The place is so peaceful and staff is really nice and friendly. They check on us everytime if we are okay with our stay. My husband is sick on our last day and the staff bought us medicines from pharmacy at night. Excelent service. Will stay again in thr future.

Desa Hay is so beautiful. I really enjoyed Munduk Cabins so I wanted to try out Desa Hay in Canggu. I'm so glad I did. The rooms, the garden and pool area are all so well done. Just a beautiful place. The staff are very kind and attentive. There was a storm that caused a power outage in all of Canggu, and Desa Hay was so kind to apologize and offer a gift for the trouble, even though they didn't have to, it was not their fault. They really do go above and beyond in terms of customer service.

I'm picky, and only noticed two small things -- the kitchen was a bit slow to prepare the food (but the food is great and clean), and the furniture in our room needs felt pads so it doesn't scrape on the floor. Like I said -- these are nits. Everything else (and there's a lot that could potentially go wrong in any hotel) was flawless.

This place is like a private villa in a James Bond movie. Lovely design with lots of great details. Well trained and attentive staff. SUPER quiet. Fast internet and lots of outlets. Great tasting food. Easy to get to.

There's not much to find wrong with Desa Hay! Perhaps the music around the pool could have been varied a bit more (but staff did obligingly put on a particular artist when we requested). The property is quite a distance from the main restaurants and bars of Canggu. No a huge issue for us and easy enough to get reception to organise transport, but if you're a person that likes to walk straight out into the middle of it all, you may find that inconvenient.

An oasis, away from the hustle and bustle, on the outskirts of Canggu. The villas are stunning, from the the antique style balinese gates to the stylish decor of the room and the luxury of the bathroom, it's like a secret garden. We had friends staying in one of the other villas, so it was great having the choice of using our own private plunge pool, or getting together at the larger shared pool, plus meeting for breakfast or drinks at the beautifully designed restaurant overlooking the pool (loved the ambiance). The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. We had a couple of meals there too, and all were nice. Sacrilege perhaps, but chef accommodated our request for spinach in our Butter Chicken because we hadn't had many veggies that day and felt like we needed some to keep our energy up - works for Popeye :)

It was an absolute amazing experience, everything was completely wonderful. We went for our engagement 💍 and, oh my God, it was so magical. We've met Scott the owner, he's really kind and he gave us a gift four our engagement, we've been so happy. The design of the hotel is beautiful, the staff is so kind and professional, we were served by Putri at Ijo restaurant, and she made our dinner even more perfect....oh and you have to try the Nagamera cocktail..so tastyyyyyy. We will DEFINITELY come back to this place of Heaven...100% sure Thank you verymuch for everything to made this night so perfect for us 👩‍❤️‍👨💍

Everything was absolutely exceptional. The bed was lush and comfortable, the shower was amazing, good water pressure and temperature control 😍 Definitely recommend the burger at the restaurant too! Big shout out to Scott, Julia and Mandy for making us feel so at home. We will be back!! ❤️🙏

The perfect getaway in Bali, so clean and you have everything you need from the amenities they provide to the outstanding level of service. They have put things in the room you didn’t think you need & the cherry on top they were able to accommodate our late checkout request which was very helpful.

Amazing pool area with double couches and palm trees surrounded. The private villas are luxury, very modern, very nice ambience also at night, own little pool, very compfy bed and amazing open rain shower, we loved it! We could stay the full day in the pool area After checking out as our flights back started in the evening, which was really great!

A wonderful honeymoon stay. Superb villas with fantastic attention to detail in the furnishings - including filtered water from the e tap! Private and secluded but with outstanding service from the staff. Great food in the restaurant.

Completely outside the control of Desa Hay but there is building occurring in nearby properties which impacted on how often we used our outdoor areas due to the noise.

Desa Hay is a slice of paradise on earth. An amazing place to unwind and relax. Amazing villas, food and facilities and the loveliest staff. Thank you for hosting us!

There is nothing I didn’t like

What did I not like!! My jabu was I N C R E D I B L E. The dream after 3 years of solid work. I came for a week and ended up extending my trip in Indonesia for a month. As a solo traveler I was a bit nervous the hotel would have too many honeymoon vibes… while it had all that, I felt completely comfortable on my own. Tbh I didn’t leave the hotel to the 2nd to last day of my stay which is really unlike me 😝 The staff were incredible especially the beautiful Mandy and wonderful Anton (but everyone made me feel like a best friend and I’m sorry for not name dropping everyone as too many to name) and for that I was truly grateful! The property is immaculate, decadent but totally comfortable and felt like your home-away-from-home (but much nicer than your own house haha ❤️). Loved everyone and everything and as a realist I’m going back for my last 3 nights in Indonesia. Perfect hospitality, perfect accommodation, perfectly perfect. As a result I’m going back for 3 more nights at the end of my trip.
