Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesLoved this gem in a quiet location, 15 mins walk away from the hustle and bustle of ubud streets. There’s a free shuttle too taking you almost everywhere which I used all the time. Rooms were clean and very modern and comfy beds. Breakfast was fabulous, so much to choose from, but the most special thing about this place is its staff. They are so friendly and helpful, all are like family to each other and treat their guests like family! It’s like you are coming home. I was so comfortable that I came back for another stay! Thank you Isa and Ari for taking great care of of me

NetherlandsVery luxurious resort in the middle of the Ubud jungle, but still close to the city center. We could ask the staff anything and they helped us really well. The room was gorgeous and very, very clean. Loved our stay here!

United StatesWe wish a water refill station could have been placed on our floor too.
We were here for a week and really enjoyed our time. The staff is very accommodating and even offered classes in Balinese culture and customs. The place is not on the main road and backs up to a rice field. It was quiet but not too far out of the way. As a bonus, they offer a tram to help you get to designated locations. Their restaurant offers a great selection of choices. Around the quiet neighborhood are many other dining options. The place has such a relaxed vibe. We so enjoyed sitting on our balcony overlooking the rice fields enjoying a cup of tea.

GermanyLike everywhere in Bali, humidity is always an issue in accommodations. The first room we were allocated also seemed a little too damp. But then we got another room without any problems.
Very friendly and courteous staff. Spacious and clean rooms. Sufficient breakfast selection depending on occupancy as buffet or a la cart. The floating breakfast was really good and the pool was also really good for it. The shuttle service to the center of Ubud was also really good and always worked without any problems. We liked the hotel and Ubud itself so much that we extended our stay four times. The hotel also offers the possibility to book tours. We used these options three times. Our guide Dewa is highly recommended. We thought the price-performance ratio was great. When we extended our stay, we also got a discount without any problems.

United StatesZero complains
Everyone was so nice and so attentive. Anything you asked for was done immediately. They are also so caring and we did have a bit of difficulty with using American banks with their system. However, they work with us and we were able to get everything done in a reasonable manner they were all so nice and incredibly kind.

France2 constructions sites: one close to the restaurant and the other one on the other side of the hotel. So some rooms can be very noisy. The restaurant is also noisy because of that. I ordered a scooter (150.000 IDR / day) and it was old and I got it later than expected. I asked for a new one the day after. They didn't charge me for the first scooter and that was very nice. I had an issue with the wifi connection but it got fixed. The quality of the images on the TV wasn't good. I extended my stay and I had to negotiate a better discount that what they were offering me. On the catalog of the hotel, there was an initiation to balinese danse and the making of offerings but the hotel told me that they don't do it anymore. It was disappointing because I think they are nice activities to offer to the clients. They should remove them from the catalog. Also I had an issue with the taxi. At the check out, they called one taxi to bring me to my next hotel in Ubud and then to stay with me the entire afternoon so I can visit another city. 1/ The first price the driver gave me was very expensive. I had to negotiate hard. 2/ I double checked with the driver and the reception before leaving, and we all agreed on the price and the road. But once I was on the way to the city I wanted to visit, the driver told me that he will just drop me to the city and will wait for me there (he will spend 3/4 hours waiting for me). I told him that it wasn't what I asked for. If I just needed a single ride, I would have booked a Gojek. He didn't accept to be my driver for the afternoon anymore, I asked him to stop and drop me and I had to call a Gojek to get me to the city. That was not a nice end of my stay at the hotel.
Very big room (59m2). Modern. Nice decoration. Couch, huge bed. Big bathroom with a beautiful bathtub. Clean. View on the nature but try to get a room on the higher floor, the view on the nature is nicer. The hotel pays for the Gojek and adds it on the final bill. That's nice when you are running out of cash and too tired to get out like I was.

CanadaWe have no negative feedback, Green Fields was incredible and we will definitely return!
Everything at Green Fields was exceptional. The breakfast was wonderful and everything exceeded our expectations. The staff are incredibly friendly. Tiani was a model staff member and assured that all of our needs were met. She greeted us with a big smile everyday and ensured our well being on all levels. The pool was wonderful and the hotel shuttle was a major plus!

SlovakiaThe ground floor room was really beautiful, but there was a smell during the entire stay - dampness and mustiness
The hotel is located in a beautiful garden near the rice fields. The hotel provides a free transfer to the city center. The staff was wonderful. Breakfast very tasty. We had 2 rooms in the hotel. The children's room was upstairs overlooking the rice fields. It was beautiful, big, clean and there was no problem. Our room was on the ground floor with a view of the pool. The room was really beautiful, but there was a smell during the entire stay - dampness and mustiness. Otherwise, there is nothing to complain about the room. I definitely do not recommend this ground floor room. But the room upstairs was perfect.

CanadaWe originally booked a garden view room which had a view of a parking lot and construction so I would not recommend these rooms. We upgraded to a suite which was wonderful. Additionally, the food at the restaurant was not great - would recommend going into town for meals.
This hotel is in a very beautiful and tranquil spot, overlooking a rice terrace. The pool is wonderful and the staff goes above and beyond.

RomaniaSometimes the noise from cicadas were a little annoying.
The whole personnel(even though many were very young and without experience), they were very helpfull and were always trying to help. Thr location, villa and room looked exactly like in the photos. The view was beatiful. The cleaning, fruits, water, towels were replaced everyday. The most important thing for us was the fact that they helped us with suggestions, transport to/from the airport and the free transport towards Ubud city centre.
