Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

FranceWe were a little bit annoyed by our noisy neighbours who were listening to some loud music during Nyepi, the quiet day in Bali. But this is certainly not the fault of the resort. Also the ATV tour offered by the resort was quite short and did not include any waterfalls, which my boyfriend was expecting.
GK Bali was the best way to finish our 2 week vacation in Bali, we wish we could have stayed longer. The staff was extremely friendly and always available. We booked the villa with the private pool and it was just amazing to wake up to the views from our bed, directly to the palm trees and the private pool. The resort itself is quite small and not overcrowded as we first thought. The main shared pool rarely had anyone using it, making it very comfortable to use. I also took some yoga lessons and enjoyed them a lot.

SwitzerlandThere is not much we didn't like. It would be nice if the resort had a spa as well. Although they offer massage options, the massage therapist comes to your room/villa and does the massage on the bed, which is not very comfortable for a massage (would need proper massage beds).
- Breathtaking view from the villa (forest and partially some rice fields). - Amazing staff, they were all very friendly and always smiling. We enjoyed talking to them a lot! - Reasonable prices for the food and drinks. Moreover, they were very attentive to the food allergies of my wife (gluten and some vegetables). They provided special gluten-free options for her, which we appreciated a lot. We had an amazing week at GK Bali Resort, wish we could stay more. Would definitely recommend it.

SwitzerlandEverything was excellent. Just one small comment. It would be cool if there was a separate spa area where you can enjoy the massages.
I have been to many hotels but none of them had staff as friendly as this one. I would especially like to mention "Tia", who served us super and the cheerful "Perli", who helped us with every request. Also our driver "Wayan Wirawan (Wi)" was just brilliant. The hotel is quiet and the pool is beautiful. The massages are just unique and an absolute must during a stay. I would go again any time!

IndonesiaThe food was delicious, but a couple of times the portions of the same food were different sizes. I ordered soup and I liked it so much! But the second time the portion was much smaller and less ingredients inside. I felt very uncomfortable. It wasn't just once. I would be glad if the owner of the hotel talked to the chefs about this. There was also a dish on the menu that we wanted to try during the entire period of our stay at the hotel, but it was constantly not available. I also wish there was more variety of desserts
We(me and my future husband) return to this hotel again and again. This is a place for quiet rest, relaxation, walks, with good service, beautiful rooms and food. Around the jungle, large rice terraces with many paths (they are even better than the famous Tegallalang terraces, in my opinion); traditional balinese village and big temple. you can walk to a fairly large waterfall and river, admiring the mountains, there is really beautiful nature here, the real Bali! The hotel has free bikes (new, not broken) and I often rode them. Every evening the hotel staff brings mosquito products to the room - thanks to the hotel for that. The hotel also provides excursions, it is very convenient and I ordered a tour. There is a book in the room with useful information for tourists (for example, the hotel informs tourists about not very pleasant situations that can be encountered in Bali.) There is a small stream, banana trees on the territory of the hotel. The hotel is surrounded by greenery and flowers, the traditional Balinese style is combined with modern technology and comfort, for which I really appreciate this hotel. And by the way, the weather here, in the center of the island, is cooler, more comfortable for Europeans than on the coast. Even in the rainy season, it’s good here - beautiful nature and the sound of rain, ha-ha, we did nothing, enjoyed food, made small outings from the hotel under a large umbrella, which gives the hotel - our shoes was not in the mud: there is an asphalted narrow road near the hotel, along which we calmly walked.

AustraliaNothing to dislike in this resort.
Beautiful place, view, morning activities, close to other rice field, close alas harum, village tour, yoga, flower decoration in bath tub, floating breakfast, private pool, common pool, food, drinks. Everything was fantastic for the whole family. Everytime you see the staff, they are so welcoming and friendly. Free bicycle hire to roam around the village. Linda, sukreny, sukermi did an exceptional job of looking after us and the kids. The men in the resort are very helpful and always with a big smile. Very positive vibe to stay in this resort.

United KingdomWe had a one bedroom Villa with a private pool and absolutely loved it. The resort is so peaceful and so gorgeous. The staff went out of their way to make sure you felt right at home. We didn’t have any problems at all. You can communicate with reception via WhatsApp which made room service, booking taxis and any other questions we had so easy. We stayed her for 4 nights but easily could have stayed longer. The location is so peaceful but it is a bit out of the way. However, the hotel had great links with taxi drivers so it wasn’t too much of an issue at all!

AustriaThe meals are more expensive than usual local food, but this is an upper class resort and therefore it is ok. You also get enough for your money and it really tastes good!
It’s a beautiful resort if you want to calm down and enjoy the wonderful nature of Bali. Everything was very nice here. The stuff is awesome and very helpful with everything. We stayed here for 11 nights and it didn’t get boring for us because we rent a scooter and did a lot of day trips. Alternatively you can use the free shuttle to Ubud. The pool is a dream!
