Very beautiful maintained. Quiet. Exquisite beaches reachable by a 10 minute walk. No one at the beach for miles and miles. The food at the restay is excellent. The staff is relaxed and friendly. Fantastic Balinese yoga teacher, Nicky, five minute walk from the property.

The sofa bed wasn’t actually a sofa bed, just a small sofa. And when I asked to change our room because of that they didn’t respect the price that booking.com has, the check in process was very unprofessional and we were very tired with 2 little kids, nobody help us with the luggage, it was raining and the room was very far from the parking. In general the staff was very unprofessional, not all of them. The restaurant is a little expensive also. The cleaning guys went to our room to give me back my sunglasses that I forgot in the other room, (appreciate that) but my partner was naked after her shower and they just were standing up looking at her for ages like if it was ok until she realised and I had to run to close the curtains. When they were walking off one even turn around to have another look… they definitely should have come back 5 minutes later to wait for her to get dress but they just decided to just stay and look for as long as they could. Terrible stuff.

The property is absolutely amazing! Beautiful garden, beautiful beach, nice pool, quiet and peaceful. Very nice rooms, the owner did a really good job conserving the natural environment.

My room was advertised as Seaview. It was facing the sea, but you couldn't really see the water because of the trees. I suggested that they advertise it as "partial" Seaview instead. But it was a really nice room.

The ambiance is great. Staff are really nice. Beautiful and quiet remote location. Close to the beach, yoga, and restaurants. Their own restaurant is really nice. They were very responsive and fixed some things that needed to be fixed And I loved the outdoor shower!

We booked two bungalows through booking.com, and expected to pay the price agreed on there. We were then asked to pay an additional 2% credit card charge - something none of the other 15+ hotels we stayed during this trip charged. Next we were shown ‘our’ bungalows, described on booking.com as two room bungalows with a bedroom with a double bed, and a separate living room with a sofa bed. What we got were bungalows with only a single bedroom with one large bed (the 1.2 meter sofa in there can hardly be called a sofa bed). When we pointed out that we booked bungalows with a separate living room, we were simply told to contact booking.com if we have an issue with this booking… It appears to us that it would certainly be the hotel’s responsibility to make sure that the description on the booking platform matches what they actually provide. The price we paid for the bungalows is not too high for the single room bungalows, but if you expect a two-room bungalow with a bed in each room as advertised, and the response you get from the hotel is a sloppy “talk to booking.com if you are not happy”, than that is certainly not good. The drinking water provided in the room is chlorinated tap water. The choice for breakfast was very limited. Two slices of bread with butter and jam was the top choice. Check-out time is 11am. When we asked whether it would be possible to check out around 12, we were told that this is not possible. When we passed by those bungalows again at 1pm, both bungalows were still in the same state as when we left (the beds not made, rooms not cleaned, nobody there…). We saw one other guest in the resort the whole time we were there…

The resort is located on a scenic cliff area in a beautiful garden landscape, with lots of birds singing in the morning. The pool is long, nice and clean. The bungalows were nice and clean (apart from the occasional cockroach or other small wildlife) and the large double bed (made with two separate mattresses) was comfortable, hot shower and aircons were working well. The home-made bread for breakfast was nice. The staff was nice, as long as there were no issues to discuss/ resolve (see below). For the bungalows and the garden and cliff landscape with the small ‘private’ beach, I would give four to five stars, if the issues described below were not tarnishing the experience a bit.

Still advertise the day spa being up.on the point and it was an amazing place to have a massage, unfortunately they don't use it any more and haven't for over a year. Toilet blocked up while there.

It was 8 years since last being at Gajah Mina and some of the improvements have worked.

This hotel was clearly understaffed. Our room needed a deep clean. Sliding door was not sliding, we had to lift it to close it . We choose honeymoon suite because of the bubble bath and view, bath did not started to work. Overall Honemoon suite needs updating and a better lamps.

Location. It is very quiet and lovely views by the ocean. Good place just to relax. Food was great, especially raviolis. Nice swimming pool. Good wifi and lovely and helpful staff.

The breakfast is from 8 am, which was a little late for us but that was not really an issue.

Our bungalow was super nice and spacious, the garden area is beautiful and very relaxing. The hotel is in walking distance to the surf spot and some restaurants. The staff is very friendly.

Construction was happening right by pool area and we were not told in advance. Rooms were very dark. Beds uncomfortable. Bathroom smelled of urine on arrival. Air con only working effectively in one of three rooms. Breakfast only 3 options and no drink option for kids. Staff seem disinterested and not very receptive or responsive.

Many staff were unfriendly or clueless. Restaurant has poor service and food. Has a feeling of being abandoned by management and not well maintained. Our shower didn't work properly and was not fixed when we asked.

The Restaurant was quite expansive.

A little Paradise, very quiet and private. Breakfast was good. The Bungalow had a lot of space, clean, looks little bit like 1001 night. The shower outside was also great. Every bungalow has its own kitchen next to it. On the terrace you feel alone, nobody can see you because of all the plants. We had a hot stone massage next to the cliff, you could hear the ocean while relaxing.

The resort feels like it is coming out of a hard time due to covid lock downs etc the staff numbers are at bare min and it shows in the cleanliness and the general state of the facilities. We could not get our bathroom shower bath to work so had to use the outside shower but this was nice if you didn’t mind having to do so. The resort could be amazing and I hope one day it manages to return to its former glory. Pool is great.

The location is amazing and the grounds are beautiful but under maintained as very short of staff since the lockdown. Great place to be private and watch the sunsets and walk the beaches
