not use metal ones, knowing how I like my order, remembering my name). Such attention to detail makes the stay that much more enjoyable.

Like every place we have stayed in Bali so far the bed is too firm. But we are used to a very plush bed so that may not be too fair.

The staff were exceptional, great food, we stayed to be close to Mara Safari Park, I think next time we will stay at Cucukan Beach and day trip to Mara.

Nothing it was perfect

This guest house was such the perfect stay before going to the safari park. It was the best night sleep, the bed and bedding were so comfy. The food was tasty and good value. The staff were so helpful and even gave me a lift to the safari park. Thanks for such a great stay!

- Squeaky clean and spacious room - A very new and modern facility - Great team of people managing the day to day life of the guest house and going the extra mile to help you out with everything (thanks for everything guys) - The coolest and most down to earth manager, Desi, thank you so much for all your help and all the great talks we had - A pool to die for - Great location right of Cucukan and Keramas beach - if you’re surfing this is the spot to have an amazing session and avoid the crowds - The overall vibe of the place is just amazing - Proximity to Ubud and Gianyar (Ubud is what it is, but Gianyar offers a chilled local vibe with a lot of spa spots/handcraft/amazing local restaurants)

I was unlucky to have a nice room with bad leaking air conditioning.

Everything was just perfect for me. Fresh clean air. Less noice pollution. Very near to convenient store. 5-8min walking to the beach. Less tourists attraction. Paddy field just next to it. Peaceful surrounding & very nice worker too
