Just choose a right time going to Gilis , not to ketch the rainy season

We were are staying for a second time already, with family and two kids. The location is fantastic, very calm, you can enjoy your breakfast right in a beach. Javanese style houses gives an authentic experience. Stuff help us to install a bed for kid, so everyone we’re very comfortable. Whole family had a nice time!

Lack of privacy with Beachfront Villa as directly in front of public thoroughfare. Ocean can be seen but not beach. Climbing required to get in very comfy bed as very high and has wide surround.

There was nothing to dislike

The hotel is amazingly beautiful in a gorgeous peaceful location walking distance to bars and restaurants and near sunset point and turtle beach. I fell ill on arrival in Gili T, and staff were so supportive and liked after me so well.

Everything was perfect!

Highly recommend a stay at Desa Dunia Beda! Best breakfast we’ve had on our travels, staff is super friendly and the house we rented was spacious, clean and well equipped. It is located on the more quieter part of the island but everything is with in reach with the bicycles they rent out. Breakfast on the beach with turtles coming up for air was one of the highlights of our trip.

Not the villas fault as can't do anything about it. The access to the sea is full of stones and coral, so you won't be able to swim and turtle watch easily. You definitely need sea shoes

Location away from the main strip but only a 10 minute cycle ride away. The villas are spacious and has everything you need. The staff are brilliant and we helped an older staff member with the villa cat Sophie and took her to the vet. Hope she now returned an ok.

WiFi was soso. Pavement from main building to bungalows made of single bricks, difficult to walk but dont worry - they will take care to bring your luggage with a handcart. One day it seemed that the type of fruit we asked for was not available, so they made up something that seemed to be nectar. No big deal, but we would have preferred a forehand warning.

Lovely location, next to the snorkeling beach, at 15 mins horse car ride from the ferry port. Breakfast and Restaurant really great, attention from staff outstanding. Everything we asked for, they took immediately care of. Walking from your Bungalow to the beach, just standing knees deep in the ocean and already seeing all those colored fishes - priceless. But dont forget your snorkeling / coral shoes! Will need to enter the ocean.

This resort is located right on the beach, between Turtle Shore and Sunset Area of Gili Trawangan. The Size of the villa is Big and facilities and amenities provided are on point. The view from the Ocean View Villa is peaceful. Definitely recommend staying here! 🤩

The hotel was very far away from the main restaurants and shops.

The hotel was beautiful, the room was very big, beds were comfortable. The staff was very nice and kind. The food was good. We had every meal outside watching the ocean

I do not have enough words to thank everyone, the staff and the incredible management at this resort. Way above all expectations. The location, away from the hustle yet in a very perfect sunset spot. The food, not even worth keeping on trying other spots. The staff especially Dewa what a sweet heart. Everyone else was simply amazing too. I will return, and this time for a whole month! Oh the path to our Vila! it’s a little rocky and in flip flops could easily trip

Only ‘issue’ we had was that we felt the hut was a bit dark despite all the lamps. Other than that, no complaints at all!

We loved our stay here, especially as it wasn’t in the heart of the parties Gili T is more known for. The beach hut was lovely, we had lovely breakfasts on the beach, and the hotel is just up from Turtle Point on the beach so we rented to free snorkelling equipment from the hotel for this. The staff are fantastic, and made our stay. All the staff were lovely and friendly, we had a few dinners and plenty of drinks and they couldn’t help us enough. Dewa was particularly helpful from our first stay at the hotel. Thank you for such a fantastic stay! Also - please make sure to look after the short tailed cat who we have named Kiko - we loved her visits on the beach every day 😊

There were better places nearby to eat but the food was good. I think they should include the bikes but they charge per day so if you just want to pop to the shop you still have to pay the day rate. The rooms are lovely but very dark and we couldn’t open up the windows because of security.

For us the location was perfect very peaceful part of the island with lots of good restaurants around.

We liked everything

The location was fantastic, and the room was beautifully decorated. There's hardly anything to fault—the staff were incredible, as were the food and cocktails. Gili and Desa were the highlight of our Bali trip. We can't wait to come back.

Having to leave and sound our last night at another noisy place on Gili T ( we couldn't get the extra night as they were totally booked out).

Great location away from the busy port hub of Gili T. Bungalows were spread out and helped with privacy. Breakfasts were awesome on the beach and sunset views were amazing. Spent 4 nights and lived every moment. Will certainly be back again!
