The hostel is very clean, bed is broad and, bathroom is very clean. Everything is very neat. Service is like hotel which is why it's called hostel with hotel service. The family who owns this hostel also lives there is separate house, even they are the owner but they are so nice, so kind, and very helpful. It was durian season when I came and they offer me durian everyday so I ate so much durian FREE 😋 Bli Dedi who manages the hostel is a 5-star service. Very helpful and he also guided me to explore the area. If you need a guide, you can call Dedi.

Location is a bit remote - you definitely need a scooter to get around. I loved the location though! A swimming pool would be an amazing addition!

Amazing stay! Relatively small hostel, so easy get to know all other guests. Have dinner together and okay games. A good place to relax and explore the beautiful nature around northern Bali!

The place is really nice, you have a common area with a pool table, they offer food and the hosts are really welcoming. The place is surrounded by rice fields and the views and vibes are beautiful and chill. I would have stayed longer.

A little out of the way of Munduk and main activities places. Not much to do in the very close area. But with a scooter it's not a problem. If you don't drive scooter you can organize tour with Dedi tho.

I loved the staff, Dedi the manager is very welcoming and willing to help you organize your trip around Munduk area. If something wrong in the hostel Dedi will fix it fast. Clean place, very spacious, luminous, very comfy beds. Laundry, billiard, balcony, garden, tables to eat outside. Football fields ! You can order food here at honest price. The food is tasty Near an unbusy road so it's quiet. The wish of Dedi is to make an hostel with the standard of an hotel and it's a success.

I loved everything about my stay ind Munduk. The place was beautiful. The rooms were clean and you slept so well in the beds. But most of all the staff was absolutely amazing. Dedi is the best host you will ever get. He has a passion for his profession and is just a wonderful person overall. Would recommend this place to anyone who wants a break from the chaotic Bali life and really wish to embrace the beauty and nature of the North 🌺

The location is a little outside. But this is no problem, because the hostel can organize transport if necessary and mopeds are available for hire.

Nice Hostel with real friendly stuff and a real kind local guide, good breakfast, clean bath-rooms and big and comfortable beds. By the way all the facilities are handmade. The area around the hostel is quiet, the beautiful nature and a beautiful sunsetpoint is near the hostel. So there is everything you need.

I could not be more satisfied, grateful and happy with the whole experience I've had in Desa Hostel. It's a hidden paradise for a traveller who is seeking for a true, authentic connection with the local people and nature. It's more than a perfect place to either explore the surroundings or recharge and relax. There is a lot of space in the hostel, you can do yoga, read a book, play pool... I especially loved the balcony from where you can enjoy in the view of the nature and beautiful sunsets. And the backyard is very very beautiful. Special thanks to the person who is more than just a host, Dedi. Dedi is trully passionate about his job, he makes sure you have your best time in the hostel. I have never met a person who would give so much of himself into the work, he is so caring, generous and friendly. I came very exhausted from the travel and hiking, so Dedi made some traditional remedies for me, I really felt like part of family. He told us a lot about Balinese culture and tradition. He also took us to the rice terrace to watch the sunset, which was amazing. He helped us a lot with organizing the tour to Mount Batur, waterfalls and other activities. The food in the hostel is delicious, the bedrooms and bathrooms are very clean and comfortable. I was planning to stay 3 nights but I extended for one more because I liked it so much. I would definitely come back.

Best hostel I stayed in for sure! The host (Dedy) is amazing! He will make sure you have the best time. Since he’s been a tour guide he knows everything about the area and has some great tips on what to do. He will arrange the taxi for you as well. The place is super clean and the beds are the most comfortable I’ve experienced in my whole trip. The food at the hostel is also really tasty and I’m so glad I stayed here! Thanks again Dedy!

This place is just perfect. The host is a very nice guy that is very knowledgeable about the nature and area in general. The quality of the beds can be compared with high end 5 star resort beds. The food is also amazing. They will spoil you with different local things!

Absolutely nothing to dislike!

The hostel is brand new (they opened in August 2023) with very good facilities. It’s the only hostel in te area, which makes your stay a really nice local experience. The beds are really comfortable and a little bigger than usual (in Indonesia). They provide towels and they serve good traditional food. The staff is extremely nice and always willing to help out!
