Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

Great location, but off the main street. Super cute grounds, koa pond and bungalow. Pool next to rice fields. Super nice brothers, free breakfast!

AustraliaThe lighting in my room was bothersome as I work online so it wasn't great for my eyes. I was on the bottom floor though, not sure if It would have been much better upstairs. There are ants which is normal for Bali, however they do a great job at cleaning your room every day.
Koi fish pond, view of the rice paddies at sunset, quiet swimming, and wonderful breakfast. You are down an alley way so you'll have quiet being off the mainstreet but able to access anything quickly if you need. Warung Lokal in the same alley way became my go-to food place!

HungaryNot necessarily a negative, more of an observation/experience: After using the towels, let it dry outdoors, even overnight, rather than inside the room!
A very pleasant accommodation. It is run by three brothers who are incredibly hardworking. They are always busy doing something throughout the day, and you can feel that they genuinely care about the place. They are very kind, humble, and always helpful. Breakfast was included in the price. We ordered an extra breakfast every morning for 35k IDR per meal, which was very affordable! I’m not exaggerating when I say that I had one of the best scrambled eggs here. 😃 Absolutely recommended! The facilities are great, the brothers clean daily, and there’s nothing to complain about when it comes to cleanliness. Thank you for the wonderful stay—it was a truly pleasant experience! 🙏🏼

MalaysiaThe room is damp and musty. Because there is no air conditioning. But that's okay. In Ubud, many hotels and villas have mold if the room is not dried. I keep fan on. It was OK.
STUFF. LOCATION. Very are friendly. I forgot my bag, they texted me quickly and we organised the grab for delivery . I was so happy not to go back. Small rice filed. Breakfast. I came around 3.40 am. Because of a flight delay. They meet me at night. Quite. Massage nearby. Very green. Fishes. Cool out area for breakfast. My private.

Excellent find, great price, the hosts were lovely and breakfast was so fresh and served on your balcony, place was spotless and very pretty with clean pool over looking the rice terrace. Had room with AC which was great, cleaned everyday with a nice balcony, lovely fish pool too with all coy carp. Location is right in middle of monkey forest road with all restaurants on your door step (Blue bar is lovely for food and drinks literally facing) but still fine to go to bed without the noise, has a spa next door (which was so cheap and good) and restaurant next door, highly recommend will stay here again !!

AustraliaThis place is in the best location! It's so close to the main streets in Ubud, everything is within walking distance, but it's down a small allyway and still very quiet and peaceful. The views looking over the rice terrace was also so nice! The room was large and they always provided us water. The bed was very comfortable, and the shower worked really well! I loved the bottle opener next to the fridge, very handy! The breakfast was delicious and the staff were SO kind and friendly. It was a really great stay overall, and excellent value for money.

United KingdomThe brothers who run Gerhana are beautiful gentle souls and made our stay comfortable and lovely. It’s in a great location to explore Ubud, set back enough from the Main Street that it feels peaceful and quiet, yet everything is on your doorstep. I highly recommend staying here and will definitely return if I’m ever in Ubud again.

The property was beautiful and the staff were so helpful. The room was very clean with a big bathroom and wardrobe. The pool was very peaceful and got the sun in the morning. We loved that they left out hot water with tea and coffee, alongside an amazing breakfast. The property was very quiet, just off the Main Street an easy walk to main amenities. We only stayed for two days but we were sad to be leaving and wished we could have stayed longer.

EstoniaThis was a great stay. The guest house is run by a local family and they were all so incredibly nice and helped me with everything. All the brothers working there are extremely sweet and attentive to your well-being. The place is really chilled and there are beautiful plants around. Breakfast is simple, but with different fruits and good in general. The room was spacious was the bed was amazing. They cleaned the room everyday, too. Also, I was working remotely, having to attend online meetings, and the Wifi was great. Only downfall: The bathroom in my suite was aesthetically ugly (but it was functional, so no biggie). I would definitely recommend this stay!

United KingdomFirstly, the location is just perfect! Just a little alley walk from the Main Street. A few minutes walk from the monkey forest, temple and palace. The owners were all really helpful and super friendly. Breakfast was amazing everyday! The room was a really good size! The bathroom was massive. Lots of room for us with a toddler. The views from upstairs are STUNNING. Water pressure and temperature was perfect

LebanonI liked everything
The room was simple yet spacious, clean, and comfortable, providing the perfect retreat for my 8-day stay in Ubud. I had the best view of the rice fields, which was spectacular, especially from the huge terrace featuring a small couch and table. I loved waking up early to watch the beautiful sunrise, with Mount Batur visible in the distance. For the price, this hotel exceeded my expectations. The location is very central, just a few minutes away from the Monkey Forest and a lively street filled with shops and restaurants. Despite the vibrant surroundings, the hotel itself was peaceful and quiet, though I could hear music from nearby bars at night, which wasn’t a problem for me. Breakfast was excellent for the price! You can choose from four options: three egg styles (omelette, scrambled, or fried) and a fruit platter. While drinks aren’t included, you receive two small bottles of water each day, and there’s tea and coffee available in the room. Be prepared for some unexpected visitors around 6 AM, as the monkeys are quite active in the morning. Don’t leave anything tempting on the balcony, as they will steal it, but it was entertaining to watch them! The three brothers who run the place were incredibly nice and helpful, respecting my privacy while still being attentive. The hotel is well-maintained and offers a lovely jungle vibe. With the rice field views, Pool, and playful monkeys, my stay was unforgettable. I would definitely stay here again!
