United KingdomThe villa itself is amazing, but the main asset of it is its people who are running this place. Rita makes the best nasi goreng in the entire ubud. My wife is vegetarian and she was struggling with food in general in Bali, but never had any issues with breakfast. Exceptional service overall and real desire to help.

Czech RepublicAs in many places in Bali, there is ongoing construction nearby, so you might hear some building noise during the day.
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Ubud. The breakfast was delicious, the service was excellent, and the room was cozy and comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised with a room upgrade, which made our experience even better. The staff were incredibly friendly, kind, and always willing to help. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Ubud!

AustraliaThe staff were amazing! We had come last minute from another stay which was awful and the were so accomodating. Offered us iced teas etc. whilst we were enjoying the pool area. We left early in the morning for our flight home and they made breakfast packs for us to take. If we returned we would definitely stay here again!! Breakfast was delicious The pool area was great Very quiet- didn't see other guests despite there being most rooms taken.

AustraliaThe location is great, being very close to the attractions, like Ubud royal palace, and yoga barn. However, be prepared to deal with some traffic jams in the area.
The room is spacious and impeccably clean, with complimentary snacks and drinks provided. The service is outstanding, I truly appreciated how helpful and friendly every staff member was. The complimentary breakfast was also quite nice. The hotel makes it worth every penny.

The location is perfect, far enough from the noise of the city and just a few minutes to go with a scooter. And on top of that, the breakfast was included and really good. United KingdomBeautiful villa and rooms. The room we stayed in was a basement but it had windows for natural light and the staff kept it very clean so it didn't have humid basement smells. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was powerful with hot water. The staff were very accommodating and the breakfast was superb. We had some activities booked so they were nice enough to bring it to our room earlier than usual. They also offered quick laundry services which we were very happy with! The position of the villa is good too, it's about a 45 minute to the main road but you can find really good restaurants closer to the villa than in the main area. Overall we were very satisfied with our stay and would definitely go back there next time.

The staff, the manager are very friendly & helpfull The room is clean and big enough for three of us.The bathroom is surprisingly big and convenience.. I think the rate they offer is very reasonable. And the extra bed charge also very cheap . Thank you Gefecon.It's a pleasant place to stay.

United KingdomThe location, although I like a quieter area this was just a little bit out of the way and took about 30 mins to walk to monkey Forrest and about 50 mins to ubud market/palace. Normally this wouldn’t bother me as I like to walk but it’s not the most paved area so it was quite dangerous to walk.
Spacious clean room, big comfy bed and great shower! Staff were very friendly and the breakfast was tasty. I liked how the breakfast was made to order and delivered to the patio at a time of your choice.

EVERYTHING! We really loved our stay at Gefecon and the staff has made it so special for us. We have stayed in a lot of hotels all over Bali and we felt this is our favourite. Nothing is too much trouble, breakfast is so tasty and can be served at the time you requested (we had a few mornings that we had to leave early for an activity/boat and we would of missed breakfast, but this can be arranged and served at time that suits you). Not to mention the unlimited complementaries of snacks, water & soft drinks offered in the room daily. The location is great, not too far from the heart of Ubud & other attractions. The room is also spotless with great amenities. Thank you for amazing stay, we will definitely be back💚

United KingdomI was looking for a hotel which struck the balance between central but not hectic. A place where I could relax in the morning and needed to work in the afternoon and evening. I found this at Gefecon. A beautifully sized and light room with a veranda and wonderful views over the paddy fields and pool. A desk and good Wi-Fi to work and a clean, spacious bathroom. The staff were all wonderful and so warm and helpful. I enjoyed being able to walk to yoga or central Ubud without biking anywhere. It’s in the same vicinity as Eat Pray Loves Ketut Liyer’s family compound. I looked forward to my Breakfast of fresh fruit, coffee and omelet and it was brought to my veranda each morning with a smile to start the day. I stayed six days and felt very relaxed and settled whilst also being able to work. Thanks to everyone at Gefecon for a wonderful stay and your warm hospitality.

IranI wouldn’t recommend the standard rooms if you care to have a view and care for the brightness of the room. They are very spacious and clean but I find them a bit dark and depressing for my taste.
The best aspect of the place is the amazing staff that work there. They try their best to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. I found the deluxe room to be very spacious, bright, clean, and with amazing view. My stay overall was very enjoyable and I would come again.
