The only thing is that the place is quite high up, so no chance of taking a walk around. They do provide free transport and drop off to nearby places though (by scooter).

Everything was fantastic. The rooms were beautiful and very clean. The service was excellent and the staff were very polite and patient. The view from the pool was great.

Five new villas with one reception located in a beautiful garden with a pool and a view to the sea and mount Agung. Great breakfast and super staff who will help organize your program, arrange scooter rental and trips including car and driver. For example we recommend, for snorkeling with mantas. The location is great, but a scooter is essential for traveling around Nusa Penida.

There was nothing bad, our best hotel during our Bali trip.

Really kind staff, arranged plenty of things for us. The food was cheap and good. The room was beautiful (including the bathroom), and this hotel had the best view I have ever seen in a hotel.

Great view, fantastic staff, delicious food, 45 minutes by motorbike to Diamond Beach (best to go around 5 am to see the sunrise before the arrival of tourists from Bali, then come back to the hotel, eat late breakfast, and relax), 45 minutes by motorbike to the opposite direction to Kelingking Beach (best to go around 5 pm to see the sunset, then come back to the hotel and grab a well-deserved beer)

I have absolutely nothing to say that was not exceptional.

This hotel was one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had, and I have traveled all over the world. The staff was so genuine, so kind, so caring. The food was phenomenal, the view unbeatable, the rooms were beautiful and so clean and made up so carefully. The pool was so nice with the sprawling ocean view, I drank many coconuts literally off the tree and felt relaxed, joyful and happy here. I will never forget my stay!

the houses is really nice and cute. They have only 5 houses and it’s really private. It’s a nice view from swimming pool to volcano. The staff is very kind and polite. We rented bikes in the property. So I’m highly recommend this place for quite vacation for joining and relaxing.

For us it wasn't a problem but it's probably good to know for others: the shower area is open door (but there were no mosquitoes in our room, just remember to always keep the bathroom door closed) & there is limited hot water (was enough though, on such hot days we didn't need much anyway).

This accommodation was perfect for our stay in Nusa Penida. It is beautiful, well maintained, clean, comfortable, spacious, the garden and pool area nice and quiet, the volcano view is amazing, the food is delicious and the location is also good, close to the beach and other bars & restaurants. The staff is very friendly, communication is fast & easy and thanks to Ketut for organizing everything for a perfect trip (driver, tickets, tours, motorbike rental - all very nice and for a fair price). I will definitely choose this place again for my next trip to Penida, it exceeded our expectations.

Personally I didn't like canopy over the bed, just because I never use them and for me they are not very convenient. But I tied it, and it was okay)

Me and my bf came there for a weekend, and it was an amazing stay! Starting from view from our room to very helpful stuff guys. We've celebrated bf's b'day, and the manager even brought me by himself by bike to the place with cakes to make a surprise 🙂 Also we booked the snorkeling last minute, private tour, and the guys organised everything. Very tasty food for breakfast and not only, we've enjoyed the shrimps a lot! The place is beautiful by itself with a nice view near pool. So, we totally enjoyed our stay there, will recommend this place to friends 😌

We had a wonderful stay at Gara Gara in Nov 22. Location is beautiful, with a stunning view from the pool out to sea and across to the mainland. The staff (Kadek in particular) were all incredibly helpful and were kind enough to take us to and from our dive lessons each day as well as pick up and drop off at the ferry port. Kadek took time to educate us on Nusa Penida culture and made sure we were appropriately and beautifully dressed for our trips to various templs. We can't thank them enough! The rooms were very spacious and clean. Wouldn't hesitate to visit again if we ever return to Penida!

Nothing. But if i really had to pick one thing. Maybe they could install a second shower head because i am short hahaha.

The staff was very friendly, kind and welcoming. They even helped drive us to a restaurant for dinner and picked us up even when it started to rain. The room is clean and shower and bathroom is also new and clean. The location is peacefull and has a nice view of the ocean. I wish I could have stayed longer. I highly reccommend this to anyone visiting Nusa Penida in Bali. I will definitely stay longer if I am in Bali again :)

Everything was good!

This hotel is like a small paradise on the Earth! The most impressive for me was one morning, when I’ve seen the Vulcano! Beautiful clean place with an amazing views, friendly and helpful staff, silence and calm atmosphere. Great fresh breakfasts and lunches, where cooked especially for us. Definitely recommend this mini-hotel if you decide to go to Nusa Penida. It is a bit far from the main street but the staff always helped us with transportation. Also, we went on an amazing snorkeling, which was also organized for us by the hotel staff. We saw manta and it's definitely worth it!

This hotel was incredible- the staff went out of their way to make your stay as good as possible, the rooms were clean and comfortable, the views were amazing. The staff had decorated the room in flowers to celebrate our engagement, which was beautiful. Reception organised ferry pick up/drop off, scooter hire and tours for us. The food on site was great- especially the smoothie bowls and chicken satay. Would recommend this place to everyone.

There was nothing we didn’t like!

We loved absolutely everything about our stay at Gara Gara! From the view, to the wonderfully kind and helpful staff, the delicious food and great breakfast, the clean and well-appointed room, the location, and the pool. We could not fault this place - it was the highlight of our three week trip in Bali and we didn’t want to leave. I’m rarely moved to write a review for accomodation, but I could not recommend this place more!

It is located a bit far from the centre and it would be difficult to travel without renting a motorbike. However, Kadek and Wayan have been so kind to offer us a ride to nearby restaurants for lunch and dinner. The pipe water is a bit salty probably due to groundwater salinisation on the island. Not so much the hotel's issue but just take note

The most hospitable stay we had in our trip! Kadek and Wayan are so amazing!! They helped us with transportation and recommendations on vegetarian restaurant options and places to hang out by the sea. We also left our belongings behind and Kadek made the effort to rush to the port and returned them. Life saving!
