Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

NetherlandsThe accommodation is very clean, tidy and the owners are incredibly friendly and welcoming. They make sure you have the best stay. The breakfast is truly amazing, the best breakfast of my trip. The location is perfect, the scenery was amazing. As a female solo traveller, it felt very safe and it felt like home. Best stay in Ubud I could’ve wished for.

Wayan and his family keep an amazing place here. Everyone is so nice and the breakfast is super delicious. It's one of the best places I have ever stayed at. It's a quiet and peaceful oasis close (5 min walking) to a beautiful but otherwise loud Ubud. Super spacious rooms, lots of natural light and the cleanliness is top! For sure I will stay here again next time I'm in Ubud.

United StatesEden House is a bit of a walk up a narrow alley, so when we arrived, we had to walk with our suitcases 100m or so from the street to our room. But when we left, the hosts took our suitcases back down on their mini-motorbike. If walking 100m rolling your suitcase (initially uphill) is unacceptable, you can hire a motorbike driver to take your suitcases up, or perhaps arrange beforehand with the hosts to help out.
The room was spacious and very clean with lovely views from the front and back balconies. The hosts were amazing - friendly, fun (and funny) and helpful. They gave excellent tips on nearby restaurants - e.g., Warung Boga Sari and Miro's. Great breakfasts on a fantastic deck (see the photo). Good location away from the craziness of the main street and close to a nice rice field walk. A gamelan orchestra practicing nearby in the early evening provided a charming backdrop.

AnguillaVery peaceful and beautiful property, traditional Balinese architecture building with very unique doors windows and wood carvings, it’s clean and always smells fresh, beautiful garden and beautiful view of the rice field, the owner Mr. Wayan and Ibu Kadek is very kind and helpful, there is no limit for your needs and they will help you with everything, I was sick during my visit, and Mr. Wayan helped me to go to see the doctor. I’m very appreciative for his help. Tasty breakfast is served every morning prepared by Ibu Kadek and her kind assistant. Breakfast is upstairs on the top roof which you can enjoyed your breakfast and beautiful view. After breakfast, usually Ibu Kadek will ask what you would like to have breakfast for the next day, all the foods on the menu are so delicious. the staff is very friendly (our housekeeper Alit or Gusti not sure his name) is very polite and humble always ready to assist for our help with a smile, nothing to complain about staying at Eden House Ubud, very recommend

VietnamThe only thing that you should mind is the long way and uphill from the main road to Eden House. It is a bit dark at night and there is a tiny cannal. You might see the water snake there. It is not harmful however.
Everything is excellent, very clean and new. The hosts are so so friendly. The view is wonderful. Nothing to complain. I will definitely come back.

United StatesI really did like everything.
The location was perfect, close enough yet far enough away from town center. The breakfast and hosts Wayan and Kadek were exceptional. So so clean and comfortable. I would recommend this B&B and will stay there again. It was just what I needed after traveling through SE Asia the month prior.

AustraliaThere was nothing I didn’t like 😊
Eden house has such beautiful rooms, with very comfortable beds and huge bathroom. The location is lovely, overlooking the rice fields but very close to the Main Street. The rooms were made up everyday to a very high standard (clean sheets every day!!) and the family were so lovely and helpful. Breakfast was amazing as well! When I had to leave for the airport very early on my last day, Wayan was up to help me carry my bags AND had made be a take away breakfast 😍. This is a beautiful place to stay - highly recommend!

VietnamNothing really. Some people might not like having their stuff moved and put in drawers, but I found the tidying aspect welcome. Also, this is not a negative per se, but if you state your breakfast for a certain time, it will be served up around 20-25 minutes later (because they take care to prepare it!) – so one could say hi and appear for breakfast and then temporarily go back to your room for 20 minutes if desired.
Very helpful hosts. Lovely property in general, nice architecture. Great location because it's down an almost silent small winding path which is quite atmospheric, yet only a few minutes' walk from the centre of Ubud. Lovely ricefield views. Very diligent cleaning and tidying every day. Tasty breakfast!

United KingdomThis is minor, but if we were to find one thing, it would be the little walking lane to get to the homestay where we encountered a decently sized snake after the thunderstorm, which flopped off from the greenery beside us into the monsoon drain... we have a rather strong aversion to snakes.
Breakfast to order (the day before) on the lovely roof terrace with calming rice field views. The floor to ceiling windows in the bedrooms framing a wall like a beautiful picture of the green natural surrounds outside. The warmth and hospitality of the owners and their staff.
