Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaThe noise. It was the loudest I’ve ever experienced in my life. Imagine having no windows at all and hearing every sound. I couldn’t fall asleep all night and.. I’m a very heavy sleeper. That’s the only drawback here but it’s a huge one.
The property is stunning: the views, the comfort, the amenities. I loved the birds chirping outside, it felt magical during the day.

United KingdomWe had a rat in our bedroom at 2AM! The staff were never around and refused to help us, like you can just go back to sleep when that happens?! Lots of children screaming day and night.
The bed was amazing and location very good.

South AfricaIt was too noisy and there were a few power cuts. Given that this accommodation is right next to the road soundproofing is definitely needed. Cars and motorbikes constantly passing even until the morning hours. There were also construction on the roof behind, so it was just a lot of noise constantly. I'm pretty chilled with these things, but it did affect my stay and sleep as I had to sleep with earplugs and they were not always enough to block the sounds coming from outside unfortunately. This is a beautiful room, it's just in a very unfortunate location.
This is a very modern and beautiful room. The full view windows provides such a great touch and the room was very comfortable to stay in. The staff comes to clean the room everyday, but you only receive water upon check in. I didn't really try the breakfast so I can't review that. The staff are all very helpful. Everything is as the pictures portrays. It's right near the main road so you have access to so many shops, stores, restaurants, etc. However... this comes with a downside too as it's so so noisy. You're in the heart of Ubud center.

AustraliaDon't get me wrong it's a great room but there were some cons. The noise, there was so much road noise, noise from the area and construction. They provided earplugs for sleeping which were very needed. There were a lot of stairs to get up to the room, they helped me up and down with my suitcase. The room flooded in the front when it rained really hard twice. And the power went out during my stay (not the normal bali blackouts) the fuse on my room must have switched. And it is in the busiest spot in Ubud so there is a loot of road and foot traffic. No treadmill as pictured.
The room is gorgeous, the bed is super comfy, the bathroom is very pretty. There is a lovely view from the patio of the room. It's in the centre of the busy area of ubud, close walking distance to the markets, heaps of shops and restaurants nearby. Great price for the room. Koman was very helpful.

SwitzerlandI stayed two nights and on the first one the owner had to fix something in the room above. The construction noise lastet until 1 AM, so unfortunately I couldn't sleep before that. But I spoke to the owner and was offered a whole meal as a concession. Thank you for that!
I loved the location and the size and facilities of the room.

IndonesiaVery noisy. Room felt insecure and very exposed as the curtains did not fully cover the floor-to-ceiling glass windows. At night, with the lights on, it doesn't feel private at all. The sliding doors also didn't fit properly, so when they were locked closed, they could still be opened about 2 cm. I felt insecure and only stayed one night, though I had planned to stay six. Two oranges were provided, but they were mouldy. Big plant in bathroom was dead. A really depressing and insecure room. Don't stay here.

New ZealandSuper noisy at Night and In the morning so theres a short window from 12-1am to 6am to sleep, The Sink and toilet need plumbing addressed. Entrance door needs fixing and handles on both doors. Double glazed glass would be 'expected' and 'required' for its location and construction and for the feasibility for long-term operations.
Cool Style, Enjoyed the hanging chair thing and the fact of windows all around. Excellent Aircon. A chair to work at the desk.

IndiaThis room is on 2nd floor with huge steps to climb to the room. Carrying your luggage becomes very difficult. Their staff is half of the times not available. They provide host and care takers WhatsApp no. But extremely poor response on both Whtsapp messages and don’t even answer their calls. I was traveling solo and being a girls also they didn’t bother. I had also asked them not to open my room in my absence but they did for cleaning irrespective. This made me question my safety at their property. Rooms main door lock was broken to add to my unsafe feeling. Extremely uncooperative host. Doesn’t help guide or cooperate for anything you would want help on. Have never seen this kind of behaviour from a host in Bali. Also as this place is on the actual main road you should probably forget peacefully sleep as the glass walls are not at all sound proof and the market road keeps getting vehicles speeding and making extremely loud noise entire night. I was staying for 3 nights and couldn’t sleep peacefully for 1 night. I was traveling early mornings so had requested the host to provide me with a breakfast box as I will be missing out on my buffet breakfast that was added to my final package but I was provided with 2 extremely dry breads and a over ripped banana with a jam packet to eat. Extremely unacceptable box that I had to throw away.
It is located in the the main market road. Barely 500 meters from Ubud palace and 1.2 kms from monkey forest. Has a lot of food options and market shops in less than 5 mints walking on the main road.

IndiaThere's no reception (says Ayu House, saw no sign which says Dewa house), no room service, it's difficult to find anyone if need anything. There's hardly anyone at the reception. Told the guy to get room cleaned in morning, but it was not when I came back in evening. Breakfast was served at Divya Restaurant, within the building premises, breakfast was ok, can skip, just serve pancakes with coffee.
Excellent room with private balcony, right in center of Ubud. It's actually a hostel but on the top floor they have one private room with balcony.

GermanyIt was nasty, the room was dirty, we had mold on our curtain, when we showed the staff we got laughed at and told that mold only exists on walls and it’s completely normal… also the WiFi didn’t work we asked for them to take a look three times, nothing happened. The bedsheets were stained so that we slept with our own stuff. And underneed the picture over the bed frame was so much dirt as seen on the pictures. And the bathroom was not clean at all and for a shared bathroom this is a must. Also the power went off - can happen but still- and there were ants in the room and bathroom. Did not like our experience at all
the location was in the central of ubud

United KingdomSince it’s close to main road you can hear absolutely any noise from there, make sure you get exhausted everyday and you won’t bothered with any noise at your sleeping time.
In the middle of monkey forest, you can walk everywhere, it’s a bit hard when you have a car, a bit walk to car park, not too far though.

IndonesiaThe room is extremely noisy (the owner's children play, scream and cry right next door, the noise of the cars). I had to leave and choose another hotel, I paid $20 for nothing because it's not refundable the bedroom window cannot be completely closed, which means that we hear all the noises as if we were sleeping outside in a tent. We hear the neighbor as if he were in the room with us, and since the bathroom is shared, we hear the neighbor slamming the doors. If you are looking to have a good sleep, don't go here. 20€ seems expensive to me for an extremely noisy shared room, it's worth 10€
The location was good, right in the center
