Property does wrong advertisement. No pool (at least water hasn’t been in pool ages). The messages they send when they accept the booking no prices are correct. Went there bit earlier to leave my bags but couldn’t find any stuff member nowhere. Yard is full rubbish Room was quite clean but in the bathrooms can find a lot of ants, I founded that if light were on all the time they didn’t show them too much.

If there has to be one thing then maybe wifi.

holes in the floor. salty water from the tap. ants in the bed. leaky plumbing, shoddy carpentry. not even a book to hang a towel. feels like the place is about to blow down. air con doesn’t get cold because it’s a pourous building.

Toilet flash didn't work, shower with very low power and cold, salty water, lightening of the room was poor but still you could see it was not clean and full of insects, also the common areas like the breakfast tables/chairs were not cleaned regularly (we accidentally dropped a bit of toast the first day and there it was 4 days later), location was good 5 mins from main harbor & beach, breakfast was OK. Personnel was very nice but didn't speak English very well so communication was difficult.

I had a great time. It was a lovely, peaceful place where you can truly relax. The staff was friendly, and the cottage was clean and well-maintained! Definitely recommended, thank you.

Disaster. Dont come here guys. Dirty. We were 2 nights, horror nights. After 6pm no water, fit anything. Nobody come to help me, nobody was in the reception. I called them more than 5 times and nothing.

The worst place I've been, the air conditioner doesn't work, full of cockroaches

The pool was empty, half of the property was under construction, our bathroom was flooded the entire stay, the floor felt like it was about to fall apart, bed bugs, we didn’t receive towels until the next day and were told to share one between 3 of us, had no bar or social area at all , the power cut out 5 minutes into being there, was generally unclean and one of us got originally checked into a room with no aircon or shower and we had to ask to be moved.

Everything. No towel, no blanket. Aircon is not functional. Place looks like abandoned. Dirty bedsheets, toilet is full of cockroaches. This property should close and stop accepting guests coz this place is next to none. This is an abandoned accommodation. Don’t get fooled!

We came and there was no one in the reception, so we couldnt check in… The room we got was not at all what we ordered, there was dirt anywhere, and the water was so dirty. The AC didnt work, and they charged way more money than we should have payed

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST. This place is UNBELIEVABLE… Us, along with alot other guests were so disappointed with BOTH hotels. I’ve travelled alot and never experienced anything like this. We arrived to no one there but a note written and still couldn’t get ahold of anyone for ages. I’ll show you the photo. We walked into room and there was the FOULEST smelling salt water shower and sink basin. The pool was absolutely revolting. I’ll show photos. Let alone the laundry and office - something out of a horror movie. I’ll show photos. We ended politely saying we could not stay here. The lovely, stressed out, poor overworked staff member who has to organise multiple hotels for the owner ended up moving to ‘another hotel the owner had’ and it was SO BAD also. At this point we felt so uncomfortable and so bad for the poor worker we just accepted it. No running water AT ALL. The bathroom smelt like something I’d never smelt before and I’ve traveled all over Asia. I’ll never forget the smell. The pool had all these floating objects it in - I’m sure I would have died if I hopped in no joke. The pillow was FULL of BLACK MOULD. I’ll show photo. AVOID AT ALL COSTS - please believe me. I contacted the owner and she just said ‘you had the local experience at Kampoeng, stay at Ilalang’ - WHICH WAS WHERE WE WERE because we had to get moved and it was JUST AS BAD. It’s just impossible to communicate with an idiot!

Nothing. I mean host tried to pawn us to some other motel which was even worst. When I declined the other motel, then he claims the aircon broke down. He took the remote away and put the air-conditioning on fan only mode and we spent the whole night in humidity struggling to even breathe. I highly suggest to please increase your budget a little bit if you could and you might have the best time of you life. Gilli Island is the best spot in Indonesia. Made a mistake now hoping this might help someone. Cheers

Paper walls. You can hear people snoring from the other rooms. With the mosque close by make sure to have earplugs, as at 3am they wake people up for praying with the speakers and it sounds like screaming and danger alarm. When we arrived there was no one, and no office/reception or something similar. After calling and texting for 30 mins we just chose a bungalow to put our stuff in. The pool doesn't exist. It's an empty rectangle, and hasn't been used in ages.

The bungalow itself is nice. Bed is okay. Toilet also quite good, but just cold water for shower. Little space outside for chilling or smoking. Paddy, the owner, was helpful and kind. They own another homestay or hotel with pool and better rooms, and I guess they don't renew this one so that people can upgrade to the other one. We were staying just one night, so it was fine considered the price, but definitely wouldn't stay for more days considered the mosque sings and basically no facilities outside the room.

WHERE DO I START FROM CLEANNIESS - BIG ZERO NO BASIC FACALITIES - CLEAN TOWEL & BEDSHEET OR EVEN WASHOROOM MASQUITO COCKROACH AND LIZARD WHAT NOT WAS IN MY ROOM. ICEING IN CAKE WAS LEAKING ROOM SO IF ANY PLANS TO VISIT IN MONSOON HAPPY FREE SHOWER WHILE SLEEPING.
