Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaAll perfect!! The only thing that I miss it’s a curtain on the shower - because it’s a mess to shower on the bath without that- beside that detail everything was amazing!

United KingdomNothing of any significance.
We stayed in one of the ground floor rooms which have their own walkway into the pool. The pool is lovely - as it the area surrounding it. The gardens are maintained daily. Our room was large and well-equipped and the bathroom had a large hot tub. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, serving food from the restaurant out front to people sat around the pool. We certainly enjoyed out stay.

AustraliaHonestly, i didn't like the mould in the shower. It was a bit difficult to sleep as i would often have to use my asthma inhaler to treat my shortness of brrath and wheezing throughout the night due to the strong, mouldy smell. I also didn't like the fact it took so long for the shower water to drain. The toilet seat needed to be readjusted as it wasn't centered to the toilet bowl. In addition, didn't like the thin walls - could hear other guests showering, using the blow dryer etc. And we often didn't get housekeeping which we were suppose to get everyday during our stay. I whatsapped the grand sehati team saying we needed more toilet paper and towels as we had only half a roll left and one towel, however they said they had just stocked up our rooms during our housekeeping, which was in fact not true as the bathroom was in the exact same state it was before we left to eat out. We noticed we only got housekeeping when we started tipping staff for small things such as requesting for toilet paper, a blow dryer, and room service delivery. So yeah, if you want a superb experience here, I recommend just keep tipping staff and they will look after you 100% because as the other reviews have mentioned staff don't get paid well here at all, which I don't blame them for their inconsistent housekeeping. So tip them every now and then and you will be in good hands.
Staff are so friendly and nice. The reception staff would always stand up and greet us everytime we would leave, or come back. Same with the housekeeping staff, always greeted us whenever they would see us. It was raining heavily and flooding at one point and the lovely receptionist offered us to use an umbrella. So kind. I also had issues with my suitcase zipper and needed help. Two of the housekeeping boys came to the rescue and fixed my suitcase with pliers in about 2 minutes (yes, i tipped them :) ). And right before chreking out my suitcase zipper came apart again, and the same young man came to the rescue to fix it which i am very grateful for because i was stressed out. The staff here are so wonderful. And they message you back on whatsapp so quickly.

FinlandThe wifi connection in my room only worked at certain spots in certain times, so I had to use my own data most of the time. Instead of trying to fix the issue I was asked to use the lobby for wifi instead which is a shame

AustraliaThe spa treatments were never available as it only had one staff member. Internet was patchy. TV did not work at all but a new TV was placed in room when we notified reception.
Big room, lovely bath, good balcony with nice pool view. Restaurant on site was nice, especially at night time. Restaurant staff were lovely and handed in a bag to reception that we accidentally left at the table.

AustraliaThe bathroom needs some work. The poor lighting meant that I had to put the lamp in the room over the sink so I could take out and clean my contact lenses and shave. The room is also quite dark. The overall lighting and fixtures in the bathroom need to be improved. That's the only thing we didn't like.
The staff is excellent, always with a smile and ready to serve us with the greatest enthusiasm. The restaurant is also very good, both the food and the service. The hotel is located in a very central area with easy access to the center, the shops and the monkey forest.

South AfricaThere's not much to complain about as we were out most of the day.
The location was amazing. Was not too busy but also not too quiet. We walked the streets at night, and markets and shops were close to the hotel. It's not very big or fancy but perfect for our 3 night stay in Ubud. Not forgetting the spa, the massages were amazing! They also offer tours, you just have to ask at reception.
