Good value for money. Great view from your bungalow!

There is no view of rice fields from room or pool which I was expecting per blurb. This area now built over. However this initial disappointment was overcome by how beautiful the staff, gardens, food and the rooms actually are.

The room was clean and had all we needed, large enough for us. Staff very friendly. Pool beautiful. View of Mt Agung amazing. Breakfast delicious. Dinners very delicious too. Great coffee shop too!

Everything about our stay was absolutely amazing! The views, the food, the room, the grounds but most of all the staff. We had our severely autistic son with us who had lots of struggles during our shortened time in Bali. The girls were absolutely fantastic helping us to manage and supporting us however we needed. Couldn’t recommend them more if I tried!

Bed sheets and pillow covers felt plastic. We also missed having some social spaces on the property to hang around.

Good value for money, nice breakfast with good coffe, clean and spacious room, large bed to fit a baby, nice bathroom with no insects even though it has open ventalation, close to some nice restaurants and good warungs. Nice pool for cooling down during the day. Would stay here again.

I mean not that I didn’t like it but to not as some people might struggle but as you are near nature expect, insects and mosquitoes all around and an occasional gecko or lizard in the room. We just didn’t bother them when they came in and they eventually found their way out.

Staff were really really nice even though there English isn’t fluent they really try their best. The rooms are really spacious and we found the beds really comfortable. The breakfast was one of the best we had in while in Bali.

Fourth time back to Giri Carik. Staff are wonderful. Location is perfect. Beds are comfortable. Bathrooms are big and hot water always available. Pool is clean and gardens lovely. Coffee shop downstairs is also a lovely bonus.

The villa was perfect, high standard of cleaning, the staff amazing especially Ayu she was fabulous, the breakfast fresh with a great choice, a number of great warungs nearby… swimming pool is fantastic

What a stunning property with lovely staff! The room was beautiful! We had a large deluxe room and it was so lovely and huge! Free tea and coffee and a kettle and shampoo and shower gel provided. The bed was very comfortable with a big mosquito net although you didn’t need it …… even though the room has openings (very normal for many places in Asia!) we rarely had any mosquitos in the room! The fan was more than enough as it got so cool in the evenings and mornings that even the fan was not needed. We loved the open air bathroom and shower and the pool…… just stunning! And because it’s such a small hotel we had it to ourselves nearly all of the time! Breakfast was delicious as was lunch and dinner and the staff went above and beyond to accommodate us! Location was perfect with amazing restaurants within a 2 minute walk - the best location in the village. We loved this hotel and for the price it was just incredible - we would definitely stay again!! It’s stunning, comfortable and peaceful! Thank you so much for the lovely stay!

Nothing it was all just wonderful

I just love giri carik it is the 2nd time I have stayed here and wouldn't stay anywhere else in Sidemen. The most beautiful warm welcome and farewell from Komang and Ayu was truly touching. All the staff are just wonderful, so happy and friendly. The views are out of this world and I was lucky enough for it to be clear to see the majestic Mt Agung for the 4 days of my stay from my balcony and even while laying in the big comfortable bed. I absolutely adore the traditional rooms which are kept so clean. The breakfast is fabulous and so large with a great choice, the fresh cooked food in the restaurant is also delicious. The pool is so clean and well maintained and a joy to laze around and keep cool through the day, surrounded by beautiful well kept gardens. With only 5 bungalows, it really is such a private and peaceful retreat. Whilst there may not be a fridge in the room, this isn't a problem as you can enjoy a refreshing drink or coffee from the upstairs restaurant or coffee shop below. Thankyou again to all the staff for making my stay another very special and memorable one, I hope to be back again 🙏

A small hotel in a great location. Staff were wonderful. Breakfast was included with home made bread. Pool and gardens were nice. An older style bungalow with verandah and day bed. Views of Mt Agung. Easy walking to warungs for food.

The place is private and quiet. Komang, Ayu and the rest of the staff are so warm and welcoming. They went beyond duty to accommodate us and attend to our comforts. We had to leave at 6.30am and Ayu was there to say goodbye, with a packed breakfast she had prepared for us very early in the morning. Fantastic place to stay. I think that was my 6th visit to Giri Carik. We'll be back.

Giri Carik is good value for money, their restaurant has nice meals and good coffee. The area is good for walking around with lots of nice warungs close by.

Staff were extremely friendly & helpful upon arrival! Our room had a lovely view of the pool. The menu had good selection of foods. We were provided with rental bike (good value). Was perfect just for the night.

We had a lovely stay, the room was large and comfortable, the staff were super friendly and accommodating and helped organize a taxi for us. Great breakfast options in the morning and beautiful views. Lots to do in the area for outdoor exploring. Good choice of walking distance restaurants and cafes too, would come back again!

Bathroom tiles and basins could be updated to keep in line with other accommodation for the same price. But functional and still ok.

Lovely pool area. Good location near many restaurants. Nice size rooms. Very helpful friendly staff and owner. Good feel. Great Balinese food and breakfast served at Giri Carik in their Joglo style Cafe with lovely views.
