She didn't have a phone and the hair dryer was broken, and what's better is that a better ventilation system was used instead of a fan

The room had a unique view and I recommend this hotel if you are looking for a dream stay The collision of employees was great

There are a few downsides. The walk from your room to the main entrance is quite steep leaving you breathless any time you wish to go out. They do not offer any kind of battery operated vehicles to pick you up or drop you to your rooms. Even to reach the restaurant, it's a bit of trek. Also, the whole place, especially the buildings seemed a bit old and not maintained as good as a 4-star property should be. This place is ideally for couples only and we made the mistake of booking it for friends. Which made the bathroom situation a bit awkward as they have only clear glass doors in the bathroom allowing zero privacy inside the room. Also, if you wish to go out, while they do offer a paid cab service, if you wish to rent a scooter you won't find anything nearby. Any place you wish to visit from here will be far. So choose this place if your main agenda is to relax.

Location was amazing. Away from any kind of disturbance and providing great privacy. Ideal for if you wish to spend all your time in the resort. The breakfast was decent and prepared fresh for you. The rooms were really big.

Location is far from everything - attractions, restaurants, towns - but perfect for a peaceful getaway. Insects - as expected deep in the jungle. Be prepared to organise your own tours. For the destination tours on the hotel website, the pages didn't load past Book Now. Provided there WhatsApp number - no answer. Once we arrived, the staff gave us the driver's number - we had a call - only to learn the next morning that he had already left with other guests prior to our agreed time! The staff helped us find another driver, but I still had to arrange it. Saying that, all the activities organized at the hotel - floating breakfast, picnic in the rice fields, massage - went smoothly and were easy to book with the staff.

Absolutely stunning view from the pool and the restaurant! The restaurant menu is limited, but all the options we've tried were good. The staff were friendly and helpful. Clean rooms, pool, and common areas. Loved the stylized facilities and amenities. The massage was superb!

Bed sheets and robes were a bit dirty. They seem to be washed but still with dirty spots. The staff can replace it upon your request but be prepared that all services are available only until 9:00 pm. Also you have to be prepared for humidity as the hotel is located in the jungle. And it is slightly far away from civilization.

The hotel is small and there you have a lot of space just for you, nobody can interrupt you. View from the hotel and swimming pool is breathtaking. The staff is so kind and helpful. Recomended if you don't like crowds of other guests and want to enjoy a beautiful nature together with your love. Just be cautious (with the bed sheets and robes), and your stay will be unforgettable.

Staff to be a little more communitive and probably more of them! They seemed very understaffed when we were there. Not sure how much longer I could have walked those steps!

The pool was lovely, the villas were perfect, the staff were great although a little non communitive, didn't have a few things we asked for.

1- LOCATION: far away & quite isolated, nearest tourist area is Ubud city, which is 30 min away by car, not only this but the hotel has limited access to anything and difficult to find transportation. ( we ended up sorting it ourselves). Unfortunately this was a big inconvenience for us as it limited our exploration. 2- Safety: many many maaany stairs to the dara suits villas (200+, yes we counted), on high elevations without any safety rails, the stones are placed near the edge of the high hills, which we found hazardous & may cause serious injuries to elderly and minors. 3- cleanliness: bed sheets had old stains on them (blood spots..), on the first night, bedsheets were quite damp & uncomfortable. Toilets were not as clean as expected. 4- Rooms: old, some beds were moldy and could use some renovation, also we were overwhelmed with too many insects, mosquitoes bites & gecko poop on bedsheets and pillows (awful smell especially at night). 5- food: restaurant was too expensive & breakfast almost always not cooked nicely and had very limited options. As for water we struggled quite a bit with this one, not enough water and hydration. (Hotel did offer more small water bottles).

We stayed as a family of 6 adults for 8 days at this hotel: 1- Excellent service, Staff were consistently extremely helpful and accommodating. Kind, attentive & responded to every feedback. 2- Views are breathtaking, surrounded by beautiful nature views of rice field, serene relaxing and quiet. In person the place is even more stunning than photos describes. 3- Restaurant’s food was excellent, we enjoyed a verity of meals. 4-Spa: excellent message provided by therapist. The views and staff service made up for the inconveniences below.

Outdoor toilets are not always ideal, but was okay. Also because its secluded transport can be an issue sometimes. Grab works most of the time, but at times it doesnt. Responsiveness is not always 100% from the staff. But these are minor, overall very nice experience. The best accomodation I stayed in Bali.

Everything was nice. Overall very happy, some small issues could be improved. Location is secluded which makes it special is like living in the jungle

The food is not good and the price is very high. They really need to hire someone who knows cooking good. Is necessary to make a big stock of beverages and food. In 4 days they finished the rom, the bier, the krimer, the vodka. This is not normal especially when then have only 11 rooms.

The room, pool, the area is verry nice.

The location of the accommodation vs the hotspots. It’s mostly an hour driving time to the famous places in Ubud.

The view, the design, the beautiful room (swimming pool view) and the bathroom. It’s a perfect honeymoon accommodation but you also can enjoy it with the Family and friends. The view is wonderful and the people are very friendly and helpful.

The nights were very noisy and the rooms not well isolated. The blankets and pillows were a bit smelly/dirty, we think this is due to the humidity and a gekko who was living in the roof over the bed and pooped down on the bed, floor etc.

We really liked the food and the location, it is located in the jungle surrounded by rice fields. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The infinity pools were very cool, the water too cold for us though. The bathroom was open and a very special atmosphere.

There were ants in one of our rooms which weren’t attended to and we had a tokay gecko in the other. Reported on the first night but only on attempt was made to remove it. Therefore had very little sleep. Some of the wooden parts of the hotel such as decking and doors are ageing and could do with repair. They ran out of wine on second night and didn’t get any more supplies in. We only wanted a bottle with dinner.

It is a beautiful property in the middle of the jungle. The gardens were really well designed and maintained , just like a fairytale. The rooms all very secluded and the views amazing every way you look. The staff all very friendly and helpful. The rooms are beautifully designed and bedding spotless. The pool is stunning - just as the photos show.
